I think it's curtains for SE. 4x06: Elena makes a 'painful' confession to Stefan. The synopsis for 4x07 says that Caroline 'does her best to be there for SE in a tough time.' The still of DE dancing, also makes me suspect SE have called it quits, because I really don't see Elena slow-dancing with Damon like this when they are apparently alone IF she was still with Stefan. Something that is bugging me about Stefan at the moment which I want to share to see if it's just me lol.
Damon is such a good brother to Stefan, and besides from Stefan going to get Damon Klaus's blood, Stefan is a terrible brother.

I've just seen the still for 4x07 and I'm so excited! I know there are fans who have distanced themselves from any type of anticipation because they don't want to be let down, but I think that as long as you just appreciate it for what it is, you're OK. I know the show still has a lot to prove on Elena's account, but it's about the gradual build-up. People expect DE to be built in a day, and when things go amiss, they get despondent. It's amazing how strong & unconditional Damon's love for Elena is. He'll always love her, no matter what she does & who she is. He'll alywas be for her & by her.
