Guys, news has surfaced. There is an alternate ending. Available with the boxed set. Now if the finale has taught me anything, it's DON'T HOPE. But now we can all actually pretend the aired finale never happened.

In regards to WHO is "the Mother"..... just throwing it out there again as many people think that Ted meets her at Barney's wedding....but in Season 3, Episode 12 at the end of the episode when Ted returns to the club to retrieve his forgotten cell, he grabs a yellow umbrella & walks home. In telling the story to his kids he reveals to them that his eventual wife had been at the club that nite.
