Once I got up stairs and into my room I checked the surf report and it said it was flat. Great what am I gonna do now. I can't stop thinking about Cody he kent so much to me and he was always there for and always protected me from everything from other vamps or just tripping and falling. He was always there to catch me and now he wasn't and I didn't know what to do. I went back to my bed and just lyed there thinking of Cody. I couldn't help it, we had been together ever sinse we meet. I guess the pull the love I felt toward him was only me. I feel asleep crying again. I hated when that would happen. I knew everyone could hear me but I'm glad no one came and ask if I was okay because it hurt more to talk about him than it did to think about him. When I was asleep I had the strangest dream. Cody and I where in the woods laughing and playing with all of the sudden he just turned at me and started yelling the same words he told me when he broke up with me for the first time. I started crying as soon as I woke up. I was crying g silently. I finally stopped crying and got dressed and went toad's house. I hadn't see him in forever. I told Carlisle and esme that I was going to go see Max and that I would be back later. They said okay. I grabbed my helmet and riding jacket and hopped onto my motorcycle. I started crying g as I was driving there, Cody would sometimes drive me on my motorcycle to the beach or we would just ride. When I arrived at Max's house I ran up and gave him a hug and said:
I haven't seen you in so long.
Hey addi. He said.
What's up ? I ask.
Nothing much just work. Max said. Have you been crying he said.
Yeah, your gonna think I'm stupid. I told him.
Try me. He said.
You remember Cody? I ask.
Yeah, you got back together with him. He said.
Yeah we were together. I said as tears formed
in my eyes.
Oh addi, how could I think your stupid. He is the stupid I one Max said.
I hug him and started crying.
When did this happen? Max ask.
Two days ago. I told him.
I'm sorry he said and gripped me tighter into a hug.
We were sitting on his couch now. Thanks for always being here for me Max. I said.
No problem he said. I always wanted a younger sister before.
I just smiled. Max always made me feel better after a break up for some reason and I didn't know why either. It was around 4 o'clock when I left Max's house. I didn't want to drive home in the dark. When I got home I wanted some home made maccaroni and cheese for supper. It tasted just like my mom use to make it. After I ate I cleaned up the kitchen and went and showered. I use really hot water. I was so cold. I got out put on long pants and a tshirt and dryer my hair. I went and sat in the living room with all of my family, well emmet was the only one in there but it was still nice.
Hey emmet. I said.
Hey human. He said.
Whatcha watching? I ask.
Info commercials. He said
Cool are they any good ? I ask.
Not really. He said.
We sat in silence for a little while until he turned to me and ask.
Do you want to talk about? He ask.
Not really, I continued. It hurts more to talk about it than it does just to think it all over. I said.
Oh. Emmet said.
I sorta had myself prepared for it because he always seem so distant or out of it. I continued. Like he use to tell me how cute I was or if I wanted to go shopping and told me that I was beautiful. I said.
You are beautiful. Emmet said.
Thanks I told him and then we went back to silence. I layed down on the couch watching the same info commercails as always and then I fell asleep. Emmet was always so good with me spilling my feelings out and he never told anyone ether which was great.
