My depression is really bad today, I feel horrible today. I've been trying to become more confident about my looks and two ways I've been trying to do that is for one trying to get hair removal for my entire body(I'm not gay, I'm straight) and currently I started working out. So, I finally got to watch Mulan for the first time since I was a child last night. It was on ABC Family. I absolutely LOVED it! Before, Mulan was 9 on my favorite list. I just came back from watching The Croods. I didn't have very high expectations for it, especially since they compared it to How To Train Your Dragon and I don't like that movie. However to my surprise it was awesome! Dreamworks is really stepping up their game. I love the characters(except the father and brother), love the animation, love the score, and the adventure is amazing.It's really emotional and funny too. something tells me "The Little Mermaid" 3D is still coming out. Cause I just bought a Disney Dvd, and the booklet thing has a Little Mermaid 3D "See it For the First time like you never have seen it before". And it says nothing about DVD, or blu-ray. it is a theatrical trailer. On the Princess calender it is still listed as well. Im praying it is correct. I just finished watching Twilight because I wanted to see what all the love and what all the hate was about. I was expecting something awful but it was actually okay. The characters weren't very interesting and the romance was.... creepy. I'm guessing Bella gets more annoying afterwards because she was only slightly annoying. So I decided to watch The Hunger Games because I wanted to see what all the hype was about. I just finished watching it and I honestly don't see the big deal, it was so boring. It's not a bad movie but it's not really my personal taste. I didn't like the characters, I didn't like the story, I didn't like the action, I didn't like the slow moments, and I hated all the death. Happy April Fools Day 2013! (I got the badge at 12:46!) So, I watched The Croods in Easter, and after RotG I think Dreamworks has a better idea of what kids like and should like. The movie had a lot of comedy, but again it was really sweet. It had a lot of adventure, and that genius moment, too- how the dad got an idea and reunited with his family, before he was about to die when the Earth cracked (stupid, calling it a genius moment, don't remind me XD) Like in Mulan (not done yet...) I just finished watching Bambi and I no longer hate it. It's quite cute but that's it. It's also quite boring with little dialogue and didn't really interest me that much. The music was so boring. Faline was also really annoying but I love the character Bambi. Plus the death of Bambi's mom broke my heart and I hate how they just played it off with a happy scene. I don't get why Brave gets a lot of hate in this site. Sure it definately shouldn't be a DP movie,but it's still an amazing movie. I recently watched it and I loved it. This may have been talked about before on the wall, but is anyone else getting really frustrated waiting for a trailer for the upcoming Disney film "Frozen"? I just recently watched The Rescuers, The Fox and the Hound, and am currently watching The Black Cauldron. The Rescuers was a lot better than I expected (the best one from the 70s), The Fox and the Hound was pretty generic, with below average pacing, andI do not like The Black Cauldron so far. I rewatched Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs after such a long time. I still love it, maybe even more if that's possible! Snow White is such a classic innocent beauty. She is so strong for someone who has a killer/abusive mother.In some Snow White legends, the evil Queen is the Snow White's real mother (the one who pricked her finger while she was sewing.) I just finished watching Brother Bear and it is really good. The characters are great, the songs are awesome, the animation is beautiful, and it's really touching. It has some things that don't work like all the modern talk, some silly things, and to me the ending was kind of meh. I think it would've been a good idea to have Koda become human so Kenei could be with both of his brothers and they could understand each other. Just thought I'd share this because I know many people on here love Hunchback of Notre Dame. Well I rewatched it the other day, a movie that I've never really been a fan of, but I have a new found liking for it. I don't love it or anything, but it's definitely a great movie. The soundtrack is fantastic, I really like "The Bells of Notre Dame" and the score is undoubtedly one of Disney's best. So yeah, I'm glad I rewatched it! I just finished watching Spirit: Stallion of The Cimarron, I use to hate it but not I actually really like it. The animation is gorgeous, I love horses, the characters are fun, and the action is pretty cool. I'm not much of a fan of the western thing because I've just never been a western person. I'm not gonna lie, the fact that the animals don't talk bugs me to no end and I HATE it. It's not one of Dreamworks best movies and it's forgettable but still likable. I just buy the newest issue of Disney Princess magazine and there is a great story about Flynn, he's feel very bad because he can't go out with Rapunzel, because everyone in Corona think about him as a thief. Last week i was at a Pixar exhibition where i live. It is on two floors and has a loooot of concept/production art, also a few from Brave^^ But the best part - An animation reel made out of concept art "come to life". Today, I just woke up with mucus all over my throat and windpipe- so I couldn't speak. You grossed out yet? Nope? Hey, guys. I rewatched Beauty and the Beast yesterday,and I'm afraid the movie lost a lot of its magic for me. I noticed 2 main things. The first one is that Belle only spends 2 days at the castle. There's no way she could have been months there because of her father going to search her and Lefou stuck in front of her house. I just finished buying my niece a DP themed easter basket and goodies! :) It's a pink easter bucket/basket with the dps on the front, a Disney princess story book, a DP sticker reward chart, bubbles (in a little plastic Dp castle! :) ), a Tiana float toy, and little mermaid bath toys. Today I watched Oz Great and Powerful it was good but not NEARLY as good as The Wizard of Oz. WARNING THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS! First of all I hate Oz the character, he's a mega jacka**, I also hate Evanora. It was a good movie but I felt the story dragged and that the protagonist was just a terrible character. My favorite part of the movie(MEGA SPOILER) Therodora/The Wicked Witch of The West. I feel so bad for her when Oz just breaks her heart. Plus she's a super BADA** when she's the witch. I watched Life of Pi and Lincoln a few months ago, and the were both a little above average... i'm sorry. In Lincoln, they didn't put much effort into the war, and in Life of Pi they would show AN HOUR of Pising (Okay, I don't want to spell it with 2 Ss so- i'll just change it to Pi. Pi's real name is...pih-sing) being on the boat with the tiger, motionless. IT WAS BORING. But then when they made to an island were those glowing fishes and flowers were, the movie became amazing.
