HUGE Writing Character Dilemma! HELP!!!!!

So, as you may know Noel Clarke (who played Mickey Smith on Doctor Who) was accused of serious sexual allegations recently. Now, while I'm deeply disheartened and disgusted by this, I am a believer of waiting for all the facts to come forward but let's face it 20 women is a lot and it's not looking good. Now, I'm in the middle of writing my pt. two Doctor Who fic of 'Took Your Hand And We Ran' and it takes place in season 2, so my question is what do I do with Mickey? Do I keep him, write him out? I'm lost. Any suggestions? :/

I mean... it has to be whatever feels right to you. What I would suggest is separating the character from the actor, if that would work for you. I feel like in most cases a character can exist beyond the actor who portrays them, although I don't know anything about this particular case.

Well, considering I've already written him into both stories, I guess I'll have to but when I get to the Cybermen episode and Mickey decides to stay I just won't bring him back again at the last of the story. I mean it is loosely based on the series, I don't have to be accurate. Thank you for the help :)

Honestly, I've been in similar situations before with people I used to look up to. After hearing about what that actor has done, the idea of Rose and Mickey being in a relationship is hard for me to stomach. I believe you should do whatever you feel in your heart is the right thing to do. Sometimes, people separate the actor from the character, but if you can't do that, I completely understand.

I know! I feel the same, thank god Rose fell for the Doctor. But it's gotten worse, yesterday new charges were brought to the London police so I'm just going to cut him out of the story. My conscience just won't let me continue to keep him in the story. I just can't. It doesn't feel right. It's a shame but I've got to go with what's right.
