Gwen P.O.V
I looked out the window into the gloomy skies of New York. It looked as if it was going to pour. I saw his reflection out the window and quickly turned around only to see Trent standing there.
“Calm down Gwen. No need to be all jumpy,” It has been 22 days since I met Trent. It all started when Duncan cheated on me, but I’ll save that story for later. I was walking towards the elevator with tears in my eyes. As soon as the elevator door opened, I saw the blur of a person through my watery eyes. I wiped away my tears and saw a hot guy standing not even 5 feet away from me. As I stepped onto the elevator the stranger asked, “You okay?” I shook my head. I felt hot tears pouring out of my eyes. “WHOA! HEY. I didn’t mean to offend you. Please don’t cry. What happened? The name’s Trent by the way”.
“Mine’s Gwen,”
“A beautiful face to match the beautiful name,” His face came super close to mine as if he was going to kiss me, but instead he wiped away my tears. He kept that distance. Since I was not ready for another relationship, so I quickly distanced myself from him. I explained to him my situation and how I wasn't ready.
“I’m sorry. Hey, if you need a place to stay you can hang with my cousin ,” he offered while stepping back.
“Will your cousin mind?” I asked as we exited the elevator
“Not at all. I think you two will get along pretty well. Her name is Marilyn by the way,” He opened the passenger side door and I got in.
“Thanks. I owe you one,” He dropped my stuff at his Marilyn’s house and then took me to a coffee shop near her house. “So what brings you here to New York?” I asked while we were on our way to the coffee house.
“I heard a damsel in distress calling my name,” Trent replied. I playfully slapped his arm.
“Seriously,”
“My grandad recently passed away, so we had a funeral for him here,” tears flooded his eyes. I apologized as we got out of the car. We ordered coffee, chatted for awhile, and then Trent introduced me to his cousin and dropped me off at my new apartment.
“Hey! GWEN!! HELLOOO?!??! You there?” Trent called.
“Yeah. Sorry. I spaced out for a second,”
“No duhh,” he smiled, came up behind me, and gave me a little kiss .
“Hey, you two lovebirds,” Marilyn said as she walked towards us, “I’m going to work, so I’ll see you guys later,”
As Marilyn was leaving, Trent looked at the clock and told me it was late, so he gave me another goodnight kiss and left. Well, I might as well go to bed too. I have college in the morning.

Ugh! It's all Gwen's fault I'm in Juvenile Prison. How could she do this to me. Making wear orange, making me use the bathroom in front of people, making me eat disgusting food. Watching a lot of people trying to rape each other. The only good thing here is Alejandro comes and visits me. Wait.... if Alejandro comes and visits me, we can make a plan for revenge!
