There was a boy who lived in Devil's Garden.
He tried to show that rock and roll was good.
He promoted peace as well.
But his message fell on deaf ears.
And a pastor tried to kill him.
Why would anyone hate peace and music?
Why even to the point of killing?
Why would one kill a sweet guy like John?
He only wanted peace and rock and roll to be accepted.
