This new TVD & The Originals premiere night promo is amazing!
There are new scenes we didn't see in the first promo and Ian looks... well, INCERDIBLY good. There's also creepy Silas watching Katherine taking a bath and the new images of Caroline and Elena at college made me really excited. No new DE scenes but I think we had our fair share of them in the first promo :D

jp/actors/spoilers say something to manipulate and make viewers believe that's what the story is. viewers fall victim to it. when it doesn't happen, they lash out. an advice would be to roll your eyes at them and be self aware to not fall victim to it. an even better advice would be to not bother with this at all and just enjoy the story in your own way when it comes out. this is the show where episodes like 2x1, 3x22, etc happened. nothing and no one is going to change the story being told. Wait, why is everyone so sure that Damon and Elena are going to break up? There have been spoilers that they will hit normal relationship obstacles and fight, aka what they do all the time! Obviously there will be angst, but I think if they do actually break up it wouldn't be that soon, and it would only be for a few episodes and with reason. Never thought I'd be saying this, but I wish they had held DE off just one season longer. Not because DE is boring (far from it!), but because they had to deal with so much rubbish this season- vampire Elena, the cure, sire bond, no humanity Elena, all those no-purpose Originals, Silas. As much as she probably hates to admit it, Katherine needs Damon. No matter how many times she says that she never loved him, and that it was always Stefan for her, no matter how true that is, she still needs him because he's the only one who actually cared what happened to her.
