Ok, I've noticed than whenever Damon is fighting his inner demons.....Stefan isn't really there to help him. However, when Stefan is fighting his inner demons....Damon is always there. *sniff* Also, Stefan only helps Damon when the situation is going to affect him (werebite) Damon was going to die,he'd feel GUILTY,you know the story. I love how far Damon has come since S1. He's been taking baby steps but its big improvement. I don't think he gets it himself also i don't think some viewers get it. In the finale, when he said "He'd made alot of decisions that got him where he is and how he doesn't blame Stefan for anything that happened to him" some people just took that as a speech but it is character development, last year he wouldn't have said any of that. A little off topic but I was watching an old 'Dawson's Creek' episode earlier the ones where KW was still in Charge I have to say I love his writing he always writes his Characters & their stories with such great depth & detail. So much creativity goes into the making of his scenes & especially the special moments that he seems to do with such ease between 'couples' on both 'DC' & 'TVD' I always liked how he had written Joey & Pacey & the same with DE so much thought you can tell goes into them.
