Did you realized that a composation (music) that was made FOR Damon and Elena that played during "I WILL ALWAYS CHOOSE YOU" was played again in the finale in the bed room sceene, the very first sceene, before the kiss sceene. When they play it another time that will mean that they got their own lovetheme. They used it two times already and it was writen only for DE. Posted over a year ago

I love how Damon has bitten Elena & drank her blood & also fed her his blood. Whereas Stefan has only had a 'taste' from her wrist ; )
It speaks volumes. Stefan has been with Elena for 2 years he's never come close. Damon & Elena aren't even a couple yet & this only makes them even more bonded & closer together. I mean the next time that Damon drinks her blood or she feeds on his I want it to be without force & what they both want. But I still feel that this was important for them <3

I thought this was a cute role reversal of sorts.

In Rose , after Damon kills Klaus and Elena gets swept away by Stefan on her way to Damon, she mouths, "Thank you." and he replies, "Your Welcome."

Then next comes our wonderful Kiss scene. It is Damon's turn to thank her, she welcomes him back.

I can't stop smiling every time I think about the kiss scene. I loved that Elena told Damon that he liked him just the way he is. This is such an important milestone for them because it proves that she can accept the good and the bad. This is what true love is all about!!!

Do you realize Elena really let her guard down when talking to Damon in the last episode? But guess what Damon is still alive and now she has to deal with the fact that she let Damon see how deeply she does feel for him. Its not some platonic relationship, she has strong feelings for him. Also about the perfection that is Damon and Elena. I think a lot of people don't get Damon's character is on a journey so yes Damon this season was hurt and depressed but all this is new to him. He is slowly learning how to accept his humanity and run from it at the same time. It is a constant battle for him. But Damon's character gets the best development on this show. Really embarrassed to say this, but as I am typing, I am watching The Kiss scene over and over, trying to analyze every possible look on Elena's face. Oh I know she feels for him, but her face says everything after he thanks her, she says your welcome, and then he closes his eyes. All of her heart is displayed in her face, and I instantly felt what she was feeling.
