My brother and I never thought of our Simba plushie as Simba- we gave it an evil personality with the same name. I'm watching or peeking one of the episodes of The Lion Guard with my nephew and... I'm having so many moments where I'm sighing and putting my hands on my forehead... and found out that James Earl Jones only voiced Mufasa for a one time only thing, and for Pumbaa I can't tell... and I found one other positive for this series is that it brings attention for the animals over at Africa (especially lions) with the conversation fund thing. I've seen the Lion Guard TV movie and uh... I have mix emotions.... I'm happy, sad, furious, disappointed, and other emotions. Like the biggest smile that I had from the little movie is that, they kept the classic soundtrack in the beginning (before it got to the edited part...) , the fact that Timon, Pumbaa, and Rafiki didn't lose their charm and the voices for both Pumbaa and Mufasa. I've seen that Mufasa family tree video and oh sweet lord Jesus they have it wrong, like 80% wrong and 10% right. I'm literally ranting because of how much they got the story wrong... I- I oh my god I'm disappointed about to be turned in to mad at how much they got the story wrong, I mean they got it right as far as getting from the start of the movie to the end but the way it got there they got it wrong again in a way... To our new DVD/Blu-ray Disc reissue version of "The Lion King" from 2017, the entire closing credits sequence from the the original 1994 release of The Lion King always have to be digitally restored by the production staff (almost every release of The Lion King from 2017 onward), followed by the screen from the start of the movie at the end.
