I'm dead: Delena is finally happening and I couldn't be happier! They'll survive this, it's just a bump in the road of endgame!! She's falling in love with him, and it is NOT because of the sire bond, and maybe Stefan finally realized that Damon deserves happiness more than anyone. Everyone keeps wondering how this sire bond with Damon even happened. We know that with hybrids, they become sired because they're grateful. Even if the sire bond story tricks SE'ers into believing that DE won't last, I believe it means the opposite. When Stefan couldn't say he loved Elena equally as a vampire, they should have taken that as a huge warning signal that Stelena had reached their expiration date.
