“Sleep, my love.” I whispered softly in her ear.
“Stay.” She pleaded like a child. My lifeless heart doesn’t seem so lifeless anymore. It swelled with hope. She still wants me to stay – with her.
A soft sob escaped her lips. She was trying hard to be tough.
“Shhh…I’ll be here with you, Bella, I promise.” I said soothingly – ALWAYS, FOREVER, As long as she wants me to. I won’t leave her anymore.
I brushed her hair away from her face and gently kissed her cheek. I hummed the lullaby I made for her. After a couple of bars, her breathing became even. Her lips slightly parted. I could feel her warm breath on my face. I smiled and gazed lovingly at the beautiful face of the girl I love with all my heart… with all I have.
I was hungry for every little line, every little crease of her beautiful face. I want to trace the lines of her lips with my fingers but I’m afraid she would waken. I’m also afraid of the powerful emotions, touching her lips would bring. I sighed. I’ve been without her long enough, I may not control myself and give in to…I shook my head. That could never happen to us. She’s too fragile. But how I wish I could love her too in that way. I shook my head once again.
“Get a grip, Edward. You just came back.” I chastised myself a little louder than I intended. I laughed quietly. I wonder how easy it is for me to laugh when I’m with her.
I stared once again at her lovely face. Her brows furrowed. What is she dreaming? I smoothed out her hair. How I missed its soft silky texture. I lifted a handful of strands to my nose and inhaled deeply. Intoxicating…as always. She stirred. I started humming again. My humming stopped – I was caught off guard. Then the lyrics and melody flowed clearly on my mind.
It took one look
And forever laid out in front of me
One smile and I died

I smiled and thought of the first time I saw her, the first time I heard her voice, saw her smile, blush, laugh…the very first kiss, the very first touch…
She snuggled closer to me, then shivered. I laughed quietly. I miss this. I miss her. I miss us. I wrapped the blanket around her even more tightly. I continued humming.

i was in the car fast alseep. when Phil and Renee were in the front. i was going to meet my sister Bella and her husband Edward also Renessmen. i woke up "hey Karina were almost there" said Phil.
