Yesterday my teeth felt a bit weird, like I was about to lose them and today it was hurting a bit, then I discoverd why, I'm holding on getting my first wisdomtooth, apparently it takes time so I'll have to live with constant pain in the tooth for a while now. Also speaking of teeth a year ago I got to hear that I have a risk of getting toothloss (not sure if that's the right name for it, but hope you get what I mean), this means I have to take good care of my teeth *continues in the comments*

The dentist saw that it was bleeding in the part under the teeth (can't remember what it's called right now, but you know what I mean I hope) so I have to use a rope like thing to go in between the teeth (once again don't know what it's called), it has helped quite a lot so now it's no longer bleeding as often, just every now and then. Oh and the same dentist also noticed that I have a birthmark on a tooth which makes the tooth seem like it hasn't been taken care of when it actually isn'tover a year ago
Dental care is highly important! It's a little known fact, but the Pharaohs of Egypt had rotten teeth, King Tut in particular... and they died early because of an infection from bad dental hygiene. So good for you! Keep up the dental care, and increase your own longevity. ;)over a year ago
I just rewatched Aladdin for the first time in years. While I don't dislike the movie, it's not one of my favorites either. The movie is too cheesy for my taste. I thought characters were annoying. I don't like how Aladdin lies and how he treated the Genie. He is so rude and arrogant. I also found Jasmine to be rude an arrogant. *Continues in comments*

Well, I just finished watching the premiere of The Lion Guard, the new Disney Junior show about Simba's son Kion. Ever since I first heard that Disney was planning to do this I just rolled my eyes. But when I heard Kiara was going to be in it, that the animation was 2D, and heard more about the story I became more open-minded, at least a little. I can say that after watching it that it's definitely a mixed bag. *Continues to type in comments*
Posted over a year ago
I guess I'll talk about the good stuff first. The animation is surprisingly really beautiful to look at, especially for a show that's meant to be for toddlers. The voice acting is pretty good, although Simba and Nala sound really different and are pretty distracting. The songs, aside from the one sung by the Honey Badger, are decently good. Nothing phenomenal but enjoyable. The idea and backstory of The Lion Guard and the roar is pretty interesting. Rafiki, Timon, Pumbaa, and Mufasa are in character and remain likable. But that's pretty much all the positive things I have to say about it. A lot of the jokes are really forced and a little cringeworthy, Kion is just bland and standard, the Honey Badger is annoying, Kion's other friends are boring and unmemorable, the villains are generic and have no charm to them, it forced the whole circle of life message MUCH worse than the original ever did, and I especially HATE what they did with Kiara.over a year ago
First of all, why the hell is she still a cub? Kion wasn't in the sequel, so where the hell was he during the mess going on in the sequel? Plus, Kiara is really out of character and actually bugs me. She's now a cocky little brat that looks down upon her brother, can't wait to be queen, and knows where her life is heading. Did they even watch the sequel? Kiara was nothing like that! She didn't know who she was, didn't think she'd make a good queen, was not such a tattle tale daddy's girl, and fought against the mold, which helped her stop a war. This is like how the Looney Tunes show turned Lola Bunny from a strong, competent, smart, and independent female and into a man-obsessed bimbo. Simba is such a stick in the mud and Nala is hardly in it and is boring. So is it awful? I suppose not. But is it good? HELL NO! Is it a harmless waste of time that you can judge for yourself? Yeah, but if you're a HUGE fan of The Lion King trilogy and of Kiara, I say give it a PASS!over a year ago
I agree Kiara should be grown up for heaven they look about the same age maybe she's a little older idk it completely blew my mind that doesn't make any sense and like you mentioned her personality was completely off. Iover a year ago
Whoops I hate it when I accidentally post when I'm not through anyway continuing where I left off I still think it was pretty cute I loved that they incorporated Rafiki, Timon, Pumbaa and Mufasa they're still likeable and no personality changes. I also liked the backstory to the Lion Guard it was very interesting and in my opinion it was believable I could possibly see that happening, the songs were ok not the greatest and finally I loved the 2d animation I'm happy to see it in Disney again with everything now a days it seems being 3D/CGI all in all it was cute a great way to reintroduce the Disney classic to toddlers.over a year ago

Today I finally went to the first Disney Store in Sweden and it was SO crowded, I almost felt a bit trapped in there, but I managed to get around anyway, surprisingly easy to find it even without the use of a map, it did lay far into the mall, but it was on the same floor that I came in from luckily. Anyway I decided to buy some pyjamas sets (there was a 3 for 2 campaign so I bought 3 sets) and 2 Snow White plushdolls a small one and a big one, might take a photo tomorrow of them and upload here

I was really happy that a Cast Member told another customer about the sizes, apparently learnt that I had to probably go up a size from what I usually wore, tried the pyjama sets and the Cast Member was right, I did the right thing by going up a size from usual one (usually wear size S so now I bought size M). Anyway when I payed at the cashier the Cast Member there noticed the two Snow White plushdolls that I was going to buy and she said that she could see that I love Snow White, the Cast Members there all seemed to be very nice and wonderful people, can't wait to go there again and buy some more things, I think it's easily my favorite store now :Dover a year ago

BIG NEWS! One good news and another bad, I guess. Who know Pocket Princesses fan-comics by Amy Mebberson? Well, she was now hired by Disney to draw the first very OFFICIAL Disney Princess comic! The comic will be drawn in Pocket Princesses style, but the plot will be totally different. Since it's official Disney product, princesses won't know each other now, instead they will be in their own worlds. There will be other characters, like sidekicks, pets, dwarves, genies, princes etc.
Posted over a year ago
The first issue will be released in February. I will upload the cover to the gallery. The next good news is that all princesses will appear - even Pocahontas and Mulan! Now, however, there are some bad news.over a year ago
Because Amy will be really focused on this project, it is possible she will need to put Pocket Princesses on hiatus. Another bad news is for Anna and Elsa fans. They will not appear in the comic. Even more, what Amy said about them even suggest that they won't be official Princesses at all. According to her, that's what Disney said:over a year ago
'This is a licensed comic produced under Disney's jurisdiction, so only the Official Disney Princesses count. Frozen is a separate franchise & Anna and Elsa are very definitely Not Princesses. Disney are very strict about not mixing franchises and we gotta play by their rules.'over a year ago
This is a very recent news, so as we can see, two years after Frozen's premiere, Disney doesn't even think about Anna and Elsa as DP, what's more, doesn't even want to mix Frozen products with DP's ones (remember that all DP products with Anna or Elsa we saw so far were released not by Disney Store, but other companies like Mattel, Hasbro or Lego).over a year ago
This seems great! And as for the Anna and Elsa thing, I knew they wouldn't be official. They were supposed to, but as Frozen's popularity grew, their mind was changed.over a year ago
Hmm i feel conflicted about Amy's Princess stuff, I sometimes think she mischaracterizes the characters greatly, but eh, maybe under Disney she'll have to portray more how Disney wants them to be.over a year ago
^Yeah, I said it's possible because that's what she wrote: 'I'm not sure. If I have to put PP on hiatus, it'll be likely due to workload'over a year ago
I saw post from DP Thailand Fanpage and, seriously Anna and Elsa from Frozen are not considered as part of the line-up?

^Because people have told me for almost 2 years that Frozen is the best movie Disney has made in decades... And I believe that other movies were far better in their execution: other movies had a better plot, more developed characters, clever songwriting, a more improved choice of villains, etc. I'm sort of tired of kowtowing to Frozen worship on and off the internet, because it's in every store I visit. People on IMDB.com and elsewhere personally attacked my intelligence early on, for not liking Frozen ( which only added to making me disgusted with this movie). Sparklefairy, I'm glad you love the movie, because every movie should have its designated audience, but please accept that there will be people who really don't feel that way. Frozen doesn't need me to praise it. Frozen has enough praise from the critics and the fans. I don't think it needs much else.over a year ago
^I think that's just most people's judgment (not all peoples). May be they're just only cares with the latest Disney movie (Tangled, Wreck it-Ralph, BH6, etc.) and ignores several old Disney classic movies. Throught I'm a Frozen Fan, I didn't say it's the best movie. Maybe a great movie. You're right actually, there are other movies that more better than it. I can see you're just tired with many Frozen popularity.over a year ago

Guys, I used to love this place but I feel like my time here is up. Those of you who have been around here for a while please remember me as the user I was for nearly two years and not the user I've been this last month. About a month ago was the first time that I truly began to feel exhausted here and that I couldn't express myself even though the club had been gradually changing for months. I was hurt by something that happened recently and since then I've been sort of on edge and I've been...
Posted over a year ago
over sensitive and taking things personally and because of that I've been somewhat aggressive with my opinions lately because I see that apparently people don't mind that a certain other user is so aggressive with their opinion so I thought I needed to be like that so my opinion would be heard and respected. Btw, the user I'm talking about is not anukriti2409. I felt attacked by that user and didn't want to express my opinion anymore but whenever I did I felt like I was being attacked but I'm sincerely sorry because I never meant to make anyone feel bad. I just wish things could be like they used to be and people here would like me again and see me as a kind, open minded user like before and not see me as being just like that other user. I think I should just leave because I don't feel right here anymore, a lot of my friends have left and others no longer seem to understand me or are not as active so sorry and bye.over a year ago
I'm aggressive because I was neglected and abused so much as a child. No one should aim to be that way. I certainly dont. If you really feel like you're being attacked on here then I understand. However, I hope you know that it's not from me. We left off on such good terms, I'm honestly shocked you feel this way and I hope everything works out so you dont feel the need to stay away from this site if you want to be here. I want a strong community just as you were speaking of. I sincerely hope you dont let some of my faults, that I proactively am working on and have discussed with you personally, stop you from wanting to be here. Just be an example and remind us how it's done. :Dover a year ago
I want a good community here but I need help with that. Part of me being here is to learn how to be in a positive community since I'm not used to that. I think your positivity would only encourage a positive environment here and help others like me have an example to follow. The more good people who leave, the less good the place can become so I personally think you should stay unless you really emotionally can't handle it. Just my opinion. You say you can see the good in all people so hopefully you can see the good in whoever you felt attacked by. :)over a year ago
Does people here have always been so over the top sensitive to feel offended by mere difference of opinion? Feeling exhausted, rather than motivated to express and wanting to know different opinions for the first time in my life.
Posted over a year ago
Don't feel exhausted, I'm sorry if I've come across a little over sensitive and to be honest I understand how you feel because I felt the same way recently with another user. I guess I'm taking things a little personally lately after dealing with that user but I never was like that before, sorry again about that.over a year ago
I actually really like seeing differing opinions and anyone who was here before you can attest to the fact that I'm not the type to have confrontations with others or be over sensitive, I've just been feeling very exhausted lately as well and scared to express my opinions and when I do I now feel like I have to be more aggressive to get people to pay attention but I'm working on forgetting my recent issues and being the way I was before and I sincerely apologize to anyone that I might have offended lately. Express your opinions as much as you want, I just felt like you were making ad hominem statements directed at me (again, because of my recent confrontations) but you should not feel that way and I'm sorry if I've made you feel that way because that's exactly how I felt before. This club used to be so nice and positive and I never felt exhausted here or like I couldn't express my opinions, it used to be like a family but things have changed a bit but go on expressing yourself.over a year ago
Sorry I overreacted, I had a bad day and I've frustrated here and I sadly took it out on you because I felt attacked. I understand everything that you wrote and I agree with a lot of it but when I first read it I interpreted your words as a criticism of my opinion and a personal attack, it was a mistake on my part and I'm sorry that I've made you feel bad because I was also just trying to defend my points but I went about it the wrong way.over a year ago
I'm sorry I broke down to call everyone "over the top sensitive". I never meant to. I was very put off with people taking me wrong all the time where I have never meant to. It was simply getting on my nerves and i guess i just blasted it off. I'm sorry as well.over a year ago
But tbh the more I think of it Disney movies in general don't tend to put songs in the third act, for some reason. The only films i'll recall that have a proper song in the third act are Pocahontas (Savages) and Beauty and the Beast (Mob Song). I think you can count Hunchback of Notre Dame as well (Court of Miracles). For some reason the pacing in the last minutes of the film goes by so fast there's no time for a song...Unless you count the Final Reprise Chorus as a song.
Posted over a year ago
^Well, it's the wrap-up song. ahaha That's what I've seen them as. Anyhow...since Frozen had 5-ish songs in rapid succession in the first 20 minutes of the movie, you recognize the absence of songs more in the third act.over a year ago
That's what I was thinking yesterday, it's usually just one or two songs in the last part of the film while the beginning and middle tend to have most of the songs, at least the most memorable songs usually.over a year ago
This will sound weird, but I just noticed how uneven Frozen is in its placing of songs. The first act has like 5 songs in a consecutive manner, two in the second act (but they are properly paced so i can't complain about that), and the third act has no songs. it's a little strange, since the first ten minutes of Frozen have very little dialogue and instead has songs more than anything. it seems almost more like a proper musical than a movie itself.
Posted over a year ago
That's actually a common criticism of frozen, that the songs just kind of drop off after Fixer Upper, so like the last 20 minutes have no songs at all. The whole movie is so disjointed...over a year ago
I noticed that too, it's strange pacing for sure although I didn't really realize it until the third time I saw it and it doesn't really bother me.over a year ago
That wasn't my biggest complaint about Frozen...but you're right. Compared to other Disney movies, be it a DP movie or a non-DP movie...the songs in Frozen just fall off... I just really think the songs in Frozen aren't well composed anyway. So that just adds to this "effect" that you mentioned.over a year ago

I know this will sound weird, but I can't take seriously those Disney bloggers who take those weird "Tarzan is Elsa's brother" theories seriously. Yesterday I saw a guy making a countdown of "top underrated disney heroines" and he started bitching out saying that Jane SHOULD be in the line because she's the granddaughter of Belle and Tarzan is the brother of Elsa. I was really confused at it.
Posted over a year ago
It is so irritating. Like, seriously. Tarzan is not Anna and Elsa's brother, Rapunzel is not their cousin, Belle and Jane are not a family, the ship Ariel found is not Anna's parents' ship... Why is it so hard for people to understand what cameo is? Because seriously, it all started from Rapunzel being in Frozen, but it was just a cameo! Like, even Mickey, Donald and Goofy appeared in The Little Mermaid!over a year ago
I'm just as confused by it...and annoyed that everything is now "centered" or "revolves around Frozen." Can't they just let the movie nicely fade into the vault like all of the others? Good God. The time before Frozen. I really miss it....over a year ago
What is weirder is that Disney has done cameos and the like before, easter-eggs, but only once Frozen came out with the Rapunzel cameo people started going obsessive over theories and headcanons and expanded universes...I mean, these can be fun, but the way some people take these things so seriously it's just...over a year ago
But the director of Frozen literally confirmed that Tarzan is Anna and Elsa's brother. It's really hard for me to believe but I think it was a last minute thoughtover a year ago

I've been praying for you for a while now and now I know you need it more than ever. You have so much going on right now, just one of those things would be stressful enough. You need to get some help. I don't know if you can afford it, but I think maybe it would be a good idea to see a therapist. A therapist is trained to help people with stressful problems and can be really helpful. Everyone here on the DP club cares about you, but we live in different parts of the world and can only do so much. Fanpop is my safe place, but it doesn't help with everything. You need someone who can help you figure out how to deal with your problems and anxieties, along with helping your with your family problems. The stress you have isn't healthy. My therapist has helped me a lot. To the "friends" and family that are unhelpful to you are treat you badly, I say SCREW THEM!over a year ago
To quote Emma Swan from Once Upon A Time "People are going to tell you all your life who you are, but you need to punch back and say NO, THIS IS WHO I AM!" I've seen what things like this have done to people when they don't do anything about it. We may not get along that well (usually it's 50/50), but I've been worried about you and do care. You can't have all of these responsibilities on your shoulders because everyone has their limits. If you need to cut back on some classes and not be a full-time student than I say do it if it'll help. You've been given an unfair life and it makes me sad because all I can do is just type words to help. Stay strong and do what you need to do. But NEVER doubt yourself and please (as morbid as this sounds) don't ever have thoughts of killing yourself. My brother killed himself and it was a tragedy.over a year ago
I've seen and heard about death all this year and I will NOT let someone die if I can help it. This morning I saw this and didn't know what to say but I kept thinking about it all day, even when I had my own school work to do. Stay strong, know that there are people here that care about you, and that both your life and happiness matters.over a year ago
^^@wavesurf & KataraLover. Same, if people ever make fun of you that just because there trying to make themselves feel good. Don't ever give them the satisfaction. I will be praying for you.over a year ago

Can I please requesteveryone participating in polls to share their opinions in comments, whoever isn;t doing so. It helps for later reasoning in the article. Doesn't have to be elaborate. A simple reason would help.

Today I started watching Once Upon A Time, I've now watched the first 2 episodes of season 1 and I'm already hooked, what an amazing serie it is, I rarely watch series, but this could be my new favorite, it's the perfect blend of reality and fantasy and it has amazing characters. I can't wait to continue watching the serie

Thank you guys so much for you latest words, they've been very comforting. I'm just updating you guys on my life (i hope you don't mind). My mother's had another nervous breakdown, in which she doesn't realize where she is or she's speaking about things that don't exist or cries because she got confused with 11 am and 2 pm. she's too young for this, i cannot believe it. my doctor has told me that she needs psychriatic help but she doesn't want to go.

and i'm really all alone in this, i have to do this all by myself, and it's exhausting. my friends and family like to pretend we don't exist and it just makes everything harder. i fucking hate them, my dad, my stupid step-sisters, my aunts and uncles, cousins...they've always neglected and ignored me and left me alone to deal with my issues. i hate them.over a year ago
i don't even know why i have a hard time keeping friends/making them, since all my "nastiness" i keep it to personal stuff or online. when going out with people i'm just quite but pleasant and polite. i guess these folks just find me too "boring" or something, but it's just something that's beyond my control.over a year ago
^Aw. I'm really, really sorry to hear about your mom's condition...and how you aren't getting any help from your family to care for her. You are definitely under a lot of stress. It's hard to make or keep up friendships during stressful times. You should not be so hard on describing yourself. Some of the negative moods you feel are directly tied to stress, and not having any outlet for that stress. Do you know any adults outside your immediate family who might be able to help you and your mom?over a year ago
It's completely fine that you are telling us about this, you need to get it out somewhere. I am really sorry to hear about everything. I really hope things get better, this definitely sounds very stressful to have to deal with. If you have nobody else to talk to about this, we are willing to listen. Stay strong.over a year ago

Am I the only one who just can't make the list of my favourite princesses? Like, I have my top three and my bottom two, but the six princesses in the middle are always switching places, like, I can have Belle on my 4th place one day, but on the 9th the other xD. I think it's impossible for me to choose my favourite from them, I like them equaly. I especially have the trouble with picking my favourite from the classic princesses - Snow, Cinderella and Aurora.
Posted over a year ago
You're not alone! I don't like making lists of favorites either. i just like some better than others. I just know who my favorite and least favorites are. Don't get me started on chosing who my favorite characters are. That's impossible!over a year ago
I feel the same way! i don't think my fave and least fave will ever change, but the middle is so fluid...Like, i made a list for this club a few months ago, but so many DPs have moved up (or down) since then. I might do an article about it...over a year ago
I have not really looked at my list much, lately. I guess my list is sort-of set for right now. But the monkey wrench will be Moana. Based on how much I end up "liking her" it will seriously mess up my list again... I can't say I'm exactly looking forward to the shuffle process again. >.<over a year ago
by tops are usually sealed unless a new addition comes in, then i''ll have to re-evaluate it unless i end up dis-liking her, like wavesurf said. My middle ones dont switch that often but even if they do, i like altering my list now and again :)over a year ago
I should've told you this much earlier, but next Thursday they'll open up the first Disney Store in Sweden and it'll lay a bit outside of Stockholm in a giant mall that'll open the same day, now I don't need to go to another country or buy off the website, too bad it's not so close to my home so I can only go there during the weekends, but I'm so excited for it, too bad I'll be gone when it opens, I'll travel to Istanbul the same day they open *continues in the comments*

They open it in the evening and I go to Istanbul in the afternoon after work, I'll be gone until November 16th so the weekend after that I might go, oh it's actually going to be the biggest mall in Scandinavia with over 200 stores and the name will be Mall Of Scandinaviaover a year ago
Thats great news! A lot of the things I'm obsessed with hardly have any good merch in the US (and theres also the fact that I'm in the closet fan so I never go all out. Isn't Instanbul super far away from Scandinavia? Unless your not talking about Turkey hahaover a year ago
Wait, you're going to Istanbul? Lucky, forget the Disney store opening lol. Actually, the mall sounds cool too, I've never been to a giant mall. Unfortunately I have to drive about an hour and a half to go to my nearest Disney store, then again that store is minutes away from Disney so I shouldn't complain. You're always travelling, I wish I could go to other countries but I've never left the US except to Puerto Rico and that's part of the US.over a year ago
That sounds quite exciting! It's slightly disappointing that you won't be there for the opening, but it'll probably be crowded anyway. And on the bright side, you're going to Istanbul so enjoy!over a year ago

...wow, sorry for all the personal drama. i know people dislike others telling their problems so i just kinda go all "conceal don't feel" with these things, but i think i've been silent for way too long. but i'm a little afraid of opening up because people tend to abandon you once you show them you're not all sparkles and cute rainbows and all.

I don't know when this whole "cooped up" thing started, but i think it was around 2014 or something. sure, i've done some things here and there, but most time i spent inside, and i just feel empty...could Frozen have contributed to this isolation? Meeh could be. i just don't know what to do. in these years i've learned i'm good at certain crafts, but i feel kinda..."trapped", in this.over a year ago
^ I feel trapped, too. Unfortunately, this is a "state of mind" that often becomes a dark cloud on my personal viewpoints. I try to splinter this walled up place in my brain, periodically. But I think I could suggest some things that might help, or at the very least you can always PM me. I might be able to listen, and sometimes having someone listen to you...definitely helps. Oh, and like you, I have "trust issues," too. Experiences are experiences. :)over a year ago
Let's face it: None of us are always happy. I try to keep my problems to myself as well, but it can get unbearable. I'm fine with being alone, even comfortable with it, but after a while, there's a small part of me that wants to enjoy someone's company. Like you, I'm a bit more 'honest' online. I know I'm not helping by telling you my problems, and I apologize for doing so. It's fine to talk about your feelings here. It seems you needed to tell someone.over a year ago
Oh i can give a long listening ear, as long and wide as Dumbo's :D ( no kididng, i'm a good listener). And don't feel sorry for pouring out your feelings, no matter what people say or dislike it or whatever. You needed it, you did it.over a year ago
I wouldn't worry about venting here, people are always using this board to work through personal stuff, and that's great because there's almost always someone around to listen and maybe offer advice. And yeah, a lot of people don't want anything to do with you when you're not "on," so I know how you feel; because of it I tend to bottle things up in IRL too. You know my inbox is open if you ever need to vent.over a year ago
I don't mind hearing peoples problems. I feel like this a lot. I have social anxiety and am always afraid to talk to people, sometimes even with my own parents. I'm someone who conceals their feelings a lot, but Fanpop is the one place I feel comfortable opening up. We've all felt like this, so we understand and just know you have friends here that care.over a year ago
It just feels so much better venting? Because i feel very uncomfortable hiding this. It's not even a thing of lying, i just kinda sorta "pretend" so people don't really start accusing me of being dramatic or something (like, dunno, usually the people i've hung around with leave me when they know about the drama of my family life).over a year ago
I haven't been in a relationship in a long time, and i'm kinda afraid about it. I want to fall in love again, and be in a relationship again, but i dunno...I haven't found someone that I truly like. And i kinda have a hard time finding people since i'm not very social. i mean, i dunno, i've always had a hard time making friends IRL (and i keep most of my "nasty" attitude to myself and the internet), and i just feel very lonely as of late. I want to have friends whom i can go out with and have fu

n and trust over with my issues, but i think the girls i hang around with don't like me very much. often i have to find them to get going to do something, and it's just...i dunno, i live in beautiful city but due to these things i haven't enjoyed it plenty. i spend more time cooped up here more than anything. i also don't have a family in which i can rely on for help or going out, just my mother who's abusive, ill and similarly lacks as well a social life.over a year ago
Just stay positive! Things will come together for you. Friendships can be found in the weirdest of places. Join some clubs at school or find a fun job! I've met most of my friends through work and they're some of the best people I know (:over a year ago
What Uploaded said is true. I'm 32 and have never had a boyfriend. It happens. I share "your disquieting feelings" sometimes. I have two older friends, only two. I don't go out much, unless it's to shop the local thrift store ( which is a solo-activity by the way). Life can be lonely sometimes... But I'm living proof that you can be "alone" and survive the experience.over a year ago
I'm waiting for the boyfriend to manifest...I guess... but I'm not exactly holding out and "stalling my life" simply because he hasn't showed up. Try to find your few "people" who "grin" at you everytime you draw near. It doesn't necessarily have to be family members. Just the occasional classmate you bumb into and say hi. Usually, if you smile at them, they will smile back. Like you, I'm painfully shy unless I really know the people I am around. But go on and do your hobbies-- even if you're solo!!! If you want to shop, go ahead and shop...with or without hangers on. Just "be." You don't have to constantly "fix" yourself to make people love or like you. It took me years to understand that. But trust me, showing some "self-love" helps ease the loneliness away. ;)over a year ago
I think you need people who understand your kind of problems, that always help connect better. Just pour out your words in a journal or internet, that helps emptying lonely feeling too and then you can fill up your day with crazy ideas of "what to do next". Since I never wanted to do engineering, which my mom pushed me into, i was kinda lonely for 2 years in the beginning. Everyone was dating, and going out to clubs, hanging at coffee shop. I indulged myself in my interests - trust me it makes you stronger and lets you have more things to talk about. I went to hikes, camping, read books, wrote online articles, painted, learned dancing and singing. Did photography, cooking, craft-making. It didn't matter i was good at it or not. I just filled up my time. Initially it seems frivolous, and like giving myself a fake hope, but eventually it took my lonliness away and participate a lot in college activities, various clubs help in finding idfferent kind of peopleover a year ago
you'll be ready to make new friends, new relationship once you've found your grounds. I know its tough, being alone, no family, no friends, but make yourself stronger and people will come to you.over a year ago
I'm the same way. I'm never able to talk to people in real life unless I really force myself to and in the process have a hard time breathing. Sometimes I'm even too afraid to message people or comment on wallpost here on Fanpop, and this is the place I feel the most comfortable. I'm not good at making friends either because of how shy I am. Plus I'm too busy with school work to have any kind of fun like that and I live an hour away from my college. I've hardly had much of a love life because of this and the fact that girls just don't seem to like me. Hand in there and know you do have people here that care about you.over a year ago
Hey guys, I think I'm going to take a short break from Fanpop. I'll probably publish an article or two and maybe write on the wall occasionally and answer PMs but aside from that I won't be as active as before. I don't know how long the break will last but I think I need it, I'll be checking to see how things are going but probably just once a day. I'm not completely leaving Fanpop and the hiatus probably won't last for that long but I think it's better if I focus on other things right now.

So, I think it is interesting to note that we may have a 2nd Pixar princess in few years. Nothing is confirmed at this point, just the information that Pixar wants to do a movie connected to Indonesian folklore (just like Merida was to Scottish), and the main character will be female and it would be Pixar's 3rd fairytale after Brave and Coco. Right now they are working on the first versions of the script.
Posted over a year ago
^ Ooh, that's cool. Indonesian culture is very interesting and a lot of people don't know much about it so it's different. Mulan won't be the only Asian princess and Merida won't be the only Pixar princess, sounds good.over a year ago
Overrated Princesses
By Disney- Cinderella
By the fandom: Mulan, Rapunzel, Ariel
By everyone (I mean the fandom, real life, critics and Disney alike): Elsa, Belle
Posted over a year ago
Disagree with Mulan and Rapunzel... they have their decent no. of fans, but i have never heard anyone praising them over the top. They are usually quite averagely rated, imo.over a year ago
@Mongoose: I always look for Jasmine and Ariel these days... Jasmine, because she was the "original slightly saucy princess" and Ariel because "she was the original passionate one"... but they are at the very back on any items.... It's almost as if they are vanishing into thin air, haha. And yes, there is a "segment" of the population who claim to "hate all things Disney Princess related" but still love either Mulan or Merida. Really? That always threw me for a loop... Wait? Isn't that a contradiction in terms?over a year ago
*Rolls eyes* Once again, everybody collectively likes believing that Elsa is overrated just because she was praised over a freaking year ago. Which objectively just is not in the SLIGHTEST the truth. Like or don't like Elsa, she is easily one of the most hated Disney females in and outside of fandom. People just like to push the idea that Elsa is still overrated because people like to feel like special snowflakes for hating her. Either that, or everyone has just been living under a rock for the last year. Are we going to start believing that everyone who was once overhyped is still overrated? What's next, is M.Night Shyamalan overrated because The Sixth Sense was a hit? Or how about Twilight for having fans? Because all of that is just crazy to believe. I respect opinions and all, but you can't tell me that Elsa is overrated when all of the claims that she is never hold up.over a year ago

This would be an interesting point of discussion...Comparisons between Princesses and the villains (not exactly their villains, but the villains they have most in common with personality-wise and the like).
Posted over a year ago
I can't think of any at the moment except that some of them are pretty persuasive like some of the villains but they are so different from the villains to me that it's hard to find similarities but I'm sure that people might be able to find similarities between the princesses they hate the most and the villains.over a year ago
Now that I think about it most of the DP villains have somewhat similar personalities except for maybe Gaston. Elsa has some similar personality traits I guess since they had planned to make her a villain first.over a year ago
Hmm I see some connection between some characters like Snow White-Gothel and maybe Frollo-Elsa, but at least in that they have similar traits here and there.over a year ago
That would be an interesting vein to explore...but quite daunting for a thorough analysis. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, though. It just would take a lot of thought and time to figure out "which princess was sort of like *this* villain." But it would be interesting...over a year ago

Guys, I'm planning on writing a fan-fiction (my first one) that will be unlike anything you guys have probably ever seen on here because it will have a very interesting, dramatic, somewhat un-Disney premise. I will include all the princesses in it. It will be different.
Posted over a year ago
I also have a few articles that I'm planning to write, although I might not publish one that I have planned because it will probably be controversial with some users. I thought it would be a good idea but saw yesterday that some people are touchy about the subject, which I was surprised because I wasn't intending the article to be controversial but I guess I might have to wait a while before publishing it unfortunately. Don't you hate it when you're like "I should write about DP shoes" (for example) but then you see someone say "ugh, I'm so tired of the DP shoe articles" and then you feel like not publishing it.over a year ago
Oh! That's doesn't sound encouraging. If i were to suggest, do post your article. People will say what they will, no matter what you do or not. It shouldn't make you discouraged to speak up your opinions. But that's me. You can surely choose your own way. I understand how it might be, since i contemplated a bit too, when i posted the dislike quality polls and it did cause some ire among fans. but hey, what's a club without some heated discussion happening. Good luck with fan fiction article! Hope to see it up soon :)over a year ago
^ Thanks, I think I might publish it once I finish it although I don't really like heated discussions and don't think they make the club more interesting or fun, that;s just my opinion and I know other people love argument/debates so I'll probably post the article but I just won't get involved in the discussion ;) I'm having trouble starting the fan fiction but I know that once I get the beginning done I'll move quicker through the rest of it so I'll hopefully have the first part published soon.over a year ago
^i didn't mean it specifically that only heated discussion make a club interesting. I meant to say that despite best of intentions, these things do happen. I like the evasive attitude, when one is unable to find any further words to explain oneself :)over a year ago
