That episode was so sad especially at the end :( I don't know if anyone has thought of this yet and my theory is probably very wrong but I think there's hope Jeremy will survive. Vaughn said something like if they give Silas the cure the hunters curse will break and be over. Well from what I know Jeremy was wearing his ring when Silas killed him. But the ring won't save him this time because he's a hunter and it doesn't work on supernatural beings. (Continue in comments section below)... Posted over a year ago

So in order to resurrect Jeremy, Damon will seek help from Vaughn that's why he probably stays on the Island for a bit next ep. And they try to get the cure back from Katherine so they can feed it to Silas, that way the hunters curse breaks, Jeremy is fully human again. The rings power will then work again on him and he will come back to life. I know this is a really stupid idea but I still have hope. I love Jeremy :( And poor Elena can't lose him. It's too tragic. By the way Damon was perfect in this episode. His love for Elena is 1000% selfless, not that we didn't know that already :) over a year ago

That's not stupid! That's actually a brilliant idea. I didn't notice his ring but then again, he had his shirt off. A girl can only be so strong. But I'm also afraid that he's gone for good because this death is supposed to impact the characters and take the show in an entirely new direction and that can't happen really if he magically comes back to life. I hope I'm wrong though and you're right. over a year ago

Why Damon and Elena are endgame: In majority of television shows there's always a special formula for TV couples. Especially very popular couples. And Delena are following that formula perfectly. The writers have given them enormous buildup over the 4 seasons the show has been running. DE is a journey and ultimately a journey leads to a destination. That right there is a journey. An incredible one at that. And it's all leading to a destination, and that destination is endgame. Delena will end up together in the end. True love grows over time just like DE did. True love DOESN'T happen overnight like SE did. There is no such thing as love at first sight like what the writers tried to make SE be. SE was forced love, it was also superficial because for both S and E most of their feelings for each other stemmed from their appearances. Also if Stefan was really Elena's epic love then she never would of fallen out of love with him. And clearly the love she feels for Damon overrides the love she ever felt for Stefan otherwise she wouldn't of left Stefan to be with Damon :) over a year ago
