this has to be one of the most beautiful quotes Damon has ever said regarding Elena. There is just so much emotion in that one sentence. That one sentence tells about his love for her and his heartache. Delena may not have had many scenes this episode but in a way this episode has so much DE. Their relationship & bond is present oddly in the way that Stefan helps them realize they need & love each other. Posted over a year ago

On another note: this episode happens to be my favorite by far because it was just so damn funny! && seeing everyone back was just awesome- especially Jenna ( I missed her!) & the episode made me cry so many times. It was interesting to see Kat as the main storyline character instead of Elena for a change. over a year ago

i was kinda liking the changed "better" version of katherine but seems like u can lead a horse to water.... it still amazes me when i hear s/e fans say how they hate elena now(including my daughter..ergo the mind of a 15 year old) yet say how they love elena. so elena forgives katherine on her death bed for everything she did and what does katherine do..hijack her body! but elena is the bitch & katherine is awesome. Hmmmm over a year ago

can we also talk about how this episode was all about shining stefan's halo so much that there was an actual glare coming off my tv screen! don't get me wrong, i like the damon/stefan part & am glad it seems as though stefan is trying to get over elena & understands & accepts that damon & elena are completely in love & is telling them not to give up on each other, but that coupled with stefan being so loving towards katherine when he use to give damon so much shit about her & say things like she was a selfish, manipulative bitch & unworthy of anything to being her defender last night just seemed like a complete 180. i guess he missed tapping that ass! lol don't get me wrong, i prefer a more forgiving less judgmental stefan. it just seemed like all he was missing was the cape in that episode. lol over a year ago

ITA. I also hated how, when Elena was apologizing for judging Stefan for sleeping with Katherine, he was like "that's OK, I forgive you". For your information Stefan, it is completely OK for Elena to judge you on sleeping with the girl who ruined her life, and that you claimed to hate when you were still together. And no, the fact she broke up with you and started a relationship with your brother isn't worse than you sleeping with Katherine. over a year ago

But aside from that, and his glorification of Katherine (which can be put down to fanservice and the DP connection) I quite liked Stefan this episode. I think I got him pretty wrong when I said he's just pretending. I loved the Defan moment at the end. One of the best Defan moments ever, and definitely the best moment in the episode. His words to Damon and Elena were absolutely beautiful. over a year ago

I love how Damon just smiles at Elena in the beginning and Elena asks him what that look is for and he says he's happy. I have NEVER EVER EVER seen him smile like that. Not to any of the women before Elena. He looks so in love and Elena looks so carefree and happy. I'm floating on air guys! They make each other so happy! Posted over a year ago
