I'm leaning towards season four but I want more opinions.

i think season 1 would be better, or season 2, coz the episodes are good i guess

I own seasons 1 and 2 because they are the best ones IMO. So go with season 1 or 2, I think they are the funniest and the episodes are fun to watch again and again.

I think you should start and buy season 1. It's pure HIMYM uniqueness. That's what HIMYM die-hard fans love the show for. Most persuasive reasons are The Pineapple Incident, Sweet Taste Of Liberty, Game Night... I could list many more. So there you go.

It would be a good idea to start with the first, if you're thinking of buying the rest. Plus I love season one, it's just so awesome :)

i think i will wait for a box set to come oot once himym is finished BUT if i had to buy one i think it would be s2-possibly s1. they are the most awesomest in terms of continuity and arch..though s2 is heart breaking in the end. at least in s1 you know marshlily will be ok..tedobin- nnot so much!

If you`ve never seen the show, season one, because it`s a story, and you need to see the whole thing. If you`ve seen all the episodes, but want to own them, season four, because it`s my personal favorite.

Or season 4

Season 1: Because "Pineapple Incident", "Game Night", "Slutty Pumpkin", "Sweet Taste Of Liberty", "The Limo", "Of Course" and many more, are episodes that you must have if you really love the show.

And season 4: Because I adore that season, it happened a lot of things and if you're a Barney/Robin fan, that's a big plus ;)

I got season four! I'm just not a huge fan of season one. I love all the seasons, but season one might be my least favorite.

Totally should have gone for season 2!! =P

I'll get 'em all eventually. got season three and season four now. planning on getting the rest of them for Christmas. :)
