It was 219 AC, during the Great Spring Sickness when a greater tragedy struck the Seven Kingdoms, the murder of King Aerys I Targaryen, his family and most of his court. The next heir is but a child. This time of turmoil and sickness brings chaos to the land, even more with the threat from the rising from East…

With the king day, ambitions rise. Play the Game of Thrones, work your way, rule the kingdom or serve the babe. Remember In the Game of Thrones, there is no middle ground, you win or you die.

This Role Play will be set in King's Landing, the capital of Westeros. You may play your part no matter the size or nobility, as it is a time of chaos.

Some Background Information

The Spring Sickness is an unknown sickness that affects most of Westeros. A man may wake up healthy and die by the evening. There is no cure for this so far

When the Throne room was shut and the blood bath began, the dragons seem to have sensed it. King's Aerys dragon Vermithor burst out of the Dragon pit and flew straight into the throne room breaking past the door. It is said that the Dragon was mad seeing the dead body of its master, it burned the everybody till all that was left was just smoke as ashes.

"Lion's don't ask for help..." He uttered, clearly the alcohol talking, with a hint of Aeden's own pride mixed in. The Kingsguard soon found a separate crypt and sat down against the hard stony wall. He then set the torch between his legs and retrieved the Drakonstone Hachet he was given since his sword and dagger were set with his armor. Aeden then held the crimson edge over the flame, staring into the fire as he became lost in thought.

A muffled moan could be heard as Aeden's agony was made apparent. Juno glanced towards the Dornishman, then ran after her brother without a second thought. That is when the Maester glanced over to the Knight. "Friend of yours?" Maester Dumas grumbled, his hands covered in dried blood.

"Yes." The man uttered, obviously not taking well to the company of a Dornishmen. "I wouldn't be working on her if I didn't think she could make it." Dumas answered, snide as ever to the foreign Knight.

"... Just take your time." Juno uttered as she walked her brother into the main crypt.

"Everyone, we must start evacuating Castamere. We will use the tunnels to find safe passage back to Riverrun." Aeden addressed the crowd, his arm covered in a layer of fresh bandages.

Dumas grumbled something to himself, only to turn to the Reyne. "There are wounded here not fit for the travel, what will we do with them my Lord?"

"Those too critical to move will be left behind, now please, Sentinels will escort you all." Aeden concluded, then limped over to Dumas and Connor. "I will stay until everyone has left, then we will make a decision..."

The Maester glanced towards the Reyne, a bleak expression shown. "She's gonna have to be. We'll use the horses." Aeden concluded, then went to Connor. "You're gonna need to carry her to the exit, our horses are on the other side."

"Right, Dumas, have some of the sentinels escort the wounded first, then Rakhelis and I will lead the towns folk." He stated, drawing his sword with his left hand. The Lion did what he could to present himself as the leader the people needed, but everyone knew Aeden was nearly defenseless without his sword arm.

The Reyne held his wounded arm against his chest as he went to his armor and blade. "Do you need any help getting that on?" Juno asked, still watching over her little brother. He turned to her, feeling ashamed of his pathetic state.

"No, I need to do this." He uttered, taking the main chest plate in hand.

He glanced solemnly to the Dornishmen, then nodded subtly to his sister. "I'll make it quick, but you should stay clear of any fighting Aeden." Juno said, taking the plated armor, sliding it over the Knight's head.

"I will do whatever I can to protect these people, it is my duty." Aeden said quietly, feeling his sister strapping the leather threads tightly into place.

He watched the Knight as he grabbed his sheathed Longsword. "People change..." Aeden uttered, walking over to the Dorne Warrior. "Must be hard... Seeing the woman you thought you lost before you like this. For what it's worth, I wish I could've been quicker... Heh, maybe then you would've been able to catch up?" The Reyne said softly, saddened for being unable to reach his comrade in time.

Rakhelis took the blade in hand, looking it over before finally nodding to the Kingsguard. "Right, well, we better get a move on, there's likely to be at least a company out there in the forest." Aeden said as he drew his Reyne Hatchet, awkwardly holding the axe with his less than dominant hand.

Sentinel Harr

"Everyone back, fall back to the Catacombs!" Lance Sentinel Gregor called to the guardians, retrieving his blade from a defeated Lannister. Harr watched as his comrades ran past him, heading straight down into the crypts without another thought.

"Ser, Aeden called for the evacuation, they're heading through the Eastern Passage as we speak." Harr informed his commander, before spotting lions down the hall. "We must go, Ser!"

The older Knight scowled, heading over to Harr. "Fine, have the men encircle the Reyne family, ensuring their survival is paramount." Sentinel Gregor insisted, walking past Harr.

"Ser, what about Aeden, he insists he helps in the defense?"

The Old Sentinel glanced back towards Harr, then continued on. "Then you watch out for him..."

The dothraki stood once against among the Sentinels, into the fight. He held Ser Aeden's blade. Rakhelis would use the Lion's sword to defend the Lion's home, it felt right.

The Knight started with his sentinel's following closely. All while the common folk began their slow march, roughly forty in all. The tunnel leading outside was packed to the brim with soldiers, ladies, and blacksmiths alike, all trying to flee their once great home.

"Here they come" Rakhelis said outloud, spotting the line of Gold and Red soldiers making their way to the people. Rakhelis held his shield up, ready to take the charging Lannisters.

"Sentinels, advance, hold the line!" The Reyne called out, walking up to Rakhelis' side. "I'm gonna need your help for this, might be able to take out two... If I'm lucky." He whispered to the Dothraki as the moved towards the flood of gold and red.

The Lion charged, hatchet bearing down as he closed in on the Lannister. Just before the axe landed in place, the Lannister raised his sword, parrying the strike. Aeden veered off as the soldier regained his footing. "Shit..." He uttered to himself, then awkwardly block a horizontal slash.

The Dothraki kicked an enemy hard in the chest knocking him down before stabbing him in the throat. He quickly duck when another swung his sword at his head and they began the dance of steel.

As the Lannister went to strike once more, he was met with a sword to the skull, cutting straight through. Before Aeden was the Lance Sentinel. "Stand back, Aeden, let us deal with these fools." The Knight spoke as his blade tore the head apart, all just to receive the blade.

The moment finally came for Aeden, when a Lannister broke through the line, slashing a gap in the Reyne defense. Aeden ran up and implanted his axe into the neck slot between the Soldier's armor. All the Lannister could do was wail as his blood sprayed all over. Aeden stood back, his hatchet shaking in his hand.
