Since TVD has already ended, you all probably know that Delena is endgame, right? Married; From Elena Gilbert to Elena Salvatore after she woke up in Season 8; Has kids mentioned in Legacies; Growing old together :) But anyways, @delenasalvatore, I love your articles. Would you mind or is it too late for me to ask you to write "The Similarities Between Elena and Damon" or "How are Damon and Elena alike in personality and characteristics wise?" I sincerely hope the writers haven't decided to go there. It would be pointless because for so long now, we have been led to believe that delena are the it couple of the show. I mean they have got out of their way to show us that delena will always be the great OTP of this show. over a year ago

Not a rehash of the love triangle. Heaven help us. What if Damon sacrifices himself to save Stefan, even if that means giving up Elena? I wouldn't put it past the writers to do something like that. over a year ago

Would you rather there were no pics of Ian and Nina at all? The show is ending - well, for them the show HAS ended, they've finished filming I think - it would be very sad indeed if, after all this time, they were still at odds with each other. Nian are over. They were a beautiful couple whom everyone adored, but they've moved on, and it does no-one any good to hold grudges. over a year ago

Why do you feel sick? I've seen various cast photos of Nina behind the scenes and at this wrap party thing, but until now, I have seen no pics of her with Ian, and that troubled me. If there had been NO pics of her with Ian whatsoever, THEN I would feel sick. over a year ago

If I've offended anyone with my remarks, then I really do apologise for my behaviour. I guess what made me angry more than anything, was that this might very well be nians very last shoot together. Even if they had only shook hands or atleast hugged as cast mates. Then I would so happy, but no, she has to be in EVERY single photoshoot that they have together or thst he has with the cast. I am seriously sick to death of hearing all these supposed 'reports' in the media about Nina's 'return'. Some say she won't come back. And they try to make it look like she won't by using anything they can, even if it doesn't make sense. Something she posted on her Instagram, all the stuff about 'Somereed' - anything. Then they say she will come back. It's turned into such a media frenzy, and most of it isn't even true. I don't know if that's what the producers want, but Posted over a year ago

if she doesnt, they're basically using her to promote the final season of their show, and that's not fair to the fans. Like, TVD doesn't have anything else going for it anymore. Even their storylines about the new season has been completely overshadowed by the uncertainty over whether Nina will return or not, and the drama surrounding her, Ian and Reed. over a year ago

Anything good or bad that's being written - will Nina come back as another character, will Elena still get together with Stefan, is Reed jealous and not want Ian working with Nina, is basically a swipe at us, the DE fans. Honestly, who cares about Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder's relationship? Sure, they seem a little in-your-face about it, but that's only because Nian fans are known for being so extra, it pains. It also doesn't help that the media goes into a speculation frenzy whenever Ian and Nina so much as breathe in each other's direction. All of that may be negatively affecting their marriage, and it may be stressing them out, who knows. I actually don't blame Nikki Reed for being uncomfortable with Delena scenes. Jeepers, I was just trying to be funny. I was never a huge Nian fan, I never cared that much about them when they were together. I don't even care about 'Somereed'. I don't know how much drama surrounding 'Nian' and/or DE is affecting their relationship, but I am aware that since Ian got with Nikki, things between him and Nina seemed to go from 'OK' to terrible. Now he can barely mention Delena in interviews without gagging or making some inane comment about them - it's like he can't distinguish between a fictional couple and real life. He married Nikki, he should have moved on from it and feel absolutely nothing towards Nina now. At the very least he should be acting professional, because at the end of the day, he's an actor. over a year ago

I hate Reed and "somereed" beacuse I am a Nian lover, they were adorable together. However, I will always choose Delena. Ian should be thankful to us for making the show so successful, the fictional couple DE is perfect. I have never felt so passionate about a TV romance. I don't know if the producers have tried to intervene in the situation (because you cannot tell me that they don't know there's a problem), but it they are smart, they'll give Ian a sound talking to. This is the LAST series of the show. They must know that when Nina left, that hurt the ratings. They clearly realise that if they don't give Delena the reunion the fans want, then they'll just end up getting hated on and will look stupid. If the producers are smart, they'll step in. Either Ian should go to a therapist to resolve whatever animosity he feels towards Nina, OR, the producers should hold some kind of intervention. They could contact Nina and ask her to come by for a meeting/dinner/whatever sounds reasonable, but casually let it slip that Ian isn't going to be there because he has other committments. They could also do the same with Ian. Then, when Ian and Nina are in the same place, they should lock the 2 of them in a room together and tell them the only way they will let them out is if they reach some kind of truce. Are they the only co-stars who have to film romantic scenes while they dislike each other? No way. When they were filming 'The Notebook', Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams had to pause the scene they were shooting to yell at each other because they hated each other so much. Does it show in the film? No, because McAdams and Gosling are consummate professionals who care about the story they are telling. Ian has my permission to hate Nina for the rest of his life, but while he is working on TVD, he has a job to do and a duty he owes to his fans, to us, to Nina and to the rest of the cast and crew NOT to let his feelings get in the way of his work. over a year ago

So apparently, Nina was missing from a cast dinner thrown by Julie Plague - but Nikki Reed was there. Hmm, could that be the reason?? Or was Nina only missing in action because she was filming elsewhere? Who knows? What kind of bugs me though (and don't hate me for saying this), but it doesn't appear as if anybody else's significant other was featured in the photos that were taken and posted on the likes of Instagram (if Celeb Dirty Laundry is correct). I agree with all of you. It's VERY possible that once the show is over and Ian's career falters, Nikki will lose interest in him. Like, her career was going nowhere and she wasn't getting any attention until she started going with him. Her career in country music apparently didn't work out and neither did her marriage to Paul McDonald. over a year ago

I'm afraid the writers are going to totally destroy Delena. Even though I don't watch TVD anymore, I did for years obviously, and I still get current TVD vids 'recommended' for me on YT. '7X19: Damon is jealous of Bonnie and Enzo'. Most of the comments are Bamon fans cheering now Bonnie is at the centre of the show, and whooping with joy over their ship, and that even though Damon still mentions Elena frequently, his mind is on Bon-Bon. Yes, Damon loves Elena, but she is gone, with no hint of her ever returning. Clearly, the Bonnie/Enzo pairing isn't a big enough ship. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Damon did end up with Bonnie at this rate. There have been many solid, logical arguments why Bamon can never become a reality, but none of those arguments ever took into account that Elena wouldn't be around. The show is no longer about her. The show is no longer about a love triangle. The show no longer features Elena and Bonnie's friendship/sisterhood. All of that is gone. So is Delena. over a year ago

And all media and most viewers are already for a very long while sure about Delena ending up together, and that shouldn’t be lost only because someone parted. When they knew that Nina would leave, the show-runners showed Elena’s inability to exist without Damon, proved them to get together again under all circumstances and led them to their happy-end, including a sort of wedding ceremony with vows and finishing their plans for their shared future, with only the end itself left open to still being shown. over a year ago

They used words of “forever/eternal/never-ending love”, “holding on through bad phases that will always be followed by a change for the good”, “always finding one’s way back to each other” and so on, and they continue to do that this season ("After everything you’ve been through, what a shame it would be to lose her.", "Because you may be a thousand years away, or a hundred years away. You’re still here with me. And my heart is right there in that coffin with you. Until you’ll come back to me.", "Damon Salvatore and his everlasting happiness with Elena.", …), while they – after putting a huge effort for YEARS into creating the best love story ever in each detail over the years – put an immense effort into keeping Elena an important part of the story – even as only a wooden box or just by mentionings for now. I try to keep my hope low, but nothing in the story causes me to worry, even with so many stupid and painful things. over a year ago
