Hey, so I don't know if any of you guys have ever seen the SyFy channel's "Alice" (it was a mini-series) but if not, CHECK IT OUT. Because SERIOUSLY, (and me and my friend both agree on this) Hatter and Alice's relationship is JUST like Damon and Elena's, all built on their trust for one another and Alice's journey to save her boyfriend Jack, who was kidnapped. It's uncanny! I think of it like Damon and Elena's soon-to-be journey for Stefan, and I think it's just a wonderful movie as well! Posted over a year ago

When they got on the stage Selena Gomez made a little interview and asked about what's going to happen in s3 between DE since everyone got excited after Elena kissed Damon etc.. I love what Nina said at the Upronts. That Elena due to their closeness may fall really in love with Damon in s3. I don't think that she's a SE or DE shipper, she just has to balance between two huge ships and it's not easy since you have to promote both of them without sounding too pro one or another b/c you would piss people off say a thing, and other people saying another thing. :]

I truly believe his words mirror Elena's situation

IF Elena truly loves Stefan she'll never fall in love with Damon

If she does fall in love with Damon, she'd never truly loved Stefan

You know guys I don't get ppl who say that just b/c S3 is very focused on DE, it's even the end of them. ERRR. Actually as KW said S3 will explore a lot of Elena's POV and the guilt of loving both Damon and Stefan, so IMO they won't really happen in S3 but they'll get closer and closer and Elena will completely fall for Damon, then in S4 I think that we'll see the real triangle starting. Random thought: a few days ago I twittered to one of the new TVD writers, telling him welcome and adding of writing good Damon and Elena scenes. Lol. He answered me and said "Will try :)"
Since even the writers get a lot of tweets, do you guys think that he answered me just for being polite and b/c I've been 'one of the lucky', or b/c he indeed knows the amount of people loving DE and that DE are THE ship of TVD? KW/JP crap on about SE being soulmates but I love how they always give DE the big show stopping moments. We get amazing scenes, blantant parallels & wonderful quotes. I truly believe DE are the big love story of the show. If they weren't why is it that BOTH finales were hinged on huge DE moments. The Damon and "Elena" fakeout kiss & speech in S1 finale was part of the cliffhanger. S2 finale? Oh yeah Elena spending the whole ep trying to find Damon & then the bedroom scene. Nuff said. DE FTW.
