despite the fact that dlena are almost at the best version of themselves, i do think that they still have a little more of a way to go, in oder to achieve the ultimate piece within themselves. they still have a few short issues to work out such as , damon's insercurities, elena listening to damon reguarding her plans, damon keeping his pain from elena, and them showing everyone of elena friends, just how strong, and powerful the delena love really is.
