The last episode got me thinking about Stefan & Damon's relationship & Dalaric. I LOVE the Dalaric bromance & how 2x20 proved that Alaric ALWAYS has Damon's back no matter what! Alaric is more of a brother to Damon than Stefan. Even in the episode after Stefan pushed Damon away from Elena. Alaric was there trying to help him up see if he was okay. Later on when Damon went to the Grill Ric showed up:

I loved how Elena grabbed Damon's hands first. Normally its Damon who makes the first move this time it was Elena. And when he said He can't lose her, she replied "You won't". Meaning, No, Damon you won't lose me.

If I didn't know about the books I could swear that the show is a love story between Damon and Elena.

The way the story is written really makes me thing they are the endgame right away.
And if they are not no one will have a happy ending!

Even if someone told me this is a love triangle story I would still say yes, but only until Elena falls in love with Damon.

In all honesty I really don't want Elena to become a Vampire this season it's way too soon. When she does become one I do want Damon to be the one to turn her. But right now I like the fact that she's human & Damon's a Vampire it's much more Epic that way & I appreciate that she told Stefan that she doesn't want to be one, Elena is a girl with independance & she's a strong woman. I LOVED the episode. Damon did a stupid thing. But you could literally see the crazy in his eyes as he contemplated losing Elena & he snapped. It's Damon! He is still learning how to deal with love. & at least, he knew it was wrong & regretted it instantly & spent the rest of the episode trying to undo his mistake. He's not a saint (no pun at Stefan intended) he f*cked up. But at least he did all in his power to make amends. Thats growth.

This episode proved one thing - there is no FEELING behind the "I love you"s between Stelena, its just words! she tells Stefan "I love you" without actually meaning it! When you truly love someone you will do anything to spend the eternity with that person. Elena made it crystal clear she's not ready to admit that Stefan is her future, that he's the one who she wants to spend her life with. I think this episode was a big failure for Stelena and a huge step forward for Delena

The reason I don´t believe that Elena will turn is that the writers just don´t have screentime to show how Elena translate. The next episode is about the sacrifice, then there´s someone who will die, they will focus on that and at very last they focus on Damons bite in the last bite.
