I want Damon to decide to skip town after elena is safe from Klaus.
He would have no more reason to stay and he's not a masochist to watch and listen to Se make outs.
Then, Elena would find out and would try to stop him from leaving. While Damon would be packing they argue in his room and then they could kiss!!!
And the screen fades to black!!!

This was total Delena! After the I Will Always Choose You, the scene that really touched my heart and made me fall in love with them all over again, was his reference to the previous decade dance and she said, "and you won." Damon took both of Elena's hands he corrects her and emphasizes, "WE did!" The look on her face was incredible.

Truth Bomb for Stefan: Damon didn't tell Stefan about the plan because he wouldn't have agreed to it and he would've just told Elena anyway, which would've made it less convincing for AlariKlaus. Damon tells his brother that hes OK making the hard decisions while Stefan worries about "the collateral damage." Damon is willing to let Elena hate him, because he knows that he's the one who's actually keeping her alive.

This episode was awesome though. It wasn't so much the scenes that made me like it, it was the quotes (If that even makes sense). Damon telling Stefan that in the end, it's him (Damon) that will save her. And telling Elena he will always choose her over Bonnie.. even if it meant Bonnie dying. You know I will be honest and say that with the DB scenes we got, I was kind of worried that this was the episode that things will start building up for them and the thought of it made me start to dislike this episode, but when Damon told Elena he will always choose her over Bonnie, that right there made me realize that no matter how many DB scenes this show gives us, at the end of the day, it's ELENA that Damon will ALWAYS be in love with.
