Found out my local library could borrow the DVDs from other libraries in the county-wide cooperative & just finishing up season 3. Had to wait in a holds queue for all 3 seasons, so other people are still watching this as well! Great quirky stories (I will never forget the ending to the lobster episode, with the villagers all lining up to buy laxatives!), gorgeous scenery, & Robert. What more could one ask for? (Well, I wish they hadn't killed Wee Jock. Or Alex. Or TV John.)

Kindof disappointed in Emma this episode. I wonder what she would have felt if she'd touched August's leg -- wood or flesh? Especially if he'd had her close her eyes so she didn't know what she was touching. I don't quite get why he's changing back, though. The magic that turned him in the FTW shouldn't be unravelling in a 'magicless' world, no matter if he wasn't always 'brave, truthful, unselfish' as the fairy told him to be.

Yeah, I also think magic has something to do with why Emma couldnt see August's wooden leg. I mean, even if she was in denial she shouldnt be able to see a flesh leg when it is not there. In said it before, I dont think this is the land without magic.over a year ago
Anyone think August must have known Bae in this world to know what the dagger looked like & that he called Rumpel "Papa"? Was baby Emma found in Boston (or did she move there later)? Bae might have come through to this world in the same general area. Wild thought, could he be Henry's father? (Though Gold makes more sense, he knew he'd need a lure to get Emma to Storybrooke.) Gold needs to quiz Booth about some things!

I guess that can be possible, but if August is Pinocchio, why he didn't look for his own father, Geppetto. He remembers, right? So he knows his face and he CAN recognize him. If I were him, I would. May he needs time... We'll see.over a year ago
SQUEEE! Need to give Rumpel hugs. Lots & lots of hugs. Man, this ep really added to our info about him! The dislike of fairies (anyone else think the blue fairy looks like a jellyfish from the waist down?) & why he panicked at the thought of losing his power due to Belle's kiss (he needed it to create the Curse that was his only chance of ever finding Bae again). The scenes with Archie & August blew me away.

The Blue Fairy is totally like a jellyfish! And NOW I get a lot of things. I never recognize the thruth. Why Rumple keeps to take the power... to find his son, right! You totally genius.over a year ago
Sort of watching the repeat at my sister's house on Easter; she said exactly what I've always thought: Josh D. just has too 'modern' looking a face for Prince Charming. Some people just have more of a 'period' look to them.
