Here are my favorite:

When Rick tells Elena to be careful where she shine the light and she was confused. Then Damon scared her and call her a scary-cat. I just crack a smile because I knew that he was flirting/teasing her.

My other favorite is when they trained each other. First he tell her that she is sloppy and elena said "Shut up, I'm new at this." then she tried again and fail. Damon said "bam! Your dead." then fake bit her.

I'm so glad we had such AMAZING Delena scenes after the total lack of them in 3x07. I'm still obsessing over the training scene in 3x06 so I was really happy to see another training scene; they were so playful in this one, the way Damon went to bite Elena & how she pushed him away (honestly I'm hoping for more training scenes asap). Can I just say how much I loved the DE and DS scenes this episode! So I think that this thing I seen on tumblr was so true 'Elena is Damon's humanity, and Damon is Stefan's humanity.' In the last scene when Elena said the line about Stefan's love for Damon bringing him back not his love for her, I think Damon was thinking about how it wasn't the same for him. The last scene with Delena in her bed!!!!! Teddy was on Damon's lap!!!! I looooved how Damon was just gazing at her fondly as she fell asleep!!! Great episode. So much DE that was full of meaning. Liked the Stefan/Damon bro bonding and the Original back story. Mikael is very prideful. That is one of the sins right? I want this as PART of S4 Story line. At the end of S3, Stefan is back to normal for like 11 Epi, Klaus is killed, Elena loves Damon too BUT Damon is compelled to turn off his humanity by an Original/Mikael for some reason.
I would LOVE to see how far Elena will go to break through Damon compulsion and how she would react.
I would also love a bad again Damon, but not a random, emotional, anger killing one. He has more of a cold purpose. I am sure Ian would love to go back to that too. Posted over a year ago

Damon and Elena are not just a road block for Stelena. Damon and Elena are one of the few couples that actually have depth being the other half of the triangle. That speaks volumes. Talk is just a bunch of noise but actions speak louder than words. Don't focus on what the writers say just focus on the actual story and IMO Damon and Elena are the true love story of the show.
