What to say about this one? Did we need it? Did we ask for it? Not really.

But I watched it finally and now I can say... it was OK. The visual effects here are phenomenal just like Favreau’s previous take at The Jungle Book. There’s also rare little moments of fresh storytelling that help differ this movie from the original, even if only about ten or twenty minutes worth.

I also had several problems. Like I said above, there are a few moments that differ but overall this is the exact same story from scene to scene just about. That includes many lines of dialogue taken straight from the superior...

Princess Kairia, was engrossed as she listened to her grandfather the former king Simba, as he told her a story of one of the adventures he had with her grandmother when he was a cub.
"There Grandma and I were cornered by the hyenas they were moving in for the kill. I did the only thing I could think of, I roared at them." Kairia looked at her grandfather impressed and asked him
"Wow Grandpa did that scare them off?"
Simba laughed heartily at his granddaughter and said "No, Dear One I'm afraid it didn't."
Kairia asked confused "But Grandpa if it didn't work then how did you and Grandma get away?"...

An archetype is a model device commonly used in media, and there are quite a few of them present in The Lion King. Sometimes archetypes are used to allow the viewer to make a better connection with a character or narrative, sometimes they are used to symbolise something important, and sometimes they are used simply because it makes sense to do so. Here are just some of the archetypes used in the 1994 animated movie...

Reluctant Hero
This is, of course, Simba. The Reluctant Hero is a common archetype used in a lot of movies, and is normally the protagonist. Simba is the good guy and the rightful...

Let's start with the fact how Kopa was never and is not canon nor a movie character at all: link.

But some people think that the more believers Kopa has the more real he'll become. As in that if many enough believe in him as canon regardless of Disney saying he's not, Disney would make him into what those believers want him to be.

Well, Kopa believers: If I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath. And here's why.

The books and Kopa are outsider written and look what happened: Disney approved him for profit and childrens' entertainment in books known only in USA and did not even refer to him in the...

I mean no affiance to those who love the lion king 2. And please don't leave any nasty comments, thank you.

First off, the animation.
The animation in the lion king 2 is totally horrible. Simba is darker (And somewhere in the movie his eyes are actualy blue!) , Nala is to bright and her eyes are to blue, Timon is dark and Pumba is dark and looks disgusting. The only charicters that looked like they did in the first movie were Scar and Mufasa. The wildebeests in the nightmare scene looked like wolves! I actually think that that the animators took more time and work in drawing the new characters...

Chapter 3 – A Big Cat’s Sense

“So… How are you feeling, Timon?” asked Nala in a friendly manner, but with a slight smirk on her face. Timon looked pretty darn beaten and bruised after being the target for the two lionesses’ hunting practices the day before. “I’m doing just great!” he said sarcastically and angrily, as he walked along the forest floor weakly, “I’m glad that I could help you ladies with all your hunting exercises!” “Come on, Timon. It wasn’t that bad.” Kiara assured him. “You can say that. But, you don’t...

The Lion King is a 1994 American animated feature film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation. Released to theaters on June 15, 1994 by Walt Disney Pictures,[2] it is the 32nd film in the Walt Disney Animated Classics. The story, which was influenced by the Bible stories of Joseph and Moses, the Epic of Sundiata, and the William Shakespeare play Hamlet, takes place in a kingdom of anthropomorphic lions in Africa.[4] The Lion King is the fifth highest-grossing animated film and continues to be the highest-grossing hand drawn animation film in history[5] and belongs to an era known as the...

The Lion King 2019 remake has just been released, and now that I have seen it, I want to write my thoughts on it. This really can't be done without comparing it to the original, and given that I have also seen the Broadway musical, I feel that I may as well write a comparative review all three versions in this article.
Please be aware that this article may contain some spoilers for the new remake movie.

The Original: The Lion King (1994)

This is the version that virtually everyone is most familiar with. If you were a child growing up in the 90s, like myself, there is a good chance that it...

Ok, when I found out that Kiara is a cub in The Lion Guard I didn't like it. Don't get me wrong. I am trying to make myself get used to the idea that Kion is a cub, not to mention the same age as Kiara according to what Disney just said. Yes, he is the second born but maybe he was from the same litter (making kiara and kion twins). So yeah.. he was born after Kiara and as it turns out he is the same age as her (not a big fan of that either).
By the way yes he is the second born because -for the last time- there is no Kopa! :P
However! It makes scenes from the second movie not make any sense!...

Surprisingly few have heard about Fluffy and many of those who have, are confused with all the books and the sequel and stuff. Here's the story digging into facts of the timeline and looks, as well as the official words by the film's makers.

I originally created this article to The Lion King Wiki as SuperBabySimba, but as Wikis can be edited by anyone who is confused and prefers daydreams over facts, I chose to post this original version here to help those who are interested. :)

IMPORTANT!!! --> This article is NOT saying that AU fanfiction isn't cool or shouldn't exist. Personally I LOVE writing alternate universe fanfiction and write a lot of it myself to study what fun other paths can bring. But I let my ideas and stories be known as AU fanfiction and nothing more or less. And I DO still write on and like to discuss the actual official stories as well.

As in, this article's topic is something I wish to discuss for two reasons:

1.) The movies are the ONLY media created by Disney and Disney has ignored the books and comics whenever talking about their movies and...

Tangu siku sisi kufika katika dunia

Kuna zaidi ya kuona kuliko unaweza milele kuonekana
Zaidi ya kufanya ila anayeweza kufanywa

And blinking, step into the sun
There's more to see than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done)

Kuna mno kuchukua katika hapa
Zaidi kupata kuliko hayawezi kupatikana
Lakini jua rolling juu

These are of course only my own, personal TOP10 reasons for loving it. :)

1. It's very unlike your standard Disney cartoon. It's dark and psychologically deep and complex story and doesn't sugar coat anything. Even the dead stay dead. Apart from Mufasa's ghost coming to guide Simba, but he was still dead! And unlike usually, the "resurrection" actually works for the story instead of being there to make kids happy. I mean, without the ghost scene the story would've been very different.

2. It bases on Shakespeare's 'Hamlet' mixed with a bit of the story of Moses from the Bible. That makes the story...

I wrote the whole thing myself and i am hoping this is gonna be good.

*The Lion King 3: The return of kopa*

*Part 1*

The sky was reddish pink, it was turning morning the animals lined up for Kiara and Kovu's official wedding at the Pride Lands, Vitani stood up looking proud at her brother. Wind blew againts her brownish-gold fur and through her bangs as she watched her brother and the other lionesses roar. Kiara and Kovu stepped up the pride rock and roared as the animals went wild. Kiara and Kovu hugged each other as Nala and Simba roared with them.

Later on, Simba and Nala were walking along...

I've been wanting to do this for a long time, so here I go. My little character psychology analysis on the three most crucial characters for the official story. In a way this results in Simba born -> Scar the bad guy -> Simba the bad guy -> Zira the bad guy -> the being bad ends with Simba growing into his father's son.

SCAR:
Nothing official is known about his past, but we can assume something made him want to be the king perhaps more than his brother ever did. I personally like to think it was not any remarkable amount of neglect by their father, but just Scar's desire for freedom...

A second part from Lion king 3 i made :D Hope you like this. :D!!!

It was already afternoon, every body settled in the cave to hear Kopa's story from the begin-ing when he got lost. He sat beside Vitani, they seemed to be all cuddled up.

Kopa: It all Started when Zira after attacked me. She put me on a rock by the river, where nobody would see me, she washed herself because if any-one knew it was her, she would have been killed. Later on that day, I saw my-self on the rock but i was so dizzy every-thing was circling around.

Kiara: You mean the river by the mountin?

Kopa: Nodds I saw a shape of...
