I think that if you forget the spoilers for 4x04, it really wasn't that bad. It maybe wasn't the best episode ever, but it wasn't up there with 3x14, which imo WAS the worst, or even 3x22.. I definitely don't think it spells the end for DE, like other fans are saying. How could Elena have got together with Damon in that ep? I think we need some positivity around here.

Delena is headed in the right direction. SE is weaker and weaker with each ep. They are lying to each other, keeping secrets from each other.

Damon is the only one Elena can be herself around. Her so called friend Bonnie is completely judgmental, and Damon is the only one that will support Elena through any mistake she makes. We can see that from just this one ep., 4x04.

@delenasalvatore's articles always have their way of boosting my spirits. Her recent article on giving up on DE just brought clearity to my mind again. The emotion and frustration that has come about with loving DE since season one, truly exploded after 4x4. All I could see was Damon's face and I literally sobbed at the end, like sobbed in grief as this seemed to be Damon's eternal fate. Watched 4X04 with my girls last night and we actually liked the episode. Yeah, Bonnie ruined the moment, but honestly I think Elena's upset wasn't just about the blood, but about getting caught in her attraction to Damon. And as for Damon, he handled himself perfectly and didn't back down when attacked. I partlicularly loved the jab about ripper Stefan and it's soooooo true! All in all, a good episode. So I feel really used right now. The ratings for last nights episode were up because the producers and writers lied to us all and told us it was going to be THE Delena episode of the series so far. That was the only reason they did it and it worked. I was watching the SE woods scene..(yes don't kill me) lol and noticed that Stefan threw an arrow at her when she said she could not drink from anything else except from the vein. I just read a review of last night's episode, and it ALMOST made the episode make sense to me. The person writing the review made sure to point out the fact that none of the sweet words that Stefan says will EVER match the raw connection that now exists between Damon and Elena. Julie plec nd the producers ... Messed up TVd up for me with this episode ... I think because this episode made us realise that the situation is no different to season 1 and neither are the characters way of thinking ...the same shit is happening ,elena hurts Damon , everyone is bashing in Damon despite him always bettering the situation for elena ... the last epsiode left me confused guys.
