Hello,

We aren't ignoring the chat bar. We no longer have a good alternative since meebo was acquired by Google. If we find a good replacement for the Meebo chat bar we will consider reinstating it but it's out of our hands at this point since we don't own the underlying technology and Google decided to shut down the service after they purchased it.
