I was re-watching 1x14 and i really miss the old damon, and that episode was heartbreaking and elena's hug meant so much..anyways i really still want damon to struggle with humanity and elena trying to fix him, i don't want damon to turn into another stefan...damon can be good and bad at the same time, that s the interesting bit about his character so please writers don't destroy that...elena must love him despite his bad side and that's what makes the love story epic... I have NEVER been so affected by a couple as I have been by Damon and Elena in both the books and show. It has been such an emotional rollercoaster with ups and downs, and I have lost sleep and appetite over them. But I will not regret being introduced to TVD, and that means to DE. I HAVE to have hope for their endgame--there is too much evidence that points to it, in my heart, in the books, and in the show. And, the great thing is, I am not alone feeling this. did you see the behind the scenes videos and pictures everyone is in them except Damon!! the episode is going to be full of SE and am sure the only scene we will get is the fight training which will last 2 min and that s all...am sorry but i feel this season damon is not part of the story line, he is like a secondary character and they are neglecting him to allow more screen time for caroline and tyler...am not looking forward at all to this week's episode! At this point in the so called S/E/D triangle if Elena doesn' t give Damon a SERIOUS chance then I want Damon to go back to being the badass, cold, but snarky killing machine he was in S1.He controls himself more in that he doesn' t kill , just because he is feeling emotional, but because he is saving someone,protecting himself or getting info.
He's like an assassin and he uses his beautiful eyes to major effect. More serious,controlled, quiet and stares at you hard.

Not to be negative, but I just read some comments on youtube. From someone claiming to know spoilers. That person said that 1- There is not going to be more DE for a long time. Its all about SE and Elena won't stop trying to bring Stefan back. Her love and caring will overcome any compulsion of Klaus. 2-There is more than just Michael, he will come to town. 3-different hybrids incoming, not wolf/vamp, but vamp with something else. 4-Tyler is worse than S1 Tyler. Sorry a little unrelated but am I the only open who feels as if Katherine was trying harder with Damon to make him fall for her again than she does with Stefan?
Ever since she had realized he is over her it's as if she wanted to make him fall for her again?
Could it be because she realized what she has lost??
Or is it just wishful thinking?

Do you think Elena should get to the same point where realizes what she has lost when Damon gets a proper girlfriend?

I hope this season has some pay off for Damon. Everyone is always mad at him but in reality he is the one saving them all time and time again.
Elena's "Where were you Damon?" shows how much she relies on him. How she expects him to be there for her.
Seeing the devotion Damon has to to Elena and protecting MF then I think it is about time they all start realising how valuable he is too them. And maybe for Elena to accept and admit her feelings for Damon!

guys did you see this new video of ian somerhalder interview, he doesn't seem to be happy with the nice damon lol and he said that damon is not going to stay nice for 80 episodes (meaning until 6 th season), he said he will go back to bad damon but that s what he thinks

(am afraid elena is going to be with him for a while then break up with him and this will drive him to what he was before=switching off his emotions)

Guys I think Stefan will be the jealous one as he was supposed to find out about the kiss. It also makes sense because for the triangle to become more realistic Stefan will have to feel really threatened. Although i don;t understand why should he feel jealous if he's not supposed to feel anything for Elena??
