The three penguins lined up in front of their leader. “Mission, sir?” asked Kowalski, saluting.
“Right,” replied his commander. “Years ago, I received a call of help from our cousins the turkeys.”
“The turkeys are our cousins?” repeated Private.
“Yes.”
Private’s face grew worried. “So our cousins are being butchered as we speak?”
Rico’s face, on the other hand, was disturbingly dreamy. Ignoring the look on Rico’s face, Skipper continued. “Like a fool, I turned it down.”
“Isn’t it breaking the penguin code?” asked Kowalski.
Skipper glared at him. “Done here?”
“Affirmative.”
“As I was saying,” said Skipper, looking at them each in turn. “The mission was to help the turkeys from their annual massacre.”
The penguins’ faces grew solemn. “So, we’re going to help them?” ventured Private.
“Affirmative,” replied Skipper. “No American turkey is going to die this year.”
He handed out files to each of them. “This is the plan. You have precisely twenty-four hours to know and memorize everything.”
“Everything?” repeated Rico in his way.
“Everything,” confirmed Skipper.
He walked toward the ladder. “I suggest you get started on it right away.” With that, he was gone.
The penguins looked at each other then at the stack of filed each of them was holding. Sighing, Private carried his files to the table. “We’d better get on it.”
Kowalski followed. “I should invent something that allows you to put things into your brain without memorizing it,” he mumbled, sitting down beside Private.
Rico looked at the files one more time before heading to his bunk.

0600 hours Tuesday.....

Skipper blew the horn. “Up and at ‘em, boys!” he yelled.
One by one, his unit got up and lined up in front of him. He walked over to his rookie. “Private! What’s the name of our intel?”
“Turk, sir!” replied Private.
Skipper nodded and walked over to Kowalski. “Kowalski! What’s his origin?”
“His ancestors were from Turkey!” Kowalski stood rigid. “Like all the turkeys,” he added under his breath.
It was Rico’s turn. “What are we doing, soldier?” Skipper asked.
Rico said something that was incoherent to Kowalski and Private, but apparently, Skipper understood him. “Not bad, soldier.”
He walked in front of his team. “When are we moving out?”
“0630 hours, sir!” they answered.
Skipper was impressed. “Very good. You all know what this means.”
“Snow cones,” whispered Kowalski. “Please say it.”
“Snow cones,” declared Skipper. “Go satisfy your thirst for pleasure.”
“Yay!”
The team went topside to the park. Skipper walked over to the coffee machine and began brewing himself a cup. “Nothing like a cup of coffee in the morning,” he declared.
The hatch opened, and Marlene popped in, almost causing Skipper to spill his coffee. “Marlene! Would you ever learn how to knock?” said Skipper crossly.
The otter apologized. “ Sorry. I was wondering, do you have any spare nails? I’m hanging up more pictures.”
“It’s in the closet,” said Skipper, pointing at their untidy, dangerous storage room.
Marlene peeked in. “Uhh, you know, never mind.”
With that, she hurried out of the HQ. Skipper shrugged and continued sipping his coffee. ‘Mammals,’ he thought. ‘They can never make up their minds.’
Minutes later, his team returned from their little expedition. Skipper saw them. “All right, men. It’s go time. Kowalski! How’s our cover?”
Kowalski switched on the holograph. “Ready, sir,” he reported. “I’ve installed a function that only allows us to switch it off!”
“Rico! Private! How’s our security measure?”
“Good to go, Skipper!” said Private.
“Saddle up, boys, we’re in for a long ride,” said Skipper, climbing into the car.

All right, who wants to hear the back-story for this one? So during my research of all things Manfredi and Johnson, I was compelled to watch Stalag 17, the story of a German POW (prisoner of war) camp. Then I thought of my last summer camp which I described as a real prison (that explains why I went to Europe this summer!). I added in my love of POM and got this! Stars my OC Sapphire and this is humanized. I don’t own POM, Stalag 17, or fancy French chocolates. Cause I ate them all. Enjoy the fanfic.

It is my 43rd day here. I know. I’ve been counting. The air is hot and dry- typical enough...

"You won't get away with this, I won't let you!!!" "Ahhh, but I already have darling." said a tall, skinny penguin with green eyes and straight black feathers for hair. Her name was Voliet. She was very pretty. That was how she almost always ended the world. "Don't call me that." "Darling, Darling, Darling." "Besides I have a nice, long ride all set up for you, Kaitlyn." She said that with glee in her voice. Kaitlyn was a penguin with curly white feathers for hair and shiney blue 'n purple eyes. "We'll meet again though, trust me." "The last thing I'd ever do is trust you!" Kaitlyn spat into...

Spying is rude:
There was a Zookeeper named Alice,
Who came out of the bath quite towel-less.
The penguins did learn,
As their stomachs churned,
To Avoid the Alice when Towel-less!

Ticking off the Pen-goo-ins*:
Bowhole says "penguins" quite strange
But not becasue he's dearnged
This word he won't doff
Just to tick his foes off
But we all know that villian won't change

Man on the other side of the Radio:
The Zookeeper man number two,
Did not know what to do!
The man was quite sad,
For his screentime was bad,
His face was not there-Boohoo!

*Kowalksi informs us that Blowhole missprounounces the word just to tick them off in one of the promos to Operation:Blowhole

"Ugh," Kowalski instictively stretched out, before realizing he was no longer in a crate. He lay on a cold powdery substance. Snow? Kowalski put some in his mouth, then spit it out. It was Fake.

Standing up, he brushed of the flakes and looked around.
There was fake ice and snow covering the landscape,
with stone slabs set out in an area of salt water. If the snow wasn't real then...was this a habitat? Kowalski searched the perimeter for his mate,...

OPERATION: HOME SWEET HOME
CHAPTER FOUR
~ Whatever It Takes ~

The next morning, before the zoo opened for business, Skipper, the other penguins, and Marlene gathered at Alice’s office to look at the newest edition of The New York Times, which Alice always had a copy of on top of her desk. Since both the Central Park Zoo and the New York Times Building were located in Manhattan, Skipper figured that the envelope he and Kowalski had mailed out the morning before would have reached the newspaper that same day, thus in time for its contents to be published in that morning’s edition.

“Let’s...

RATED PG-13.
Genre: mystery, suspense, romance, mild action
TDL's Note: I'm writing a new story. This one is rather dark. The first part is very short; it is only the prologue.

The air was filled with the scent of wet concrete. The moon shown down on the lifeless zoo, the only source of light. Puddles covered the ground from the storm that passed through the city hours ago. An eerie silence swept over the exhibits.

Through the silence, faint footsteps moving from puddle to puddle were heard, getting louder and louder. He came from the shadows and out into the moonlight, and took a breath of...

Just a little drabble I wrote up, my theories as to why Blowhole is crazy and wants to flood the world and hates Skipper. This will probably be COMPLETELY different from what actually happened, but oh well. Just something to tide us all over until Febuary 15th.

Title sucks, I know, but it's the best I could come up with. :-/

I might write another story soon, too. If I haev the time. I wanna write a Skipper/Marlene/Blowhole story. Insane, I know. :P

And I believe I've officially become Blowhole's number-one fan. On this website, at least. ^^;

Oh, and the bit where he's beached and a random guy puts...

Everyone landed in different places around the rainforest.

Marlene and Icicle stood-up and began to search for everyone else.

"Uggh! What's up with Skipper?" asked Marlene, "He keeps messing with me and thinks that he can boss me around! What's wrong with him?"

"Uhh, girl." Icicle said while fighting through the leaves, "Don't you think that Skipper does that to protect you?"

"Well, sometimes. But still...Yea, whatever." Marlene jumped over the root blocking her way. "Why can't he see that I can take care of myself? I don't want him to think of me as a weak, damsel in distress. I want to be more."...

Chapter Two

“Rico. Rico. Rico, wake up.” Rico heard his name being called repeatedly and fluttered his eyes open. The voice was so rich and sweet, he hoped it was who he thought it was.

“Marlene???” Rico whispered. His eyes were blurry and then they got into focus, making the shape of an angry penguin and a slightly younger one to his side.

“RICO! Where are my magazines?” Skipper demanded. He didn’t hear Rico say Marlene at first.

“Marlene.” Rico sat up and wiped his eyes with his flippers. He looked around and found his doll. Her arm had came off when he had thrown her aside...

“I wonder what’s taking him so long,” Marlene mumbled to herself. She was sprawled out across her bed, staring up at the ceiling of her habitat, thinking about Skipper. She checked the clock, “it’s been almost an hour. I hope his team took it well.”

Marlene began to get anxious, not because she wanted to know what the other penguins thought of their relationship, but because she wanted to see Skipper again. Ever since the first time she laid eyes on the strapping penguin she knew that there was something about him that attracted her to him. It could have been his sleek black and...

Note To Self,

It’s been nearly a month. I’m not sure what happened, but Skipper is in the worst shape of his life. Private and I have both made various attempts to talk to him, but he refuses to say a word. On another note, he won’t eat his fish, anymore. Private tells me that he somehow feels responsible. I somehow doubt it. But, with the way things are looking, who knows what’s wrong with Skipper? I only wish that he would tell me something. It wouldn’t even have to be about this situation. I simply need to know if he’s still sane.

Besides, he’s starting to frighten Private....

“What’s going on, Skippa?” Private appeared from behind the conversing crowd that had gathered near the fishbowl ladder. This cluster of animals now included the four penguins and Marlene, who appeared to have brought along some important news.

“We’ve received word that Alice and her coworkers are planning some sort of diabolical meeting at the Zoovenir.” Kowalski answered, instead. Marlene was quick to intervene, though.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa! I did not say anything about it being diabolical!” the otter claimed with her hands of her hips. She had only been there for probably 8 minutes...

This is really kind of for my benefit, so I can have a quick way to get to my ff's, but I put a brief description in case you're interested.

Although, I highly recommend you redirect to my FanFiction account to see revised and improved versions of these stories if you plan on reading them. Additionally, I have officially stopped posting my stories on fanpop as of June 30, 2017, so there are chapters, installments, and other stories that will not be here. Two Spiteful Uncles Thinking to the Beat
A Short Story

Dave the Octopus looked at the giant map in his hands and felt happy.

He walked over to the window and reflected on his tense surroundings. He had always loved cold a submarine with its muddy, miniature metal walls. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel happy.

Then he saw something in the distance,...
