For all of you that dont really understand how old parrotss live, even cockatiels, one of the shortest living parrots, Smokey, potentially one of the oldest that I got in the summer of 3rd-4th grade ((was probably a little under a year old))

I got her when I was about 8. Shes currently about 10 years old, maybe a bit older. She will live anywhere from until Im.... 23 up to 38.

I've been working pretty much 4:00 in the afternoon to 4:00 in the morning type hours because we've had a bit of a coyote attack rash here lately. Just so you guys all know, it's hard to aim a rifle in below freezing weather. The trigger guard on my mouser rifle isn't big enough to fit gloved fingers in, so I have my hand right on steel in like 20 degree weather, shooting in the dark
