Here's my response to this rubbish.

1- the writing is better
Um, no. It's really not.

2- the actors/actresses who film the movie are talented
WHAT?! Ok, you're talking about the ecstatic Kristen Stewart, right? The Kristen Stewart who shows so much emotion in every seen of the movies? She looks really excited, huh? She might as well be a mannequin.

3- bella is a role model (she teaches people to hold on to their friendships and stuff and keep their secrets)
Bella is a role model!??!??! Ok, when Edward left bella in New Moon, Bella curled up for months, MONTHS. So that's basically saying that 'when the love of your life leaves you, curl up in a corner and TRY TO FREAKING KILL YOURSELF.'

4-it has a PLOT!!
And Harry Potter doesn't?! Twilight is about a forbidden love triangle or whatever. Frankly, i'm sick of hearing that story over and over and OVER again. It's really old.

5-the scenes in the movies are exciting
All the scenes in Twilight are either Bella and Edward making out, or Bella sitting there with a monotonous expression on her face! Harry Potter is filled with humor, courage, explosions, and people DYING!

6- the effects are amazing
What effects? The effects of vampires flying through the air playing baseball? Sounds exciting. The werewolves look pretty realistic, i'll give you that, but other than that, the effects are complete rubbish.

7-a story about a vampire, werewolf, and mortal beats a swinging wand boy and his enemy the beast
Uh, yeah. Harry Potter has vampires, werewolves and plenty of mortal beasts. Except the vampires and werewolves in Harry Potter don't fight over some emotionless girl to see who gets to make out with her. They actually fight for a understandable purpose! WHAT?!?! THAT'S ABSURD!

8- the actors and actresses are attached to their character and love them
Oh, is that true? I saw an interview with Robert Pattinson. He hates Twilight. He is only in Twilight because they pay him a lot. I reckon he enjoyed his time fighting to the death in an epic battle rather than sparkling naked and being in love with some girl.

9-the characters are not all good or all evil
Are you kidding me? The only character that is all evil in Harry Potter is Voldemort, and it isn't even his fault, he was born from the effects of a dangerous potion, so he can't love. It's not his fault.

10-the evil people are villians for a reason like the newborn army in eclipse who almost killed the whole city of seattle or the volturi (they are not evil evil they have some good in them)
Um... how does that make Twilight better? A bunch of vampire babies destroying an important city? That sounds pretty stupid to me.

11-the characters in twilight are nice and have a great personality and they are hot and cool too (they are lovable for that)
So basically you're saying that Twilight is better because it has nice hot guys. (Shallow much?) The characters from Harry Potter are so kind that I would die to have friends like that. I don't want friends that could attach themselves to me to leech my blood every time i get a paper cut.

12-the cover of the books are drawn beautifully
The cover of the books are photographs, you idiot.

13-the posters of the movie looks verrrry cool
All the posters just show Edward and Bella embracing dramatically. Harry Potter posters show awesome scenes of people who are covered in dirt and blood fighting for their lives.

14- creative and great ideas of the vampire form
Vampires don't fly. Vampires don't sparkle. Vampires aren't fairies.

15- you can make your own stories out of the chapters of twilight
(you can make stories out of harry potter too but twilight turns out better than harry potter)
Ok, now you're just being bias. What sounds cooler, having two guys kill each other to want you or being on the run from the government with your best friends?

16- the phrase twi-hard is cool
That sounds retarded, honestly. It sounds like some three year old trying to say tryhard.

17-the mashup name renesmee is so creative
So? What does that have to do with Harry Potter?

18- Meyer made the werewolves and vampire unite even though they are enemies to each other
And Rowling made Gryffindor and Slytherin unite, the two houses that loathed each other, to destroy Voldemort.

19-the book is an international bestseller and an award winning book too (chosen by book critiques)
The least successful Harry Potter movie made $90 million more than the most successful Twilight movie. And Harry Potter is definitely a bestseller too.

20-there are lessons you can learn from twilight (the thing u can learn from harry potter is how to do a spell on your friend so he can help u)
Harry Potter is about conquering fear, doing what's right in the time of danger, and being loyal to your friends. Twilight is about how important it is to have a boyfriend.

21-the emotions are deep in twilight and is a wide imaginative world (unlike wand boy)
Wand boy? Really? The 'wide imaginative world' in Twilight is called EARTH, honey. It exists. Myers didn't create a world, she just used our world. JK Rowling created an entire school, and an entire wizarding world with backstories, and many, many people.

22- she replaces small simple words to long big words for people to be more educated not use simple words everyone can understand
Then I guess Twilight is for mentally handicapped people who can't read big words. You just said yourself.

23-twilight has a theme of a mystical and imaginative world
Yep, so does Harry Potter.

24- twilight is read by a massive audience
HARRY POTTER IS DEFINITELY MORE READ THAN TWILIGHT.

25-the fight scenes are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo amazing and you feel the fight by someway
(First of all, 'by someway?') In ways, I could literally FEEL Harry's pain in scenes. JK Rowling explains EXACTLY what pain feels like.

26-the twilight quotes are really nice written and you feel the creativity in them
Yeah. The emotionality of Harry Potter is much more... described and detailed than Twilight. I just researched, people cried during Twilight 'because Edward just loves Bella so much...' and people cry during Harry Potter because of death and loss and grief. They cry because Harry Potter gives them REASONS to cry.

27-Meyer left clues for you to know the identity of each and every character
JK Rowling left so many things unsaid that it was the real mystery figuring them out. There are so many unsaid facts that shock most Harry Potter readers, facts that make you say 'WHAT?!'

So, yeah. This is a LOAD OF RUBBISH. I don't hate people who like Twilight or anything, it is just... these reasons are RIDICULOUS. C'mon, at least put up a fight.

The two Bellas: Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter and Bella Swan from Twilight are being compared. These are 50 reasons why I think Bellatrix beats Bella.

1: Most important: Helena Bonham Carts vs. Kristen Stewart... is there really any competition??
2. When people act as if Bellatrix is incapable of doing certain things, it just makes her fight harder. When people act as if Bella is incapable of doing certain things, she becomes all depressed.
3. Bellatrix is exceedingly loyal. For a time, Bella couldn't choose WHO to be loyal to (Edward or Jacob)
4. Bellatrix went into Azkaban for--what...

Great:
Wizard-on-wizard combat in the films
Writing battle scenes was never Rowling’s strongest suit, but her fight scenes became electric on the screen, more or less literally: The effect when two thrown spells locked in mid-air is particularly splashy and creative, with the clash of energy throwing off heavy, wet detritus that looks like paint. Scenes like the Battle For Hogwarts at the end of the series, the Ministry Of Magic showdown in Order Of The Phoenix (with good and evil wizards zipping around as light and dark clouds, and the sense that more action was...

Lesson 1: PROPS!!! Lots and lots of props!

Harrypotterlurvfeverweasley_ravenclar-granger gave me props for my comments:
“Hi I really like the way you verbally attack Twilight fans. The way you threatened their lives by tracking down their IP address and sending them cryptic letter describing how you’re going to kidnap them in their sleep and dismember them limb by limb was so cool. Don’t worry; I’ll have your back if they call the police. I know you’re totally justified because I hate that book too.”

YOU MUST KNOW THAT I DON'T AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE POINTS

Okay, SO many people are saying that Harry Potter is better than Twilight. That’s SO not true!
Twilight is a timeless tale of love, then love lost and found again. It shows how love can get you through everything. It’s such a sweet story about the things people do for love, like Bella goes all the way to Italy to save Edward from the Volturi, for instance.
Also, Twilight is MUCH more creative, I mean, Stephenie Meyer created a new kind of Vampire, instead of just using a stereotypical, Dracula type Vampire. I mean, they sparkle, how...

1) Sperm are living cells that need to be reproduced. If you have been dead for a hundred years such as Edward Cullen your sperm would be LONG dead. Also sperm needs protein, something Edwards body has no need for. If Edward has no sperm, how did he conceive Renessme?

2) 23 and 24 chromosomes does not produce a healthy off spring. Nessie either had a genetic disorder would of died.

3) If Jasper shouldn't of been around people why did he go to school. The Cullen family lived in the middle of no where. I'm sure they could...

First of all, Harry Potter has suspense and is not entirely predictable. How many of you thought Quirrell was the bad guy in Philosopher's Stone instead of Snape? Not many, I think. How many of you thought Sirius Black was evil in Prisoner of Azkaban? A lot. Now that my point is made, I'll ask you this: how many of you knew Bella Swan would choose Edward instead of Jacob? Possibly more than a half of you if not ninety percent. Twilight is very predictable.

On that note, I'll say that Harry Potter has a very complex plot, spun together by interesting events unlike Twilight, where the only events...

How come moody see through the invisibility cloak in 4th year when it was supposed to be one of the Hallows.

How come all the order members apparate inside the hog’s head when the air around was supposed to become thick and Harry was not able to disparate from there.

One supplementary, also on the same night when children were evacuated from Hogwarts, how can they disparate all the children (again the same reason for not being apparating according to me.)

Yeah, I know there's already one of these in this club, but I'm going to do another one. :)
Just a few points on certin parts of Twilight.

Bella Swan-
Oh dear me, Bella Swan. When one says her name, what comes to your mind? A young heroine? A clumsy sweetheart? Or perhaps a useless idiot?
For me, the latter comes to my head. I don't like Bella as a person, and feel she is lacking in certin qualities I admire in the hero of a story. But, why should the main character be a good person in order for the storyline to be good? I myself, am a huge fan of the Harry Potter books, do not like Harry himself...

Twilight or Harry Potter? That's all I see here. And here are some "reasons" each of us came up with.
NOTE: I'm a HP fan, nothing against Twilight though.

Twilight
•Edward is hot.
ME: Umm...not really to me...wait..books or movies?
•JK Rowling failed at love.
ME: Lily Evans gave her life for Harry, and lots more.
•It has a love triangle.
ME: Well...HP has love triangles too. Hermione, Lavender, Ron. Harry, Ginny, Cho. Cho, Harry, Cedric. Severus, Lily, James. And LOADS more.
•Harry Potter is only about a fairy tale. It has a boy who raises a stick in the air and never dies.
ME: Well...vampires...

People keep on saying that Bella has no flaws. What about being clumsy? They also say that she's codependent, and she's anti-feminist. Aren't those flaws?

I just don't get why people say that Bella has no flaws, yet at the same time, they point out her flaws.

Also, they say that the Twilight books have no plot. Please tell me why they have no plot.

Twilight: Bella meets Edward. They fall in love and Bella meets the parents. James smells Bella and wants to kill her. Edward eventually kills Bella and reverses the vampire transformation.

New Moon: Edward leaves Bella. Jacob is apparently a werewolf....

1. When a twilight fan says 'twilight rocks' say 'rocks made of twilight?'
2. Go up to a twilight fan, scream 'Bella! Bella! BELLA!!!! YOU'RE AWESOME!!!!' when they say 'I know right!' say 'Oh no I meant Bellatrix'
3. Ask them all questions about twilight that you can think of. When they ask why say 'I'm doing a book report on the most boring books of the world'
4. Get all the boys and twilight haters (better for them to be Harry Potter fans) to start saying 'Edward, Edwardo, Eddibear, sparkle sparkle'
5. Say that you hate Stephanie Meyer, she's a horrible author and her books make want to poke...

WARNING This article might be quite offensive to twilight, so if you're a fan of twilight (especially if you're one of these crazy fangirls) please do not waste your time to read this and comment. I know there's no point of me telling you this because you'll read and comment anyways, but at least I tried.

Dear characters of twilight,

Bella, please get a life. When peoples' love leave them, they try to stay strong and keep fighting for what is worth it like Hermione did. They do not curl up in the fetal position and go numb for weeks like you did.

Edward, you think you're hot when you sparkle?...

I first found out about the Twilight novels about four years ago. I was at an event with a raffle, and I’d acquired several raffle tickets, and was looking through the raffle items. I came across copies of Twilight and Eclipse that were being raffled off. I’d never head of the Twilight Series before, as this was before they’d become really popular, and I loved reading, so I put my tickets into the raffle for Twilight.
I wasn’t really surprised when I won, since I’d put three tickets in, and only a few other people had entered.
I got home and began reading Twilight, and then when I was...

A few years back I read an article about Robert Pattinson and Rupert Grint and a bet.

Actually it's about what the loser got to do when they lose the bet rather than the bet itself(it was never really mentioned, anyway).

Here's what the article says:

Despite the chilly weather, we got to chat with Rupert while he waited for some friends. Recent reports about this famous redhead stripping down for his upcoming film "Cherrybomb" had Rupert grinning, "No, actually it was really cool, even though that was a very intense kind of scary moment. I was nervous but everything came out great."

We quickly asked...

So, you like Harry Potter? What about Twilight?
I've read (and watched) them both.
When I was twelve I picked up a paper back cover of "Twilight" at the airport for something to read on my plane ride home. I did become quite infatuated with the series, tearing through the second, third and fourth books. I went on this fan club on my old account (which I have long since abandoned) and talked trash about Harry Potter, and talked about how wonderful Twilight was. I talked about Twilight like it was my Bible, and mocked Harry Potter (which I knew next to nothing about). However, when I was thirteen,...
