Well, the time of year has come again when I can't eat or drink from dawn to sunset for a month. You guessed it, the Muslim fasting month! I just rewatched Mulan 2 and I feel depressed knowing how terrible it is. Honestly, they just trashed the original. The original had such a nice smooth flow and didn't have dialogue that went overboard with trying to convey what a character is trying to say. I felt the facial expressions were a bit overdone at times and they destroyed Shang's original personality! I'm giving you guys a review/update about something rare, a new Disney Channel show that's actually good. Girl Meets World, a spin-off of Boy Meets World about Cory and Tapanga's 12 daughter, Riley. I've heard mixed reviews on Maleficent. On the one hand, if you watch it alone and don't compare it, than it's an awesome movie on it's own with a cool twist and Maleficent turns out to be a good person. On the other hand, if you compare it to SB than the story is changed too much so it's not so good. I haven't seen it yet so I can't really say. But I've had writers block for a long time and haven't written a new chapter since Christmas break so I've only made 18 chapters. ⊙_⊙ OMG guys, I had no idea how horrible the Spanish translation of Poor Unfortunate Souls was. Actually, the whole movie was just weird in Spanish, the songs had some issues and sometimes the singing didn't even match the music. Well, that's two movies so far that I've seen with weird Spanish dubbings, Pocahontas was also weird. My sister was watching Frozen in Spanish yesterday and that one was actually good at least. I just watched The Fox and the Hound after ALL these years and man, it was BEAUTIFUL. Such a great message for kids through a so sweet movie... Has anyone ever thought that Anna is just Giselle in Jane's body set in CGI? I don't know how, but it came to mind. Then again also think Elsa and Anna are just Periwinkle and Tinkerbell. And Jack Frost is equvilant to PeterPan. So Elsa, Periwinkle and Jack VS Anna, Tinkbell and Peter. I just saw something SO SAD and yet beautiful! Apparently a few years ago Miley met a little girl who was struggling with a disease and prayed for her ever since. Recently Miley sent that little girl a video saying how she's still praying for her, that she still remembers her, and just to say hi. Unfortunately, that little girl passed away an hour after seeing the video.

After almost 4 Years work at Blockbuster, we are forced to close our store, sometime in the next few months... I'm quite sad, because I really love my job there, talking to the costumers about movies (especially about Disney Movies) and I made some really great friends with my colleagues. It's funny, 'cos they all know me as 'The Disney Guy' and they know that Mermaid is my favorite Disney Movie ;)

You know what I love so much about Disney? This may seem obvious, but I felt like saying it anyway. Well, these movies may be targeted for kids, but who says kids movies can't be masterpieces? I went to watch my little cousin's school play today and it was a parody of Princess tales. I am having a heck of a time doing Merida's favorite princess list since she has the most character development. Any ideas, guys? So you probably don't know about it, but I'm a writer. Recently I watched OUAT episodes, where Snow White and August Booth said, that fairy tales give us hope and inspiration. And I just thought that this is really true, because whenever I have a creative block, and lack of ideas, I'm watching Disney Princess movies and reading Andersen and Grimm's fairytales, and it really helps - I have a lot of desire and ideas to write. A few days ago I rewatched Brave and Frozen and I loved both, however Brave is now my least favorite DP Movie just cause it lacks the nostalgia that the other movies have and therefore not a very memorable movie imo, but I love Merida more now, she's now my 6th favorite DP (used to be my least favorite) mainly because of her development in the movie.
