I mean think about it; after her encounter with Elijah and being compelled would she really go without vervain just because she lost her necklace?
I just watched the DE scene again and at the beginning she's touching her arm and I'm wondering if she could have used vervain on her body? There's a glass in her bathroom and a cup near her bed....

OMG!!!! I am sooooooo frustrated!!!!!
I hate the fact that Damon & Elena r probably never gonna 2 b a proper couple on the show. Sometimes i wish it was Gossip Girl where characters swap partners regularly, that way i would be sure they would get together 1 day.

I'm just praising them so much, because they make our ship!!! Ian and Nina are perfect playing these two characters, and thier chemistry is AMAZING!! :D

I think him saying his opinion and making her forget her memory was a good thing, plus i would love to see the show unravel thier love, and by doing this means that in maybe 2 seasons time if Elena turns into a vampire she will remember what Damon said and thier journey together, she will also have way more feelings.. Omg I absolutely loved this episode!! I loved the brotherly bonding and the scene between Damon and Stefan (I cried there). I realized that what I love about this show is that whoever they throw at me I ship! I loved Bonnie/Jeremy and Tyler/Jeremy. I was thinking at the begining of the Delena scene I didn't think Elena wanted be alone. Stefan dropped the ball here. but since he wasn't there we had the most epic "i love you" ever.

I died with that final Delena scene. I was not expecting an "I love you" tonight but it was such a beautiful/sweet moment. I can't get over how perfect that scene was even though Damon compelled Elena .I think that made me love it even more (one of my favorites).

Holding my breath that the steamy scene Ian was talking about will crop up in the next 2 episodes. If it still hasn't appeared by the time 2x10 airs, then I will concede defeat. I know some people assume he was talking about The Return, but in the interview he was actually asked about Season 2 in general, not the premiere.
