Well, last week Tygers_eye told a dream she had, so let's continue that with me sharing a weird somewhat Disney related dream I had. I had a dream that I met Hiro from Big Hero 6 and then next thing I know it, I'm in my living-room and I meet Eris from Sinbad: Legend of The Seven Seas. She wanted me for some evil scheme and I didn't know what it was, I told her no, and she was holding Hiro hostage, so I agreed if she let him go. *continues to type in comments* Posted over a year ago

She agreed but she was holding onto Hiro to make sure I didn't betray her. And again, I asked her what the hell she wanted with me and she never answered. The next thing I know it, the three of us are in my bathroom, there's a Christmas tree, she makes us open presents and drink eggnog, and for some reason, me and Hiro are throwing up. Then I wake up, go back to sleep, I have a dream that I'm 12, get shot, and I wake up. And finally I have a dream about Thumbelina flying through my town with Rapunzel or something. over a year ago

Just search "How to make a video compilation' You can use iMovie or Windows Movie Maker, depends on what kind of laptop you have, obviously. You'll prolly need to use some different softwares, or "apps" from the Chrome Web Store. (I imagine that it's difficult to transport your video on to a cellular device) afterwards to make it look really high tech and like it has good quality.Vivian Vo-Farmer uses Final Cut Pro and her youtube videos turn out amazing. , but she's really great with video editing. over a year ago

Just got back from seeing Big Hero 6. It was a cute movie. Visually gorgeous, beautiful music, fun and likable characters, a rather well-paced story, a lot of great action scenes, and a lot of heart. Since Frozen featured a strong sister/sister central bond, it's only natural balanced it out with a brother/brother bond here. It's very touching though, so I won't knock it. The stinger was cute too. I made us stay after the credits to watch it, so now BH6 is one of my beau's favorite Disney films. Posted over a year ago
Tygers_Eye commented…
My only issue is that, after watching this movie, I realized that animated films starring female leads are pigeon-holed into Disney Princess (or DP knock-off) films while movies with male protagonists get more diverse settings and story-telling. Frozen's "ground-breaking" sister/sister relationship was set in a revamped but formulaic Disney Princess European fairy tale setting, while Big Hero 6 with its brother/brother relationship is set in a multicultural, futuristic, sci fi Tokyo/Sanfransisco setting with an ethnically diverse cast and clever plot twists. What the hell, Pixar (for Brave) and Disney (for Tangled and Frozen)? over a year ago
Tygers_Eye commented…
^ Yeah.... Unfortunately the Disney Princess formula is guaranteed to make money, or at least make up for lackluster ticket sales in DP merchandise sales, so I guess that's how that goes. I've been thinking about this further and realized that movies with male protagonists are always a gamble, because they don't know how people will take it. DP movies are almost guaranteed to do well and always have since Snow White. Cinderella ushered in a revival when Walt was still alive, The Little Mermaid kicked of the Renaissance, Beauty and the Beast was the first animated film nominated for best picture, The Princess and the Frog and Tangled kicked off the Revival, Frozen is the highest grossing animated film of all time, etc. over a year ago
Tygers_Eye commented…
Disney has been making a bigger deal about the whole "princess" thing since they branded it and marketed it, aren't they? Before, they just had a number of really successful princess fairy tale adaptations who starred beloved, iconic female characters who happened to be princesses. Apart from Jasmine hating the pressures of palace life (which is significant to the story), there wasn't much emphasis on it. Now, it's all the characters talk about in a DP movie. -_- over a year ago

I just watched my first episode of OUAT two days ago. I watched two of the more recent ones with Anna and Elsa, and I'm planning on going back to season one and watching the whole series. I've always hated Anna and Elsa's parents. I find them not only stupid, but selfish, uncaring of Anna and Elsa, and mentally abusive. I mean, geez, at the young age of twelve Elsa was already so scared she refused on touching her own parents, and yet they kept brow beating her. I don't think it's wrong to judge a character out of the original film, I do it all the time. It gives more insight on characters and sometimes opens up possibilities for the characters we didn't originally think of when we watched the first movie. =) over a year ago

Some of you might know that a year and a half ago, I read a book called Fairest of All: A Tale of The Wicked Queen. That book was amazing and is one of my favorite books. It doesn't mess everything up like Maleficent does and actually makes it a believable story and doesn't make the queen become the hero. However, I read a book called The Beast Within: A Tale of Beauty's Prince, by the same author, Serena Valentino. And boy is it REALLY BAD *continues to type in comments* Posted over a year ago
KataraLover commented…
I read the book on my mom's kindle and it completely ruins everything the original movie did. First, Gaston is actually the Beast's best friend because he became the beast, but they forget about each other when Beast transforms, which was actually a slow transformation. He was also supposed to marry this girl who was a farm girl and turns out to be the Enchantress who is upset when the Beast rejects her after finding out she's a farm girl. Her sisters turn out to be the three witches from Fairest of All, a pointless and unnecessary choice by the way. And it turns out she was the one who sent the wolves after Belle in the movie to kill her and make sure she didn't break the curse. And apparently she put a spell on Beast to keep him from hurting Gaston to make sure that Gaston could stab him while he wasn't looking. Absolutely NOTHING to do with his good heart, just a spell! *continues to type in comments* over a year ago
KataraLover commented…
The girl also apparently decides to save the Beast and turn him back into a human because she's touched by Belle's love for him. Oh, and did I mention that the servants disappeared and the book is saying that they were all in the Beast's head and they would just turn back into lifeless object instead of the characters we all know any love? The Beast is completely unlikable, Gaston and the witches are pointless (besides Gaston in the climax), it's rushed, they ruin the charm the original movie had, they don't really go into Beast's back story on why he became the spoiled and selfish person he was, and they just make the Beast look despicable. They could have gone into being ignored by his parents so he became cruel because of it. over a year ago

I just got back from seeing Big Hero 6 and I promise this will be a NON-spoiler review of it. The characters are all great, except for the villain and Fred. Anyway, my favorite character is Hiro, even though it's kind of pointless to have him in a super-suit because he doesn't do any fighting like the others. Why didn't he give himself weapons *continues to type in comments* Posted over a year ago

But with that aside, both his character and voice is what Hiccup from how To Train Your Dragon should have been. He's interesting, has some emotional baggage, is smart, was kind of a trouble maker at the beginning, and was kind of dark for a Disney hero. Without giving too much away, he wants revenge for his brother's death and was even willing to do something that was really, I'm not sure how to say it, but it's dark. I like when a character can go dark like this because it shows that the character is human but he realizes he shouldn't have done what he did. Speaking of the brother, he's great, and their relationship is just incredible. It's so heartwarming, realistic, strong, and heartbreaking at the same time. The rest of the team were great too. But there are so many things that need to be prayed for that you can't get through them all in just one night. So summing it up like that covers everything. I mean, if we prayed for everything in the world that needs to be prayed for, we'd be up all night and never get any sleep. Why leave out important things when you can sum it up? Besides, there are some form of suffering in the world that I don't know about, so by summing it up it also includes the suffering that I don't know about. It is better to get to the point and make sure you are able to help everyone, instead of just being specific by praying for certain individual things of people suffering when you know you can't talk about everything. I prefer to know that I'm praying for everyone in the world. over a year ago

I know no one will read this but I'm going to say it anyway. This is my point of view on John Smith. Much like Ariel and Elsa, people seem to either really love or hate him. I've heard people say that Mel Gibson's racism comments and the fact that the real John Smith was horrible are what ruins the character. But this is an animated adaption loosely based on history. So what the real John Smith isn't relevant to the one in the Disney movie AT ALL *continues to type in comments* Posted over a year ago
KataraLover commented…
As for the Mel Gibson thing, I hate him too but he gives a good performance and I can ignore him. If the voice actor, despite what they do in real life, can still give a good performance in a show or movie, than I can look past the character. It's not like the character is Mel Gibson, he's just voiced by him. People also say that he's racist at the beginning and he is but he changes and a lot of people were racist back then. He wasn't even that bad. So I thought that all the criticisms about him were just nitpicking. But then I remember a point someone made, that he's murdered many Native Americans in the past like it was nothing. I have to admit that that's a good point. Although, it's kind of confusing when he tells Pocahontas that they've improved the lives of "savages" all over the world. Many it's confused writing or he's just a filthy liar. It would have been more forgiving if there was a scene where he regrets his past *continues to type in comments* over a year ago

So, why do I still enjoy him? Well, like I said, he changed and wanted to help Pocahontas bring peace between their worlds. I also love how selfless he is by jumping into the sea to save Thomas, telling Thomas to leave and taking the blame for Kocum's death, and saving Powhantan's life. He's also kind, brave, smart, adventurous, strong, heroic, and is a great character in my opinion. I will admit it was shallow not to kill Pocahontas just because she's gorgeous but I think his good qualities outweigh the bad and he does change. over a year ago

His character development is rushed and not believable at all, though. And him killing Natives around the world is obviously a horrible thing to do. Just like Mulan, Pocahontas is one of the only Disney Princesses I think are impossible to find to be a bad role model. I mean, she doesn't choose the guy over her tribe and people. If they think she's a bad role model than clearly they're just looking for something to criticize about *continues to type in comments* over a year ago

Unfortunately, now it's time to get to the problems. The villain is lame and I'm not sure if they could have had a better villain for this story, unfortunately history has a lot of idiots, not that this movie is historically accurate by any means. Also, I don't give a crap about the historical inaccuracies. If people actually think Disney is supposed to teach the kids than America is even more hopeless and stupid than I thought. But I digress. Pocahontas' father, is way too mean spirited by telling his daughter she has shamed him and that because of her Kocum is dead. That's too mean spirited and I don't care what time period or culture it was. That doesn't make it right. Anyway, it has some plot-holes, like how can the whites and Native Americans understand each other when it was made clear when John and Pocahontas first met that they couldn't? I still remember how happy I was when my teacher told me I should be a writer and went around the school showing my story off to everyone slapping stickers on it. Last night I had the most bizarre dream that cruella ran a (really nice Disneyland Main Street / 1950's) Ducktales-themed ice cream parlor , which many of us DP fanpop users frequented and hung out at. However, some jerk opened a Frozen-themed ice cream parlor just across the street, which stole a lot of business. Since they're both owned by Disney for selling their characters' likeness, we ended up going to them to start evening out the character presence in each one to get more even business. By popular demand, I just finished watching Atlantis: The Lost Empire. I thought, while it could have been a lot better, that it was a great movie. The animation is beautiful, the characters are all fantastic (except the villain, Kida's dad, and Milo), the score is phenomenal, the action is exciting, it's interesting, and the climax is suspenseful. Kida, is my favorite character. She's a lot like Katara from Avatar: The last Airbender. *continues to type in comments* Posted over a year ago

I admire how she wants to do what's best for her people and restore her kingdom to it's once great glory. But she's not jsut a serious stick in the mud, she's mischievous and fun-loving. So where does the movie fall flat. First Milo isn't very interesting. I'm sorry to his fans but he's very boring, bland, and I hate it when adults or teens try to act cool, which he does. I'm more lenient when a little kid is doing that because it's typical for a lot of kids and it's kind of cute. But when a teenager or an adult is doing it, I just want to slap them and tell them to grow up. But he's not a bad character, he's just not all that fun or interesting to watch. Another problem is the villain. I'M FREAKING SICK OF THESE VILLAINS *continues to type in comments* over a year ago

It's the Pocahontas and Tarzan villain all over again. Someone who is just motivated by greed and isn't an interesting villain at all. Why does this guy need to act evil? He's freaking going to be rich anyway, he found a freaking lost civilization! WHAT MORE DOES HE NEED? IT'S JUST SO STUPID! It's also kind of trying too hard to be an adult film that it kind of ends up being kind of clunky and rushed. For this to work they might have needed it to be a live-action film that was allowed to be 2 and a half hours long or just went ballsy and just became the first animated movie to be 2 and a half hours long. But you know they're not gonna do that. Another thing is that the romance between Kida and Milo is not very interesting. They just seem like good friends to me. over a year ago

When I read the Disney Wikia, I found that Jennifer Lee said that Elsa was born on Winter Solstice, which is around 21st December in Northern Hemisphere while Anna was born on Summer Solstice, which is around 20th or 22nd June. The movie takes place in July and 21-year-old Elsa is coronated. So, is it technically Elsa is 3 years and a half older than Anna or 2 years and a half, which is making her 20 years old in the movie (because she has not yet birthday during the coronation day)? I just finished watching Sleeping Beauty and I will admit that it is a good movie but not a great movie. I like it but i don't love it. I guess, to be fair, I should talk about the good stuff first before I get to it's problems. The songs are pretty good, not among Disney's best, but they are still pretty good and Once Upon A Dream is the only memorable one, even if it's not my favorite. The fairies and Maleficent are the best part of the movie! *continues to type in comments* Posted over a year ago
KataraLover commented…
They're what make this movie! The fairies are like, the original Golden Girls, which is an amazing show by the way. But I digress. They have distinct personalities and are dynamic, not the same as one another. Maleficent, while her motive isn't very strong, what makes her awesome is how badass and cruel she is to achieve her goal. The lengths she'll go just for that stupid motivation is really impressive, but when she finds out she wasn't wanted, she doesn't get mad openly but instead acts calm and levelheaded to fool her enemies and then reveals her true colors. That's freaking amazing! The score is also really good, nothing that special, but it's still really good and has some really impressive moments. now it's time to talk about the things that don't work. *continues to type in comments* over a year ago

I like Aurora okay but she is so boring. I don't mind that she's passive or gives up her happiness for her kingdom, that I actually kind of admire. She does have some personality, not a lot, but some. I don't mind her being a damsel in distress, which she isn't even that much of a damsel. She is charming but her problem is that she's boring, generic, and a stereotypical princess. Her lack of screentime doesn't help because they should have done all they could to make her more interesting. But at least she has some personality, even if it's not a lot, unlike Phillip, who has absolutely NO personality. He's MUCH more boring than Aurora is! At least she has an excuse for not speaking in the second half, she's put to sleep, this guy doesn't have another line after "Goodbye father." And it's really the fairies that save the day because they keep on helping Phillip every step of the way. *continues to type in comments* over a year ago

Found out that Moana is supposed to be a Polynesia set film. Polynesia is an island located close to Australia, and consists of Polynesians. They're islanders, with fairly tan skin. It's shown in a lot of pictures of the men having tattoos, and the women wearing coconut bras and grass skirts. (Cute, right?) Then again, a lot of them are nude, or partially clothed, so I'm wondering how Disney's gonna play this one off. Posted over a year ago
Diazdiaz95 commented…
Actually Polynesia is an entire subregion of Oceania that consists of over 1, 000 islands. People from several Pacific island nations are considered Polynesian. The culture is quite fascinating although, like you said, the ancient Polynesians and occasionally some today don't wear a lot of clothing, of course Disney is known for changing around traditional outfits since most if not all of the princesses have historically inaccurate clothing. Can't wait for Moana ! over a year ago
Tygers_Eye commented…
To be fair, most mermaids of folklore swim around naked too (including Hans Christian Andersen's Little Mermaid), but of course Disney's not going to show that on screen. They gave the mermaids tactful seashell and starfish bras most of the time, and tastefully covered Ariel's nudity when she became human. While real-life historical Polynesians might not always be or have been fully dressed, Disney's not going to stick to historical accuracy here. (Heck, they couldn't even stick to historical accuracy with Pocahontas.) over a year ago
Tygers_Eye commented…
As for what she'll wear, I can't comment. Some posters/concept art show her wearing a coconut bra and grass skirt, some show her wearing a white dress. Maybe she'll wear different outfits over the film. Maybe they changed between now and when they made those posters. Early Frozen concept art gave all the characters accurate Scandinavian outfits and those were all GONE by the time the final film came out. I think it's too early to tell. over a year ago

So if Anna didn't put Hans in charge of the Kingdom, then who would she of put in charge? Posted over a year ago
Aang_Lite commented…
A servant? Who knows. The movie never tells us who ran the kingdom before Elsa took the throne, despite the fact that there should have been a steward of some sort. If we're gonna talk realistically, she should have stayed there and took care of her people, and sent guards to go after Elsa. It's one of my major issues with Anna, even though I love her character, that she would just abandon her people like that. At least Elsa knew she ran the risk of hurting everyone. over a year ago
Tygers_Eye commented…
Realistically there should have been some kind of regent who ran the kingdom while Elsa was still underage and reclusive, then stepped aside when she was old enough to be coronated, then still been on stand-by after Elsa ran away. Or, failing that, maybe royal advisers, a steward, distant noble relatives who would have been next in line of succession within the kingdom, etc. I can think of plenty of people within the kingdom who would have more likely taken the reigns over a complete foreign stranger. over a year ago
Onyxis commented…
^I expected the Duke of Weselton to be the regent before I saw the film. I am actually happy that was not the case since it would have been cliche. But I feel Hans should have had a legitimate claim to the throne (He could have been a distant cousin of Anna and Elsa's but I think American's would have disliked that so maybe not). But I would have like that the regent had been shown. Anna's recklessness with Hans would have been more obvious (in hindsight) if the regent was some cabable over a year ago

While it's very admirable what these women did, it really doesn't have the fairy tale feeling in my opinion. They where all amazingly confident women who knew what was right and took up arms to support their cause. But in order to get a character based story out of them, I feel like they woul have to change them into much less confident women, that way we could see the character progression to that state. And I'm not sure that would be right, considering these stories are based on real people. I'd argue the first one is Cinderella since the Fairy Godmother helped Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty since the three good fairies helped Philip save Aurora, then later Brave since Merida saved Elinor from Fergus, then soon after Elinor saved Merida from Mor'du. I think it's important though because most of fiction involves mostly male characters, where female characters are helpless damsels and love interests who need to be saved by male characters. I like seeing fiction that celebrates non-romantic female/female relationships (sisters, mother/daughter, grandmother/granddaughter, platonic friends, etc), and show that women can help each other too. over a year ago

The song even has a line that sounds similar to that with "I don't care what they're going to say! Let the storm rage on! The cold never bothered me anyway." Plus having her know that she cursed the land with an eternal winter and did it on purpose wouldn't make her look stupid and oblivious like the movie makes her look by not knowing the obvious. She didn't even have to always be a villain. She could have just started the way that she did in the actual movie, people think she's a monster, she becomes a villain, and thanks to Anna, becomes good again and faces her problems. That would make her more complex and a unique Disney Princess or Disney villain. The only Disney villain who reforms is Silver from Treasure Planet. Why not have a Disney Princess character like that? I really hate to rant about this but I just had to say this. over a year ago

I agree with you 100%! The idea of having a villain conflicted between a bad past and wanting to turn to vengeance but still having something in her reminding her of Anna would have been a brilliant idea. I wouldn't want it to be a monologue turns her good thing, but more of a turning point in the movie or something really thought provoking they could have added to turn Elsa good. And with the way she acts, if I decided to create a countdown of my smartest princess, I would probably make her first. Naveen is amazing too. Suave and arrogant, but lucky-go-happy enough that it makes sense for him to have the change of heart. And a hard worker too! Just goes to show you how much nurture really does effect a person. The side characters are amazing too. And Ray, I love this character. he might even be above Maximus for me in terms of side characters. over a year ago
Aang_Lite commented…
Best of all though is the story line. It still manages to be a fairy tale while also bringing some incredible realism. Like the fact that Ray dies. In fact, I think that Ray dying is what really makes this movie so wonderful for me, as heartless as it might sound. His death is what really made the happy ending so wonderful, because it showed that even if there are all those "trials and tribulations" you can still have that happy ending. Just wonderful in my opinion. Oh! And I love the fact that even though he was a Prince and she a Princess, the two of them still worked together to create the restaurant, through their own hard work. Just amazing. Now that I've seen this though, I probably should watch all the other movies. Who knows what I might have missed! over a year ago

Just put a sign on your door saying "No candy here" or something, instead we have to go down to the lobby and they hand us really cheap candy. Nothing like chocolate or something that tastes good; it's mostly mint chocolate and hard candy. Call me greedy but hey, this is the spirit of Halloween. We dress up in costumes and knock on our neighbours' doors' saying a phrase we always say, it's just not fair to take that away. Ironically today, I watched three Disney movies and one Halloween movie. The Halloween movie I watched was Paranorman. First of all I have to say this. THE MUSCULAR GUY IS GAY? I did NOT see that coming! I'll give the company who made this movie this, they sure have balls! Now to the actual story itself. Much like Arthur Christmas, this movie really surprised me, even though it had plenty of moments that made me cringe. *continues to type in comments* Posted over a year ago

Norman and Aggie are my favorite characters in the movie. They're so deep and kind of complex. When I learned more about Aggie, I kept thinking that this is what Elsa should have been. Someone who was misunderstood, became a villain, caused suffering, and thanks to a goodhearted person, was able to "let it go." The grandma character, though minor, is also really great and so is the mother. The uncle character was okay but really weird. The zombies, I should hate but they're really remorseful for what they did but I can't bring myself to like them. Everyone else, especially the dad, is ANNOYING! Talk about an irritating cast of characters that really makes me want to hate the movie. The dad is even more despicable than the dads from How To Train Your Dragon and Chicken Little, and that's no easy accomplishment. Some other things that made me almost hate the movie was the horrendous humor that made me keep on slapping my forehead from how terrible they were. *continues to type* over a year ago

There are two arguments I've heard that are technically Disney Princess related that I'm going to address. First is that Disney can't adapt the actual story of The Snow Queen because they made Frozen, that argument is wrong. Disney made two adaptions of Treasure Island. One was a live-action movie that actually followed the book and it's style and another that's Treasure Planet than did in space steampunk, which was weird. *continues to type in comments* Posted over a year ago

So Disney could made another animated version of the Snow Queen but actually make it about the actual source material. Or do a live-action version of it and again actually follow the source material. The second argument is how Tangled shouldn't have been in 2-D because Rapunzel's hair wouldn't have bee as amazing. A few weeks ago I proved my point with Frozen's snow and everyone seemed to agree with me. However, this one is actually a VERY SLIM argument because I just have to say, look at Eris' hair from Sinbad: Legend of The Seven Seas. It's freaking phenomenal! over a year ago

Silverrose1991 Stop making a mountain out of a molehill. Tygers_Eye My point with the Snow Queen is that it's not impossible. I just finished Enchanted and I have to say that my opinion on it has changed completely. It might even be in my top 50 favorite Disney movies. I just have to decide between it or Oliver and Company for the 50th place. The animation, when it's actually animated, is GORGEOUS! I actually even like Giselle now, though I'm disappointed now that I don't have my least favorite Disney human heroine as my most beautiful Disney heroine, just one that I used to hate *continues to type in comments* Posted over a year ago
KataraLover commented…
But I digress. Giselle and Edward are really funny, they cracked me up several times. I also think that Giselle is pretty well-developed but I still stand by my belief that she's the biggest damsel in distress in Disney history, even after she changes. With Nancy, I'm starting to hear more of Elsa's voice, which I actually never could hear before with Idina Menzel, except when she sung. The characters are pretty likable, except for the villain, who is actually a really lame and stupid villain. Why didn't she just kill Edward to make sure she would keep her throne instead of just killing a maiden he feel in love with or keeping him from meeting his true love? What sense does that make? Also, why does she still want to kill Giselle during the climax? She doesn't love Edward and she knows it, so just kill Edward, who she should have gone after to begin with! Plus when she's making every fairy-tale remark during the climax is really annoying. *continues to type in comments* over a year ago
KataraLover commented…
Giselle and Robert actually have a believable chemistry and the fact that their opposites has them work off each other really well because they fix each others flaws while keeping true to themselves. Giselle is also a really good motherly figure to Morgan. I love Pip, but only when he can't talk. The humor is actually really funny and the songs are fantastic. But what I love most of all is how it shows that life needs a balance between reality and fairy-tales. It's great how reality forces it's way onto Giselle and Edward but I also love how they can force their fairy-tale view onto reality. Like how Giselle got animals to help her clean the apartment, which is comedy gold. But I also love how it teaches how life needs some fantasy in it. Because of Giselle's fantasy point-of-view, she saved two people who loved each other from getting a divorce. *continues to type in comments* over a year ago
KataraLover commented…
Giselle actually doesn't do much of anything heroic. All she does is stab Narissa in the tail and save Robert from falling. It was Pip who defeated Narissa and Giselle always constantly had to be saved, both in animated and live-action form. Even when she changes she has to be saved and doesn't really become as badass as people say she is. She's more of a damsel in distress than any of the Disney Princesses, even though I don't even think the Classic Disney Princesses are really that big of damsels. Giselle only has one heroic moment and it's not even that impressive, especially when you compare it to the fifteen or twenty times she's had to be saved in the movie. over a year ago

I just finished a total MUST SEE classic, The Tigger Movie. It's very emotional and makes Tigger a very deep character who is sad because he's alone and doesn't have a family. It must feel terrible to be the only one and Tigger realizes it. But this story sends a really powerful message about, in a matter of speaking, that blood doesn't make a family, love does. We all know the characters and they're great as usual, my favorite is Tigger. Rabbit was annoying at the beginning but close to the end he's a lot better. What saves him is that he agrees to go and find Tigger, he puts coat on the freezing Piglet, and when the wind blows Eeyore away he saves him. It's things like this that make Rabbit a great character, despite his flaws. The brotherly relationship between Tigger and Roo is so heartwarming. Be warned to the really sensitive souls *coughs*MalloMar*coughs* that you will be crying quite a big from this brilliant movie. It is truly amazing and I couldn't recommend it any higher if I tried! Movies that are based off emotions rather than logic. You know that it doesn't make sense but you still enjoy it because you know it's not trying to be a logical story. If this film was trying to be a logical story than it would be bad, but it's not. It's based off a children's book that doesn't rely on logic but more on what your emotions want. It's even aware of how silly it is when James makes his speech about how maybe it started out as a dream but that everything does. It shows that no dream is impossible, no matter how ridiculous it seems. The main character is a lot like Alice, Dorothy, and Cinderella, and just like them, he's just so likable. *continues to type* over a year ago

I know I've asked you this before and you aren't answering me...can you please tell me if you are Arendelle or not? When you came she deleted her account, your lists are extremely similar, you both made a lot of wall posts, and you both were trying out for Peter Pan or something like that. I could be wrong, but I'm just curious. over a year ago

I just finished watching The Nightmare Before Christmas and is was awesome. I love the songs, the story is entertaining, it has an interesting set-up, it has a real charisma, and I love Sally, Zero is also kind of cute. However, a big problem with the movie is the rest of the characters. OH MY GOSH ARE THEY ANNOYING! I have mixed feelings about Jack because his sadness and kindness is enjoyable but he just thinks he can take over someones holiday and kidnap them. *continues to type in comments* Posted over a year ago

WHAT THE HELL? The romance between him and Sally isn't all that interesting, it's okay. I'm not even sure if this movie will make it into my top 50 favorite Disney movies because it's hard to get invested in it when there are only two characters I like. Im not a fan of claymatiion, it looks really ugly to me, so that's another problem with the film. But it's still pretty awesome. over a year ago

I'm glad one of your reasons for not liking it was, "it's creepy," or, "it's for emo's and goths and since I'm not one it's not enjoyable," or it's 'too dark." You had legit reasons for the disliking. I myself am kind of "dark," and listen to screamo and metal, so seeing that you didn't bash it because of those reasons made me smile. But I can agree on the romance part. It wasn't completely developed, just kind of thrown in. over a year ago

I just watched a Disney movie that I bought today, which is a movie not too many people think of, Ducktales The Movie: Treasure of The Lost Lamp. I have to say that the beginning when they're on the adventure, it's amazing. When they go on their mission close to the end and all the way to the end, it's amazing. In between it's just good, not amazing. It just really didn't capture me the way the beginning and end did. That's the weak point of the film *continues to type in comments* Posted over a year ago

Also, it unfortunately doesn't have the heart or great animation that A Goofy Movie had, which is an amazing movie. So it's a good movie and maybe even kind of great, if that makes sense. I do like the characters. Scrooge is a pretty unique and complex character, Webby is adorable and so sweet, the boys are pretty cool and likable (even though most people don't seem to like them), and the rest of the good guys are likable. I do kind of have a soft spot for the movie because I remember pretty much always watching it when I would go over to my grandma's house. I was hoping it would make my top 50 favorite Disney movies list, but it sadly doesn't. But it's still worth a watch if you haven't seen it. Plus that AWESOME theme song is in the end credits! Now The Nightmare Before Christmas and James and The Giant Peach are next on my watch list. I just gotta figure out which one to watch first. over a year ago

Hey guys, I haven't been on here for a while. I miss you all. I just wanted to say that I will only be on here a few times a month to run my contest on the Disney Fairies Movies club as well to hang out and debate. It's just been hard to keep up. I haven't lost interest in Disney. I just have high school to worry about and college. I will always love my Jasmine though. If anyone wants to say anything bad about her, call me! ;) Posted over a year ago

I am seeing rogueslayer's icon next to your post! Basically the same thing happened to me (a different icon, though), so this must be a glitch in Fanpop. And I'll miss seeing you around, Gabrielle! over a year ago

Aww, I'm really going to miss you! You are one of my favorite users here and one of the few big Jasmine fans here other than me. I'm really happy that this isn't one of those "the club isn't what it used to be" posts and you aren't forgetting Disney, I understand that you are getting busy. Anyway, I'll miss you Gaby! over a year ago

I really need to stock up on my Disney DVD collection...so far, all I have is The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, and Alice In Wonderland. I'm gonna try to get Frozen, since it's probably still popular and in stores. I also wanna get the Soundtrack CD, but I know those two together might cost a lot. Huff Posted over a year ago

I used to have a bunch of them including direct to DVD sequels. My collections gone from about 50 Disney movies to 12, mostly because I don't like Disney as much as before. I've been getting rid of a lot. Also I was recently at target Frozen has gone down in price, if you live in the US it's about 15 dollars now on DVD, I think for the combo pack it's still $29.99 and blue ray is $24.99 so it's not as expencive. I'd give you my Frozen, but it won't go through the computer screen. X3 over a year ago
