Inspired by a Song of Ice and Fire and Game of Thrones

Note: This role play may contain mature content that is not suitable for the young of mind

It was 219 AC, during the Great Spring Sickness when a greater tragedy struck the Seven Kingdoms, the murder of King Aerys I Targaryen, his family and most of his court. The next heir is but a child. This time of turmoil and sickness brings chaos to the land, even more with the threat from the rising from East…

With the king day, ambitions rise. Play the Game of Thrones, work your way, rule the kingdom or serve the babe. Remember In the Game of Thrones, there is no middle ground, you win or you die.

This Role Play will be set in King's Landing, the capital of Westeros. You may play your part no matter the size or nobility, as it is a time of chaos.

Some Background Information

The Spring Sickness is an unknown sickness that affects most of Westeros. A man may wake up healthy and die by the evening. There is no cure for this so far

When the Throne room was shut and the blood bath began, the dragons seem to have sensed it. King's Aerys dragon Vermithor burst out of the Dragon pit and flew straight into the throne room breaking past the door. It is said that the Dragon was mad seeing the dead body of its master, it burned the everybody till all that was left was just smoke as ashes.

Kailan faced off with the giant who easily stood three times her size, fearless, angry, unaware of anything else around them, for they would mostly be ignored by the other Lannisters. She was, after all, a girl trying to fight among armored men.

The giant stepped forward, wobbling slightly as his armor kept him upright. With one wide swing he tore apart a Reyne Sentinel, sending the man flying into Kailan(conveniently, albeit unintentional).

Rakhelis

He grabbed the man Ser Aeden threw and sliced his neck. He picked up a sword and stabbed one of the enemy and slashed at the other's throat. Rakhelis dropped and cut their legs to immobilize them but finishing them off with fatal blows.

Kailan grunted softly in surprise, managing to avoid the body as she stepped foreward, knife finding the soft spot in the giant's armor, cutting deep, intending to draw him away, distract him from the others.

The Reyne watched as he beast swung at Kailan, blocking any attempt for her to strike with his massive shield. "Rakhelis, move on Kailan, I'll cover!" He cried out, evading a quick jab, before sending his longsword into the neck of a Lannister.

Kailan was unfazed by the monster's shield, her movements coming quicker, striking like a viper at his arms and, really whatever she could reach.

Now enraged at the Ladies speed, the Lannister brute used his massive shield to charge at her, using his axe as a secondary tool to defeat her.

Kailan dodged lightly aside, narrowly missing the axe. It was a weapon she was horribly unfamiliar with. The girl kept up her strikes and slashes, but she was growing quickly tired, her badly bleeding side begining to sap her energy, and Kailan was growing clumsy in her steps.

Now was the chance he waited for, the giant had turned his back. Rakhelis ran and jumped behind him, stabbing the man with his dagger where he could find any weakness.

Ser Aeden

The Kingsguard grunted as his sword locked with a another Soldier. "Boss, you need a hand!?" Someone shouted, just as two more Lannister's appeared before the trio.

"Shit..." Aeden cursed, then spun his blade to deflect the soldier's, then slammed his fist into the man's face. The force knocked the soldier unconscious, buying Aeden the chance to assist his comrades.

Enraged, the giant shook Rakhelis off. He stood up and grabbed a sword. The dothraki wanted to attack the giant again but, more soldiers came so Rakh went and dealt with them

The brute roared and swung his shield as Kailan sprung at him, with an intense thud, the Lannister threw Kailan to the ground with his shield as well. He then charged her, using his massive boot to send her once again sprawling.

Kailan hit the wall, feeling bones crunch and her head spin with horrible pain before she lay still, energy finally gone, body broken, bright mind going dim as she struggled to simply maintain consciousness, for she knew unconsciousness meant death.

Mere moments passed as the Beast came to Kailan's lifeless form. With ease, the giant raised his axe to strike the final blow. A sudden hiss split the air as a blade tore through the Warrior's leg, his body shaking as he saw the Kingsgaurd. "You'll pay for that... Little man." Was all the Brute said, Aeden turned to strike again but was met by the shaft of the Beast's axe, smashing against Aeden's helm. In a flash, Aeden was flung to the ground, his helmet sent right off his head.

The Reyne struggled to his knees, bringing up his sword in defense. But it was all too late, the axe came down and deflected the Knight's sword, before sending one more violent blow. Aeden screamed in agony as the beast's axe tore through his sword arm, cutting right down to the bone. "What'd I say?!" The beast laughed, towering above the Kingsguard.

He jump and this time he knew just where to hit. The dothraki grabbed onto the giant's throat, his rage made his grip lethal. He raised his dagger and plunge in deep into the beast's neck. He kept stabbing him before slicing the neck open.

Rakh jumped off the towering corpse and went to the aid of his comrades "Ser Aeden! Ser Kailan!" he said, trying to help them.

The Knight slumped to the ground, using all his strength to dislodge the axe from his arm. Aeden moaned deeply as the blade slowly left his bloodied limb. The metal sung as the heavy axe fell to the ground. The Reyne felt himself loosing consciousness from the pain, but just barely holding on. "K-Kailan!" Aeden managed through his rambling, pointing slowly with his left hand to the Martell.

Kailan lay silently, blurry vision managing to catch the goant's fall, as well as Aedens. She sighed softly, eyes closing, unable to fight the growing darkness that crept across her vision.

"Quick help them" he shout to the Reyne man coming to help them. He rushed to Kailans side "Lady Knight are you okay?" he asked, but he didn't get a respond. He picked her up to carry her back as the other two get Ser Aeden.

The Knight grabbed hold of his sword as a Sentinel helped the Reyne to his feet. "Is she...?" He uttered as the Kingsguard felt nothing but the unyielding pain in his arm. As if by some stroke of grace, the Lannisters had all been defeated, leaving only the wounded.

The Knight fell to the floor, loosing blood from his arm. "Rakhelis, is she alive?!" He called out, angrily standing with the aid of the Sentinel.

"Ser, you mustn't... You'll tire." The Reyne warrior said to Aeden, holding onto the Kingsguard the best he could.

Sentinel Harr

"Gods... Aeden..." Harr uttered as the party returned to the entrance hall of Castamere's keep. In that moment, all eyes turned to their Lord, the heir to the Reyne Kingdom.

The Reyne looked towards his men, desperately trying to stay awake. "... We fall back... To the Catacombs..." Was all the Lion said, before being hauled down into the depths, followed by Kailan in Rakhelis' arms.

"Juno! Your brother!" Clovel shouted as they reached the Dungeon hall. Juno turned and nearly lost her breath at the sight of her brother's horrendous condition. "Fetch the Maester." The Sentinel ordered to one of his comrades, before setting the Reyne before his sister.

"Aeden... Aeden look at me." She spoke to the Knight, her hands trembling as she knelt before the Kingsguard. "Where the bloody hells is the Maester!?" Juno cried, watching Rakhelis set the Aeden's comrade on the nearest stone table.

"Kailan..." The Reyne Heir whispered, nearly unable to speak.

Connor had fought along side the castameres, searching for his friend as he did. When everyone started moving he followed, and he held the Martell's slim blade in hand as he walked.

The Clovel saw the Martell's Dorish armor admits the crowd of Reyne defenders. "Who the hell are you?!" The Sentinel called out as he appeared from the Catacombs, his Bastard blade held high.

"Well that fool might not pull through alive, hells the two nearly lost their lives if not for a Dothraki Warrior of all people." The Reyne said as they came up on the Hall Aeden and Kailan were brought to for treatment. Across from them was a stone table with a motionless figure being watched over by the Reyne Maester. "Just there..." Harr uttered, pointing in Kailan's direction, the wounded Kingsguard being treated as he sat beside the Martell.

Juno had applied six thick rolls of bandages to her brother's wound, but the blood kept flowing. "Gods..." She uttered to herself as she looked up into Aeden's lifeless eyes. To him, everything had been lost... His Father, the man he swore to serve. Kailan, the Lady he swore to stand beside. Along with the one thing Aeden was ever good at; swordfighting. The devastation was clearly getting to him as he stared at the grotesquely wounded forearm... His sword arm.

"It's going to be okay little brother..." Juno pleaded as she stood up slowly, turning to find Harr and a mysterious Knight beside him. "... Lady Kailan, that woman has a name." She scolded the Martell, her eyes red from weeping.

"...Who are you?" The Reyne uttered, looking up at the Knight. Juno turned to Aeden, surprised he had spoken at all.

"He is Ser Connor Martell, Mi'Lord." Harr added, feeling the need to add something to the conversation. "Apparently he helped defend from the Lannisters."

Aeden looked to the younger Reyne, then shook his head. "Go help the other sentinels, Haar." Was all he said as he motioned the Martell closer.

"You came here in search of Lan, I take it...?" The Knight then winced, feeling the blood begin to soak through the bondage once more. Aeden's tanned skin had already begun to turn pale as his blood continued to slowly seep from his wounded limb. The Kingsguard then looked over to his comrade, watching as the Maester worked tirelessly to save her life. "... My sister wasn't lying... It's really her." He spoke quietly, still watching Kailan.

"Aeden you really should let the Maester look at it." Juno once again insisted, only to have her brother simply shake his head, knowing Kailan's injuries were far worse.

"I mean what I said, Ser. Cauterize it. It stops the bleeding. And in time you will regain the use of your arm." Connor told him again, moving to wrap a strip of bandage around the other man's upper arm, slowing the flow of blood through the limb.

"Not yet." He grunted, but in truth the Lion was simply delaying the inevitable. Aeden all but knew it would be the only way to save his arm, but he dared not attempt it while he was so weak, especially when so many of his people were close. "Juno... I need..." He started, just as his sister offered him milk of the poppy. "No, I need wine..."

With another swig, the Lion set down the bottle and took the torch in hand. "A Kingsgaurd is exactly what it sounds like... They Guard the King, and are damn good at it... Or were, until all the real ones died..." Aeden murmured as his vision began to sway, the effects of the wine taking their toll. "Excuse me for a moment, I need to..." The Knight trailed off as he started for another room where he could do the deed.
