Chapter 5

There are things that drift away like our endless, numbered days...

"Wilson...?", her voice was soft and careful as she approached him, ignoring the rain that started to soak her.
He was standing with his back to her, his hair and clothes already very wet, but he didn't seem to care either.
"Please come back in....it's cold out here.", she whispered and winced as he let something fall.
She took a closer look, it was an orange box with pills, laying on the wet ground of the balcony now.
Cameron bent down and picked it up.
"You take anti-depressants..?", she carefully asked.
"They don't help...

This is a fanfic I found somewhere on livejournal and since it was split into chapters I found it was easier to post it here than to link each chapter or so.

Chapter 4

My life's confused and I try to stumble through the day

Cameron had fallen to her knees and was vomiting. It took only a second and Chase as well as Wilson were by her side.
"Allison!"
Cameron raised her head to look at them. The sickness had started out of the blue.
Wilson gave her a glass of water. "You should really do an MRI...this looks like a concussion."
Chase agreed with Wilson. "Yes, this has to be checked."
Cameron knew that she wouldn't have a chance to escape anymore.
"Okay then...", she said and stood up, immediately supported by Chase.

James Wilson was sitting at his desk reviewing his latest patients’ files when he heard a knock at the door. Placing the files on the side of his desk, he got up to open the door. He was surprised to see a teary-faced Cameron on the other side of the door.

    “ Allison, what’s wrong?” he asked concerned.
    “ I just had a miscarriage,” she said wiping the tears from her face.
    “ I’m sorry to hear that, but isn’t this something you should talk to Chase about?” he asked now starting to feel a little uncomfortable....

    As some of you might or might not know, there was a Wameron scene “Wilson’s Heart” that was cut out which basically involved a heart-to-heart between Cameron and Wilson. Obviously, I was disappointed to hear that this scene was cut off because I would have really loved to see it, so I decided to write my own version of what that scene was like. Yeah, I realized that the “Wilson’s Heart” episode occurred a long time ago, but it wasn’t until I watched “The Itch” again yesterday that I got inspired to write this article (I think you’ll see why when you...

Chapter 6

I'm not who you want me to be


When Wilson kissed her, she had to admit that there was nothing she wanted more at this moment. Really nothing.
But there was also the fact that she was together with Chase.
It wasn't the fact that Chase could come out to them any moment and see this which stopped her but simply the fact that cheating on Chase was wrong, that he didn't deserve this.
So she pulled slightly away from Wilson.
"I can't do this to Robert...I'm .. sorry.."

The man let go of Cameron, who looked surprised, and stumbled back, touching his bleeding nose as he started to yell which only caused that more doctors came running into the room.
"Are you okay?", Wilson came to Cameron, who quickly nodded.
"I´m fine...thank you."
"Let me see your head."
"It's nothing, really." Cameron replied, ignoring the blunt pain.

When Cameron entered the princeton-plainsboro the next day, it was very early. She hadn´t really slept well last night, and woke up before her buzzer even had the chance to make a sound.
Wiping the sleep out of her eyes, she entered the locker room to put her white coat on.
"Morning."
Cameron turned around in shock at the sudden voice to see a man standing behind her, watching her.
"Ohh..", she said, " You just scared me a little."
"Sorry, I didn't mean to squash the tenuous butterfly.", he replied.

Very slowly the door to Wilson's office was opened and a woman came in. Quietly and without a word she closed the door behind her, being in no hurry.
Wilson looked up and relaxed a little as he saw that it wasn´t House but Cameron.
"House told me you...", she started but was interrupted by Wilson.
"If House sent you, I don´t want to hear it. I'm busy..."
The grief in his voice was hardly not to hear.
Cameron sighed and approached him.
"He told me you wanted to resign..."
