I don’t think that there is a connection with the number of days House will be in prison, rather I think it has to do with numerology. The number 111 in numerology is the equilateral triangle and is the representation of the Trinity and the concept of the triune (ie the one god, but divided into 3 people). House divided again, House as God, the God’s/House’s fall, he’s our limping God (the cane has a major role in the poster).
And the number of lines may be related to the number of seasons? The eighth line has only one pole because the eighth season is beginning.
Or maybe it means nothing and it would be better that we avoid to squeeze our poor and enough damaged brains…

The poster I am still a little stuck on. You have eight lines and only one mark on the last line. That could mean season 8 and episode 1. The 111 could be the time House actually pulls. David Shore said they will get him back in the hospital as soon as possible trying to skip over most details. He said they wouldn't spend a lot of time explaining Cuddy.

The more I read new interviews the more I think that Hugh and House are similar, even if HL denies it. I really hope TPTB understood how disappointed and upset the fans are because of Lisa's departure, how much we're gonna miss the banter, the flirt situations and the love between House and Cuddy, how much we're gonna miss Cuddy, and as you I want to see House desperate, hurt, in hard pain because of her leaving, because of her absence by his sides, I want to see him looking after her in PPTH, trying to contact her wherever she is, I hope TPTB will allow this to happen, will allow us to see how broken House is since Cuddy left.

With every post, new story or new excuse I see they try to refer to House as a medical drama and they want to get back to that. It has always been about House and that is what the majority audience wants to see. We want to see a man struggling to find something to believe in. Something that would make him step out further than he ever has and take a chance on a person. His relationship with Wilson while amusing, still is a distraction. I am not discounting the friendship but do I want to see a season of chickens, women, bets on fights? No. If that is four minutes of the episode ok. I want him to find something real and something he can believe in. The POTW and clinic patients have still always been about House and his "take" if you will, on humanity and what makes it tick. House has been searching for one person who is truthful and who they say they are since the beginning of the show. When he finds that person his goal then is to prove they are lying or that they are sick. But even at that it is still about him.

@huddycat - to think Cuddy want be running the halls after him, exchanging his vicodin with laxatives, putting trip wires in his office is still not even believable to me.

As you said, the medical side, the patients are always there to light a new side of House, of his personality, that's why this show is so attractiv and different from the other medical shows, and I want to see that, to discover a new side of this "antihero" but so romantic and touching, with each new ep, or at least that we get deeper in his soul. And as far as meaning is concern, I still think that the lost of Cuddy is a real problem, because she has a great insight in House, she was the only one he let in his heart, in the relationship between House and Cuddy - professional or private - some features of House are revealed that cannot be revealed through the relationship with patient or fellows.

I'm safe and sound in England and having a marvelous time! Great to see you still here! At least for a little while, my workload hasn't picked up too much so I'm hoping that i will be able to stop by and chat with you all! Unfortunately, i have no time to really read all of your posts but ive read some of them and glad to see the discussions! :)

Just wanted to fill you in briefly on what ive been doing: Got to visit both Gloucester Cathedral and Berkeley Castle on sunday and then today i visited the Winchester Cathedral and the remains of the castle which is the oldest in England! I also saw the remains of a Roman wall built in the 3rd Century AD. It's just so amazing to be here and get the chance to see things that are nearly 2000 years old! my friends and i are planning a day trip to London this weekend and we hope to get to Paris and Ireland as well (hopefully scotland! :)

p.s. i watched this FANTASTIC british movie the other night called "Peter's Friends" and has our beloved HL in it. He did a spectacular job and im posting a scene here from the movie he does with the spectacular actress Imelda Staunton. The scene just shows how amazing an actor he is! (But id recommend still watching the whole movie :)

My first feelings, just saying:

@fran ahahahahaha gotta love thriller by mj! i loved his dancing so amazing. and yes i did see the new promo! im having mixed feelings about it. of course, i may not get to see it until dec unless i can figure out whether they play it over here in the UK.

Message in a Bottle

Dear Mr Shore, after seeing the new promo I can not deny being shocked (even if I know that promos are misleading).
It seems to me that you're getting carried away by your pride and pride is always a bad advisor.
After criticism at the end of season 7 I have the impression that you, showing us an House unrepentant, want in some way to affirm your decision-making power on the evolution of the character.
I understand, this is your story but during all these years House has become a part of life for many people and at this point he is OUR story too.
In the beginning he came on tiptoe in our life in order to earn a place as a special guest. We have been seduced by this man so brilliant, charming, sexy, insufferable, damaged, suffering, lonely and in search of warmth, desperate, loyal, honest and a liar, true to hurt himself and others, strong for others and weak for himself, in constant struggle with his emotions and his needs always denied.
He has won the hearts of viewers around the world because we have all been encouraged to identify with him, with his pain and his humor, his cynicism, his fragility, with his need for love and his inability to ask, with his doubts about life and death and the meaning of existence, with the ethical choices for which there is never a definite answer, his lack of hope and his desire to believe. I was conquered by House’s duality, by the human being constantly looking for an answer and who did not give up, the man who damns his own soul in search of love, the lonely who would like to find the strength to believe that we are not alone in the world and that we can always find travel companions, the brothers that make us company during our journey. No one deserves to live and die alone, none of us can accept this idea, even House. He deserves some peace as well as we all deserve. Life sucks sometimes, but without a little hope it sucks even more.
House is a journey towards a goal. Which one? the decision is in your hands but please remember that House’s viewers are not stupid, they are people who have become captivated by the complexity of character and history. Always looking ahead, No Turning Back.
Why are you trying to disappoint ME? I do not want to go to the new stage, the anger. I'm so good in denial…

@HuddyJoy on German TV, the movie has not yet aired.I should probably buy the dvd.
