Ktchenor Question

Halloween Costume Confessions! What was the worse Halloween costume you ever wore?

Mine was for a Halloween party at my college. I really didn't want to go! I was getting over sinusitis, I had a bad haircut and the only reason I went was for a essay grade. Anyway, I was trying to go as a death eater from Harry Potter.(Yes, a death eater. I was desperate)

The costume was homemade and last minute.
It was a black skirt (inside out), black shirt with long sleeves, black ankle boots, brown feather clips in my really, really short hair and black nails! I looked ridiculous!
Everybody thought I was a Gothic vampire! I could feel my pride slowly slipping away that night! *lol!*

But at least I got the grade!

I've never dressed up for Halloween, as there's a Jewish holiday that involves dressing up and that's where I get my yearly dose of costume. I remember when I was six, I thought I could dress up as a super heroine by wearing a puffy purple dress, a sparkly blue cape, and a tiara. Needless to say, I looked very much like I'd meant to be a queen or a princess, and nothing at all like I'd meant to be a super heroine.

Well, first it sounds like a really cool holiday. :) And maybe you could call it a Super Princess/ Queen, I guess? But it sounds better than what I wore!

I wouldn't say it was horrible, but there was once when I had the bright idea to go as a ghost. I took a sheet, and I cut eye holes into it. Genius that I was, I didn't wear my glasses. I don't have horrible vision, but without my glasses, I can't see very well. I misjudged a step, and I fell. I skinned my knee very badly. I still have a few scars from it. I never went as a ghost again after that.

Ouch! So sorry! I've actually have done that and with or without glasses poor vision just doesn't work with ghosts costumes for some reason?

Apparently not. For most of my life, Halloween was like a curse for me. I usually either got sick or injured. Last year was the first year I didn't get sick or injured.

I "dressed up" as Shaggy from Scooby-Doo. I was wearing regular clothes, the only difference being a red shirt (Shaggy wears a red shirt in some shows)
