I just wanna say, that I'm so happy to be apart of this fanbase with so many amazing people. I know it can get hard at times shipping Damon/Elena with so many haters, and we sometimes get out of hand but it's NEVER to the extent of what other fanbases go to. I loved how when Damon said "I know you love Stefan and it will always be Stefan...", Elena didn't say anything, instead she laid beside him taking his hand stroking it. I think that it means something. Like she almost felt guilty or wrong for having said that because she's realizing that's not true.

I also think that after their long, amazing build-up; Elena will love Damon more than she does, did or ever will with Stefan. Posted over a year ago

I just love how in 2x22 was basically all about damon and elena. Damon searching for elena and elena trying to find damon <3333 and when he was like "i just need to see elena" :( so helpless. and elena breaking a window WITH A CHAIR to get to him... I was on the VD page of TV Fanatic and read their Report Card for Season 2. They listed Damon as best character, praising him for his complexity and Ian on overall performance. They put Katherine as worst character (I definitely don't agree, I thought she rocked!). Best episode went to 'Klaus', best storyline went to the intro of the werewolves (including Forewood and Klaus being a hybrid). Season three hopes are them staying true to dark Stefan, less magic, etc. I loved season 2! Your thoughts? Posted over a year ago

Guys I think that the scene in 2x21 between DE at the cemetry is so underestimate..beside the epic glance that they share, the line "As a human (pointing Elena) or as a vampire (pointing Damon) I love you all the same as I've always loved you and always will."
Was obviously on purpose and it says a lot of things, to me. It's so damn epic. Well, the episode is written by Caroline Dries and Mike Daniels which are DE shippers..but still, once again the epic ones have been DE and not SE. :) Posted over a year ago

I don't know much about the books but its funny when some fans say Damon is just obssesed with Elena and his true love is Bonnie. Love is stronger than obssesion. If Damon truly loved Bonnie like they claim wouldn't that love break his "obssesion"(their words) with Elena?

They just have to face the fact that what Damon feels for Elena is a million times Stronger than what he feels for Bonnie (do he even feel 4 her?)

I love the #3 banner, the one in this new pick for changing banner/motto/icon.. I don't understand why almost everyone voted for the ones with just 2x22 scenes :S Of course 2x22 was AMAZING and plenty of wonderful scenes, but I honestly find the #3 banner the best because is the one that contains the most beautiful scenes and it's even well done. I thought a lot about S3 and what it may bring to us, and my thought is that writers are still going to build them up. But unlike S2 which was full of angst, Damon finding his humanity and Elena forgiving him, this will be IMO different and better. They will feel guilty for Stefan and for the feelings that they just can't deny anymore, especially from Damon's part. And Elena realizing during the season how much she loves him too. So I was watching over some episodes of season 1 and now I'm confused :/ In 2x22, in Damon's flashback, Katherine asked would he miss her when away defending the south. But in 1x06, Damon was back from from the war. Does this mean the scene in 2x22 was prior to 1x06? But in the finale it seemed as if they were together already and in 1x06 it seemed as if they met for the first time. Besides the epic and deep scenes, of course, I just LOVE the way he looks at her and only at her. He has this special look that he uses just for looking at her and it's freaking adorable!
The 2x22 one is my favorite. The first scene, when he came into her room. God, he was so sweet and genuine. He seemed a lost puppy ahah <3 And the 2x17 one, when Elena was signing the papers to buy the Boaarding House.
