^ I think this one it's really related on how Elena makes him feel human and 'weak', you know, Damon's biggest fear has always been feel and care. He's really scared of it and of what it could give to him..but with Elena is starting to be easy and slowly he's feeling again. :)

Ajhgocoglfh oh God one of the writers tweeted me! LOL! I tweeted him that I was glad that he was writing on TVD and that he sent me good vibs (haha I know, but I love stalking and spreading love to the writers as well! I truly believe that Damon is such a beautiful person. He still is but he's hidden it for a long time, but look at him in 1864..he was a cutie, and even a little naive. As i find myself rewatching S1 i cannot how obvious it is that Stefan found Elena intriguing only because she looked like Katherine!

He only stayed in Mystic Falls because of her!!!
He couldn;t have loved her back then, could he??!!!

If Elena turned out to be a bitch he would still fall in love with her because he fell in love with her looks first!!!

Nina isn't the writers, sure she can know how things will progress, but not EVERYTHING and she sure wasn't talking about the endgame.

Well that Nina interwiev wasn´t that bad, she said several times that the writers do want DE be the ones who fans want to have but can´t. If they didn´t want fans to love DE why would they care to make the fans want them even more. They know that DE are the reason why the show is so popular and when they get together it won´t be the same, not because they won´t be a great couple, but we love to root for them to be together and they still have several seasons to go.

I'm so glad that S3 is going to focus more on the actual characters of the show instead of getting caught up in all the 'witchy myth' stuff etc, don't get me wrong that was fun at times but It will be refreshing to finally see the characters really start to develop even further & start to see more on the 'romantic relationship' side of things progress within the triangle between Stefan/Elena/Damon.
