I was rewatching some S1 scenes. Gosh, they're so freaking meant to be together. I love all their scenes in S1. And I honestly don't care if Damon killed people, turned his humanity off or whatever. With Elena he's always been respectful and very protective. One thing that I'll always remember, to make an example, is when he told Elena that she hadn't to see Isobel if she didn't want to. And Stefan said anything, not very sensible for a boyfriend is it? This is just an example, though.

You know I find kind of funny how we are always so proccupied about the writers, that they are just fooling us and that they love SE etc., when I'm seeing a lot of SE fans (and some DB..) bashing on them, sending them letters, telling them "You know not everyone loves Damon and Delena, not everything turn around them..", they even say that Damon and Elena get the best scenes!
