I think the scene in Last Dance when Elena says We won then Damon pulls her hands to his chest and says Yes, We did has a double meaning. I mean, just look at at Elena expression after Damon says it and also he says if after pulling her hands to his chest.

OMG!! Ok, my mom is a Stelena fan, 100%. I have to sit through all the episodes with her bashing Damon even when Damon was going through a hard time in 2x12 and 2x13 all she did was laugh. But today when we watched the Last Dance she was team Damon. She even said "sorry Stefan but you've lost some points" and SHE REPLAYED THE DELENA SCENE AT THE END!!!! Damon & Elena are my life, even through the low points I know that eventually something amazing will happen.. The more emotion we have between them is just strengthening them up to do anything! I love it! They are, unlike Stelena, something that teases you, one moment you think they PERFECT, but really, they're just out of our reach.

That's what I think of all the finale thing. IF, S2 finale is going to end with the same old "I love you so much lovely-love potato Stefan" - "Oh, I fucking agree with you Elena because that's the only thing that I'm capable to do". You can stay SURE that I'll take a break from TVD and see how things will develope in S3.

But this is just an IF, because I want to believe that it won't be like that and S2 ending is the real start of DE and something new.
