And although Stefan's pain was AGAIN dealt with in that scene, we weren't shown him suffering because of jealousy or anything else because of Elena's statement. Her declaration only underlined how happy Elena is with Damon, how deeply she is in love with him, and that he does everything for her. The scene was about Stefan and what happened to him as well as about Delena TOGETHER - their love and happiness, their guilt, ... (underlined through Stefan's "both"). over a year ago
