It was 219 AC, during the Great Spring Sickness when a greater tragedy struck the Seven Kingdoms, the murder of King Aerys I Targaryen, his family and most of his court. The next heir is but a child. This time of turmoil and sickness brings chaos to the land, even more with the threat from the rising from East…

With the king day, ambitions rise. Play the Game of Thrones, work your way, rule the kingdom or serve the babe. Remember In the Game of Thrones, there is no middle ground, you win or you die.

This Role Play will be set in King's Landing, the capital of Westeros. You may play your part no matter the size or nobility, as it is a time of chaos.

Some Background Information

The Spring Sickness is an unknown sickness that affects most of Westeros. A man may wake up healthy and die by the evening. There is no cure for this so far

When the Throne room was shut and the blood bath began, the dragons seem to have sensed it. King's Aerys dragon Vermithor burst out of the Dragon pit and flew straight into the throne room breaking past the door. It is said that the Dragon was mad seeing the dead body of its master, it burned the everybody till all that was left was just smoke as ashes.

Ser Aeden

The Knight flew into a rage, his sword held low as he came to the Dothraki's attacker. Aeden shoved his boot against the Soldier's calf, sending the man to a knee, just as the Kingsguard wrapped his free arm around the soldier's head. Without another second, Aeden spun his sword into the downward position and plunged his blade into the Lannister's chest from above, instantly causing a splash of blood to drench both Aeden and the Soldier.

"Get up, Rakhelis!" Aeden roared, pulling his sword from the carcus, his blade now dripping with Crimson. He then went to the Dothraki and hauled him to his feet. "Reynes, we fall back to the keep!" He shouted, pulling Rakhelis's arm over his shoulder for support.

He held onto Ser Aeden for support trying to walk. His hand was a bloody miss, my fingers? Blood obscures his vision. He kept on limping.

Soon the remaining Reyne soldiers were behind the steel doors of Castamere's keep, the sounds of hundreds of Lannister's outside battering against it. Aeden set Rakhelis against the wall in the main hall, before running to fetch the Maester.

"Ser Aeden, you're alive, did we win the day?" The Maester asked as soon as Aeden appeared down in catacombs.

"Aeden!" Juno called out to him, running to his side. "You're hurt..." She spoke quietly, wrapping a cloth around his bloodied arm.

"It's not my blood..." He uttered, turning his gaze to the Maester. "We have wounded upstairs, I can only spare at most two men to assist in their transportation down here." Aeden's tone was solemn and void in any emotion it seemed.

"What's wrong... Aeden... Tell me." Juno persisted, looking up into her brother's lifeless eyes.

The Kingsguard slowly looked back to his sister, his body still shaking from the battle. "... Father... He's..." Aeden started, but dared not finish. As the words hit home, Juno's eyes began to water as she turned away from him, backing away to shut herself away from the world...

"Come Aeden, let us tend to these men." The Maester spoke up, walking past Juno hesitantly.

Kailan crouched to assist Rakhelis, seeing her brief companion as the first to side. She used her sleeve, torn mostly off from the fighting to tightly bandage his hand, to slow the bleeding if anything.

The Reyne soon arrived in the main hall, followed closely by the Maester. "You fix him up, make sure of it." Aeden told the Maester, then set his hand on Kailan's shoulder. "He's in good hands... I need you for a moment, if I may?" The Reyne whispered.

"I uh... Need a moment with my family, is there any chance you could take over the defense in my stead...I trust you can handle this Kailan..." The Knight spoke quietly, doing what he could to keep any signs of weakness at bay.

A moment of clarity came to him. He'd lost his last two finger(ring and pinky) on his right hand. He felt his face, the blade struck from beneath his left eye to his right cheek. He'll live again to ride. Rakhelis looked to the old man tending to him "The others" he coughed "The men first"

"Hush now, boy, the others will be tended to once I've finished with you, I gave Aeden my word." The Maester said, dressing Rakhelis' hand with extra bandages.

"Don't worry my friend, no Lannister would think to try and search these catacombs." The Reyne warrior stated, assisting the Dothraki as best he could. "You faught like a true Lion today, our house will never forget what you did here, you have my word."

"I will stand by House Reyne to the very end, if I have to... Lord Erek saved me from slaughter during the revolts, I lost my family and was homeless at the age of nine... Heh, now look at me." The Young Warrior smiled lightly, arriving at the main catacomb room where everyone had amassed.

"Harr over here." Juno flagged the two over to a small medical area that had been established for the wounded.

Kailan nodded slightly, one short movement before she turned, looking around herself for the first time, quickly preparing a plan in her head. She didn't yell, or call orders, but spoke them in a firm, quiet voice. And they where followed through as if given by a proper leader, and not a woman.

"I know, but Aeden doesn't have many options right now, they can't just leave-" Harr stated, but not before the Kingsguard himself arrived, armor still stained with Lannister blood.

"You good Rakhelis?" Aeden asked, walking beside the two as they went over to Juno Reyne.

Lannister soldiers battered against the Castamere Keep trying all they could to breach the inner sanctum of the Reyne Stronghold. Knights, Swordsman, and Sentinels alike all pitched in to bolster the defense of Castamere, listening to every word Kailan spoke. "My Lady, some Lannister forces are reported to have been attempting to breach our Eastern entrance, how many could you spare in the defense of that location?" One of the Sentinels asked the Martell Warrior.

"No, I have to thank you Rakhelis, if you hadn't urged me to fall back... I dare not imagine what could've happened, for this you have my thanks." Aeden nodded to the Dothraki, then went over to Thalia and his Mother to tell them of their Lord.

"Of course we do, Aeden knows this, but with the reinforcements on their way, we might have a chance at holding Castamere... Believe me, If the Lannister seize control, then the entire land will be just added fuel to their war machine... The army Golden plans to unleash on the capital."

Kailan paused, just for a second, frowning in thought. She looked around, and pointed out as many of the men she knew could be spared to go to the Eastern entrance. It would be difficult to maintain this if they found another point of weakness.

The Sentinel nodded, and quickly gathered the men. Soldiers moved left and right, accompanied with the unending sounds of Lannisters trying to break in. "Mi'Lady are you wounded?" The Maester asked, inspecting her bloodied shoulder.

[Rakhelis]

Harr looked away as he set the Dothraki against a stone bench. Juno quickly went to the warrior, applying a damp cloth to Rakhelis' face wound. "You'll be all better soon, besides women love a good scar on their men, shows they've had their fair share of war." Juno smiled, then offered Rakhelis milk from the Poppy.

"I won't keep you, see me when you awaken and I shall tell you what I know of the whole mess." Harr said, glancing slightly towards Juno, a smile tugging at his lips.

"Yes Harr, but In the meantime help get the other wounded." Juno muttered, almost coldly.

The Maester said nothing further, simply moving on to the next wounded soldier to treat. There was no time for mere chatter in the Keep, not when Lannisters were literally at their doorstep.

"You sound like my father... You sure about this?" Juno asked, showing the needle she was to use to seal the wounds.

Kailan kept moving, watching for weak spots, moving men as she needed. And as she went, her fingers brushed her hip, where the hilt of her blade always rested. It was gone, she must have dropped it in her exhaustion.

"Ma'am, I just heard word that A small band of Lannisters have found there way inside to the north wing." A sentinel said, only just then noticing she was disarmed. The soldier then took the hachet off his belt and handed it to her. "Sorry, it's the best I can do."

[Rakhelis]

"You warriors are all so damn stubborn, you... Fine, you do what you must." Juno grumbled, then went on to treating others.

Kailan smiled a bit at the weapon. "No, I have a knife. You, come with me. Bring whoever can be spared." She said, turning towards the north wing, moving quickly.

He stood up and looked at his hand, he only had three fingers. He couldn't hold a sword like this but...he could shoot arrows. Rakhelis found a bow and some arrows before making his way to the battlefront, to the Lady Knight.

"Where in the hells is he going?" Aeden went to his sister, watching as the injured Dothraki raced for the upper floors.

The Warriors soon found themselves in the Northern Wing of Castamere, where the Lord's hall was. "Where do you think they went!?" Someone shouted, followed by a muffled this.

"I told you to shut it, Barnol!" A deep voice roared a response.

The Knight grabbed hold of Rakhelis' arm and pushed him against the wall, out of sight from any Lannisters. "What do you think you're doing?" He whispered, obviously tense with the situation.

The two warriors then continued until they reached the main hall. The sounds of clanking armor could be heard from just beyond where the Lord sat for trials and other formal matters of the court. "Kailan..." Aeden whispered to Rakhelis as he spotted her party just down the hall where the entrance was.
