I'm not strictly doing these in chronological order, it's just a coincidence that I chose Ariel next. You might think Ariel isn't a Mary Sue because of her obvious flaws that a lot people hate her for, but I think she still could be. Mary Sues can have flaws (hence why that trait doesn't just say "No flaws" and nothing else). So let's see.

Unique traits without contacts or hair dye- Sort of. Red hair is common enough, but her shade of red definitely isn't. .5
An odd name- Sort of. 'Ariel' is common enough by mermaid standards, but she's the only one of her siblings with a name not ending in A, which is a big Mary Sue trait - being "special" or "different". .5
Looks constantly commented on- Yes, but only by Eric, and it makes sense that he would focus on her looks. .5
Multiple characters falling for her- No, only Eric.
Gets into the relationships she wants- Yes. While meeting Eric wasn't her only reason for becoming human, it was definitely one of her main motivations. 1.
Always the hero- Kind of. She saved Flounder from the shark and Eric from drowning. So not a lot of times, and she didn't defeat the main villain while her prince did, but she also never had to be saved. .5
No flaws or any flaws addressed or causing a negative impact- No. Triton and Sebastian definitely call her out on her selfishness and recklessness, and her decision causes Ursula to nearly take over the kingdom. Though the one thing that kind of undermines this is that she gets what she wants in the end anyway. But I think it's enough to let her off a point or two.
Seen as perfect/angelic in everyone's eyes- Not really, only in Eric's eyes. Triton and Sebastian see her as an immature child, and most of the humans see her as weird instead of charming.
Always loved and trusted without earning it- Yes and no. It makes sense that Eric would be drawn to the girl who saved his life, and even then, she has to win him over after he doesn't recognize her. But her animal friends love and stay loyal to her even after all the trouble she puts them through (even if Sebastian complains about it). Triton doesn't count since she's her father and of course he'd always love her. Since this would usually get a half point for a one-point trait, it's getting one point. 1.
Love and trust from closed-off characters- No, I can't remember any closed-off characters in the film.
Other characters degraded for her sake- Not as far as I can remember.
A rival to make her look good- Not really. Vanessa (aka Ursula) is her rival for Eric's affection, but Ariel isn't portrayed as the superior love interest since Ursula never wanted to be Eric's love interest and was just using him.
Never fails- Kind of. The only thing she failed at was arriving for the concert, which she didn't care about at all. 1.
Never injured- Yes. I can't remember a time Ariel was injured. 1.
Always praised and rewarded without earning it- Yes. Even after all the trouble she caused, Triton just handed her her happy ending. 1.
Unrealistically skilled/powerful- Not really, she showed a realistic naivete and ignorance at being human (I should really focus on how good they are at things for this instead of focusing on the amount of skills they have - slight difference). Being able to save Flounder and Eric was realistic, and she didn't defeat Ursula in the end.
Always figures things out- No. She didn't figure out Ursula was tricking her,
Skilled in a wide variety of things- No, only singing and collecting things.
Contradictory traits- Not really (though in the sequel, she does, though I'm not discussing that)
Kind but deadly- Yeah, she's supposed to be kind and free-spirited but also feisty and rebellious. 1.
Tragic backstory- Sort of. Her life is pretty nice compared to the other princesses, but there's a lot of attention on how she feels trapped and oppressed and wants more. (That also describes Jasmine perfectly, now that I think about it) .5
Always gets what she wants- Definitely. She gets to leave the sea, get her prince, and even stay human. Even when it seems like she won't get what she wants, she does anyway. 1.
Rarely shows negative emotions- No. She gets angry quite a few times, and breaks down at least twice.
A resurrection- Nope.

That's 10.5 out of 24. Honestly more than I expected, but not a Mary Sue (though not a huge non-Sue, if that makes sense). That doesn't mean she isn't a bad character, which a lot of people would argue she is. In fact, you could argue she's too flawed and not idealistic enough.
Hi!
Today I'll be sharing my ranking of the Latin Spanish voices of the Disney Princesses. I grew up with most of these voices so they're special to me. There are only two singers that I dislike in the list, but in general, I find most of the others very fitting for the characters. I'll probably be ranking the English and Catalan voices at some point, and maybe other languages too. I hope you enjoy it, and I would love to read your thoughts!
Let's start...

I wrote this article years ago for the first ten princesses but now with Beyonce's recent contribution to the Disney family in the 2019 Lion King, I figured it was a good time as any to do an updated list with the twelve current official princesses. I decided to add Esmeralda, Megara, Anna, and Elsa too! We just take a look through the Queen Bee's singles and see which one fits each princess based on the title, lyrics, music video and general feel of the song.

Do you know what's funny? Even though she's all about female empowerment and women being independent, Beyonce's just like virtually every...

I doubt if this article belongs here but since we have similiar lists for Esmeralda and Meg, I decided to publish it here. Here is favorite DP list I believe princess Mei from Mulan II would have. Mei highly values romance and also admires people with brave and rebellious personality.
P.S. I am planning to do the same lists for Ting-Ting and Su but these are going to be more difficult to make.

11. Tiana

I am sure that Tiana would be Mei's absolute least favorite DP. Mei would see Tiana as boring, narrow-minded, unromantic, overly rational, materalistic, unadventurous and pig-headed workacholic....

Fanpop is not very kind to this film at all, much like its princess. Pixar made a very halfassed attempt at writing a Disney Princess movie and strangely, it doesn't feel like a Disney film or a Pixar film. Some may even compare it to early 2000s Dreamworks. (read: Shrek) People also find this movie to be a rushed mess with the only well done aspect...

Hi Tiara 66 here I am here to do a tell one of my fav Disney princess sequel the little mermaid 2 return to the sea. Please bear with me I do have some ramble. So without futher or do here is my review.

The story take place probably about seven or eight years after the first movie took place. Ariel is now living on land with Eric and has a daughter name Melody. So Ariel and Eric are having this huge celebration of the fact that now have a child in there family who is human/mermaid. Everything is going great they are having a great time until Morgana shows up and tries to steal Melody. I guess...

What makes for a remarkable Disney Princess dress, the princess herself, of course, and while the Disney Princesses are renowned for their exemplary qualities that showcase the most empyreal aspects of the human spirit, it is the artful assemblage of accessories and garments which assist in emanating those qualities that make for the noblest of ensembles. This is what I believe are the most beautiful Disney Princess dresses. Which ones are yours?

I have seen other people post their own ranking of the Disney Princesses, and since I'm new here, I thought it would be fun to do my own ranking.

I would love to hear your comments about your own ranking and thoughts about my ranking of the Disney Princesses.

Thank you so much for creating a welcoming community where I feel comfortable enough to post my personal opinions.

My ranking of the Disney Princesses has changed a lot over the years, but this is my current ranking for 2019.
14. Merida: I really wanted to like Merida as I have a Scottish heritage and family still living in Scotland, but she harmed her mother and didn't seem to care.

I like that she mended her relationship with her mother later, but I wish she had thought about the possible consequences of her actions.

13. Tiana: I like how Tiana works hard for what she wants in life, but I also feel like she works too hard at times. She doesn't take a step back from her life and realize that sometimes things happen for a reason.

Belle can have a temper at times and not really find the happiness in her situation at the beginning of the movie, so I don’t relate to those parts of her as much, but she is still a great character.

I preferred the live action version of Cinderella more as she was willing to stay optimistic and tried to keep the deer safe from the prince as I am an animal lover.

Family is very important to me, and I would do anything to keep them safe, but I am not even close to being as brave as she is, which is why I don’t relate to her as much as others on my list.

9. Moana: I love the relationship Moana has with her grandmother as my grandmother is a lot like Tala. Moana was hesitant to follow her dreams as I was when I decided I wanted to become an elementary school teacher.

Even though she was scared of hurting Anna, I feel like she should have at least spoken to her rather than being too afraid to leave her room. Family is really important to me, and I can’t imagine shutting them out the way Elsa did.

She stood up for what she felt was right while looking on the inside rather than on appearances. I think that she was a little rude to the suitors, and she could have just said that she wasn’t interested in them rather than embarrassing them.

I had to decide if I should choose the path that would please my family by becoming a doctor, or if I would follow my dream of becoming a teacher. Pocahontas is truly inspiring how she doesn’t waver in her beliefs and follows her dreams.

After I watched the first 7 seasons of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic I started listening to the songs on repeat whenever I felt like it and there are songs from that show that had me thinking of some of the princesses and some of the characters in the movies. Here's a list of the songs, which characters the songs reminded me of, and why.

Song: Rainbow from My Little Pony the Movie
Character: All the princesses

This song is actually mostly for a character in the movie who was a villain but then reformed which isn't what happened to any of the princesses (except maybe Elsa, though...

Hi guys, I am currently watching a scene from The Swan Lake ballet. I actually notice a number of similarities between the popular ballet and Disney's retelling of The Little Mermaid. Since some Ballet Company has tragic endings, I will also cover on the original Hans Christian Anderson's novel in this article!

The Story

Both stories revolve around 2 young heroines and how they meet their fate, Odette is actually a young girl who was suddenly turn into a swan upon meeting Rothbart, the evil sorcerer.
Now upon seeing this, it reminded me of when Ursula turns Ariel a human after she storms out...

Here we go, from least favorite to favorite, here's the Mother's Day countdown results! I know mother's day was two days ago but I'm not waiting a whole year to put up the article so here we go :)

13. Evil Queen
So it's pretty obvious why she was taken out first; She forced her stepdaughter to be a scullery maid and tried to have her killed (twice) just because she was jealous of how beautiful Snow White was.

12. Lady Tremaine
Again, pretty obvious why she was taken out early. Like Snow White, Cinderella's stepmother forced her to be a maid. But unlike Snow White at least Tremaine...

The three classic princesses
The three classic princesses
Okay, I am writing an article after a long time. I suffered from the lack of ideas and imagination for more than 12 days ago. So, I am not in a mood to start a new series, either, Damn! So, I decided to do one short article, duh! Sorry, I am gonna do a series! I mean, duh, some princesses were horribly out of place. I mean, we think every princess is beautiful, but some are a little historically inaccurate and drawn in a wrong way.

Their wonderful hair makes me jealous
Hell, I am having a good hair day! Or not? Well, whatever, I’m in love with the Disney princess hair. So, hair’s a great physical feature we all have got. Yea, all of us rock it! And I love how it varies much less on tastes. According to opinions, Someone’s eyes seem too big or too small, someone’s body can be too thin or too fat, our nose can be too big or too small, we can have too thick or too thin eyebrows and can have too thick or too thin lips. But hair rarely gets such opinions, right? My hair is a shade of dark ginger hair, which is down to my waist and is wavy . I love my hair,...
