Megara

Caricature / Gerald Scarfe

Now granted, Megara is not an official Disney Princess but I figure she is a prime example of caricature in a Disney film and where that overpowering style took little regard for the time period in which the story takes place. If animators attempted to use the art of caricature in Aladdin the film Hercules took it to the fullest extent.

This time the studio turned to another caricature artist link, brought to prominence for his work designing the Pink...

9.Sleeping Beauty: True love conquers all.
Coming in last place is Sleeping Beauty's moral, "True Love Conquers All". While many of us agree this would be a wonderful moral, it doesn't apply to real life. In real life, true love rarely conquers anything. Certainly in real life it wouldn't conquer something to the equivalent of Maleficent. While it's a wonderful moral that everyone wishes were true, sadly it isn't, which is understandably why it gained last place in our countdown.

"True love can't didn't conquere Hitler, 9/11, or the Vietnam War. Actually, the more I think about it, doesn't...

It's not like I actually wrote the article, come on, everyone knows how to copy and paste these days
It's not like I actually wrote the article, come on, everyone knows how to copy and paste these days
I posted this on the wall yesterday, but as wall messages get swallowed up pretty quick I decided to write it in a article. So, keep in mind I did not actually write this. Also, there are spoilers at the very end but I will give a thorough warning before that, and even smack a picture after the warning so you will not accidentally see the spoilers. But if you have already been reading the spoilers, it will be nothing new. Enjoy! :)

Intro

The two recent trailers from Frozen, starring Kristen Bell, broadway legend Idina Menzel, comedian Josh Gad, and Jonathan Groff, gave the impression that something...

This is my guess:
Aurora:I always thought she's tall, but she can be medium height either. I would say 1.70 m,but she can be under that too.
Pocahontas:She's very tall, almost as tall as John Smith and he was tall. She has really long legs too.I guess 180-182 m.
Cinderella: I think she's average height. She's shorter than Aurora. Anything from 165-169 m.She can look tall sometimes.
Esmeralda:She's not a Disney Princess, but I read somewhere that she's the tallest of all Disney Princesses.
My guess is anything from 180 to 184 m.Don't know if she and Pocahontas would be same heght.
Elsa:I read that she...

WTF? BOOM!
WTF? BOOM!
Hi guys, okay I noticed that there are photos of both Emma and Dan in their respective roles for the upcoming 2017 reboot of the Disney classic. I would like to voice out my disappointments with the movie, with the exception of Emma Watson (so please don't shoot me!).

Horrible Outfits

When I first saw the photo of the Beast and Belle dancing, it was a 'What the Fish' moment for everyone, not just me. I was expecting something very majestic like what they did with Cinderella.
As somebody had mentioned, this is only an early shot and so I maybe wrong about it. So please feel free to correct...

As an adult, I viewed the name Gaston of Beauty and the Beast's villian, Gaston, as Gaston's last name. I only assume its his last name because 1)the triplet girls call him "Monsieur Gaston" which is basically saying "Mr. Gaston" in the opening song called "Belle" in the reprise that Belle sings by herself the line "Madame Gaston, his little wife?" Most of the time saying "Madame (name" would be like saying Mrs. Gaston. And there's the fact Gaston is a first name but it could also be a last name as well. The name of Phantom of the Opera's author.
