Now a lot of you are probably thinking, 'bluethunder25 Gothel can't be redeemed because first of all, she was 'too evil,' and two, she died from old aging and turned to dust.

Well as you know, I've stated in previous articles that I don't feel Gothel is entirely evil. As for the second one, if Gothel did in fact turn to dust, then I say, that means she has a good chance to come back to life which also means she has a good chance of a redemption. How? Allow me to explain.

Now first of all, before you all freak out, no, Gothel's redemption won't be overnight, in fact, for Gothel's redemption arc, she won't even start out with a redemption arc, she will still be a villain.

OK, picture this; what if Gothel had a brother? The brother discovers his sister's remains at the tower and swears revenge for her death. He attempts to find out who it was that responsible for her death. Eventually he learns from Flynn (not calling him Eugene) that HE was responsible and Gothel's brother tries to kill him. Flynn tries to reasons with him, but he doesn't listen. Eventually, the fight breaks out to the castle where Rapunzel and her parents find out and Gothel's brother is defeated. He however escapes with a book that details the magic flower that his sister once used and he finds a page that describes a way to use to the flower's magic to revive the dead.

After searching, Gothel's brother find the ingredients he needs to make the spell, he takes the ashes of Gothel and the ingredients, mixes them together, chants the magic words, and Gothel comes back to life.

The brother-sister duo come together and swear revenge on Flynn.

Rapunzel is shocked to learn of Gothel's resurrection.

The brother and sister try to kill Flynn, but are thwarted by him and Rapunzel. Gothel's brother is arrested, but Gothel escapes into another kingdom.

In the other kingdom, Gothel hides, planning her revenge. However, as the weeks go by, Gothel realizes that, just as there is no need to pursue Rapunzel now that her youth is restored, there is really no need to go after Flynn, even he was responsible for her death.

She continues living in the kingdom, partaking in activities such as shopping, shopping, and more shopping, all the while being anti-social.

Though as time goes on, she finds her personality slowly changing. She is still rude at times and will often belittle people, but that aspect of her personality starts to deteriorate over time. She also began to show a more compassionate, less selfish side; doing things like offering poor people at a little bit of her money and even rescuing a child.

She is soon befriended by the child she saved, learning that she is an orphan, and while at first, she initially doesn't want anything to do with her and rather annoyed by her, she eventually grows somewhat fond of her.

Further into her time in the kingdom, Gothel meets a man her age and the girl she saved urges her to talk to him and get to know him. Gothel at first refuses, saying she's not a 'relationship kind of gal.' However, through coincidence, Gothel and the guy meet up they get to talking for a bit and Gothel actually starts to develop feelings for him after the two go on a few dates.

As time goes on, Gothel begins to realize not only might she care for the girl she once saved, but she may be in love with the man she met. Eventually, she realizes both these emotions and feels something from both individuals that she never really felt before in her life: having a family that she genuinely cares for. She also comes to realize how badly she had treated Rapunzel.

However, the guards from Corona catch up to her and inform the girl and guy about Gothel's past. The guy and girl are heartbroken and leave Gothel to get arrested. Gothel watches in tears as the only other real family she had ever known walks away and she is taken back to Corona.

In her cell, Gothel is confronted by Rapunzel and her parents, saying that she will be punished for her actions.

A few weeks later, Rapunzel brings food to Gothel's cell. Before she walks off, Gothel tells her to stay so she can talk to her. Though reluctant at first, Rapunzel decides to stay. Gothel tells her about her past; from her childhood to her teenage years; and of her experiences in the other kingdom with the guy and girl; and of how it made her regret how she treated Rapunzel. She apologizes for their past before Rapunzel walks away.

A couple months later, Rapunzel suggests that Gothel be set free, but the king and queen and Flynn protest to doing so. Rapunzel assures them that Gothel wants to repent for her actions, but they don't believe so and refuse.

Gothel's brother escapes and, wanting revenge for him and his sister, uses a spell to turn himself into a monster. Gothel's brother rampages through the castle, freeing Gothel in the process. Gothel resolves to stop her brother as he captures Rapunzel, her family, and Flynn. He tries to kill them, but Gothel stops him, saying that she won't let him harm them, especially Rapunzel; the first real genuine thing she does for her. Consumed by the spell, Gothel's brother swipes at her, knocking her into a wall. Flynn tries to fight off Gothel's brother while Rapunzel tries to find a spell to turn him back to normal. She eventually does and turns him back to human form.

Rapunzel then mourns over Gothel who has become fatally wounded. Gothel apologizes again, Rapunzel forgives her. The two say these last words to each other:

Gothel: I love you.

Rapunzel: I love you more.

Gothel: I love you most of all.

Gothel dies. Rapunzel mourns in tears.

However the book Rapunzel used is also the one her brother used to bring her back to life. Fylnn figures maybe they can do the same to her again.

They gather the ingredients and turn it into a potion that rub onto Gothel. Gothel comes back to life again and her and Rapunzel share a hug.

The king, queen, and Flynn thank Gothel for risking her life for Rapunzel. the king offers his hand to Gothel and she shakes.

Gothel asks what will happen to her brother and the king and queen say he will placed under the care the royal guard.

It takes some time, but eventually, Gothel is accepted into the kingdom of Corona, now living with Rapunzel in the castle.

At times, she remembers the man and girl who changed her life, thanking them from afar.

And there you have it. Mother Gothel's redemption arc from top to bottom. Tell me what you think.
Before Happily Ever After

Dear Step family,

You mistreated me, abused me, yet I never retaliated , for every dawn, I found new hope that someday my dreams will come true.

You made me feel that there was nothing left of me.

You took everything I had, you broke everything I am, as if I was made of glass or paper.

I kept in all in, pretended that I didn't care.

You can try to knock me down, but I'll be breaking through.

I'm not your servant, this isn't my fairytale.

I'm gonna find someone someday who might actually treat me well and love me.

Watch and you'll see, someday I'm going to find my happy...

'Cause our song is the slammin' screen door, sneakin' out late tappin' on your window...
Well, one day I was in my room on fanpop listening to "Our Song" by the amaazzinngg Taylor Swift and this little idea come to me for a new article. I am very opinionated about these songs but I can't pick a favorite so I decided to make it a fan pick. Sorry it took so long to get up and if you don't agree with it but c'est la vie. (Also if anyone has any tips for photo-editing so my pictures can be better I would really appreciate it.) Plus, it's done right on time for valentine's day and matches this month's theme perfectly! Thank you DreamyGal for that! Enjoy!

We all know what the Disney girls did in their movies. This is what I think the princesses would do if they were in the real world all working for the same company. I wanted to make something different so here it is! I think I might make this into a fanfic so comment please!

10. Aurora
Aurora would probably be the least helpful in a business. She would probably be the secretary that all the guys gawked at.

9. Ariel
Like Aurora, Ariel would probably end up as a secretary. Both are pretty but would probably be eye candy for the male employees.

8. Pocahontas
She would work hard for sure, but...

Who really is the best?
Who really is the best?
Here is my first article! I'm sorry if there are any spelling and grammar mistakes, english isn't my first language, but I'm very good at it. This is all in my opinion. I decided to combine these two because I wanted to try something new.

10.
Prettiest: Pocahontas
I have never found her pretty! The only thing that I like about her is her body, it's realistic and athletic, but I don't like her face at all. Her hair looks like paper, her mouth looks like the mouth of a fish, her eyes are too small. If they made her looking like the other princesses she would be higher.

Favorite: Pocahontas

Aurora, originally voiced by Mary Costa, is the third Disney Princess, and first appeared in Sleeping Beauty (1959).

9.Pocahontas
Pocahontas isn't gentle, classy, girly, or romantic. Cinderella prefers a sophisticated, calm princess, and Pocahontas leaps off of cliffs and climbs trees. She's not refined or subtle in her personality. Cinderella would appreciate her strength but other than that view her as too wild. She wouldn't understand Pocahontas at all.

8.Ariel
There's no reason why she would love Ariel; she would probably feel neutral about her. Again like Pocahontas, she would find her too reckless and...

Ok. So I'm making this article to defend Tiana and PATF. Their are just some things that some people say that annoy me about Tiana/PATF. Please, no rude comment guys. This is strictly my opinion so please respect it. Ok so please enjoy :)

So first I am going to talk about Tiana. So people dislike her because she's realistic. I don't think that's a good enough reason to not like her. The reason she work hard Is because she had a goal and she wanted to strive for it. I mean, your not just going to sit their like a lazy bum. When you have a dream go for it! She had a dream like Ariel did except...

Hi there! I did a Countdown about Charlotte laBouff's Outfits! Here are the results! Pictures are at the bottom.

6. Childhood Dress
Nobody commented on this dress, but I presume that it was eliminated because people did not like the style and thought it was ugly and unflattering. I am not a big fan of it.

5. Wedding Dress

"Noooo I love her wedding dress!" ~Sumerjoy11
"I prefer the traditional white wedding dress." ~Mongoose09

This dress was probably eliminated because of the shape of the skirt and the sleeves, the two reasons I dislike it.

4. Mardi Gras Party Dress

"Too poufy and weird. I like...

Okay, so I have noticed there is some kind of Rapunzel war going on Fanpop, or something...not going to say names or anything. It first started with a question thread, and now several pick questions, and well...

It needs to stop. Guys, I am all for having opinions, but really.

I feel really bad, because, personally, I feel like I participated in the bashing to an extent. I expressed my opinion in the question thread, but I feel like I bashed her too. I re-watched clips of Rapunzel and also read about the good things people had to say about her.

I can see why people can relate to her, with being...

My first article written since I’ve been back! :) Hope you guys like it and FYI; my top four are probably typical ha.

10) Rapunzel

I love her hair and she has cute eyebrows, but overall her looks don’t cut it for me. She has a big head and a weird nose, and her eyes are freakishly huge; they take up half her face. Just way too cartoony for me, she looks like a bobble head IMO.

9) Ariel

Another one that’s too cartoony. She has some really pretty shots, like the picture I’m using; it’s my favorite of her. Her hair would be prettier if it weren’t for her bangs, I don’t like...

I'm sure that many of us (girls) dressed up in our childhood (and some of us maybe do it even now) as Disney Princesses. Or at least dressed up in rags pretending out them to be huge, sparkly gowns. The clothes of princesses is another thing that make their movies enchanting and nostalgic, especially those spectacular, gorgeous gowns. Here are the main gowns of each princess in order as you voted them. (If you want to see results of previous countdown, you can check old article link

Old position: #8

This dress lost with large percentage. People dislike it for many reasons.First...

The famous movie that everyone's talking about!
The famous movie that everyone's talking about!
Hi everyone, this is the first time that I'm writing a review about Tangled. I recently watched the movie and absolutely love it!
The storyline is amazing and partially unpredictable, reminds me of the Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter in a way. The colours are superb and multicoloured, really makes my day!
The characters are funny, witty and full of mysteries surrounding themselves, especially Rapunzel and Pascal. I really, REALLY love her as she became my #1 favourite suddenly!
To conclude my reviews are the music and the architect of the building, the song "I see the light" makes me cry as it again became my favourite and the tempo reminds me of "So Close" from Enchanted (which is the only song I like from Enchanted). Finally, the architect is beautiful that it looks like one of the castles from France. The roof itself looks very Bohemian and Medieval.

Well, that's my review and hope you enjoy reading it though it's not the best!
Love her very much!

Well.. I sorta got bored and decided to compile a list of my favourite DP songs in order and then averaged out the results to come up with a favourite soundtrack list. All images are mine. Hope this article turns out okay! I doubt many will agree with me ahah. Here goes..

(I'm ONLY counting songs btw, NOT the background score otherwise the list would be completely different)

#10. Sleeping Beauty

Coming in at last place is Sleeping Beauty. To be honest the only song I like from this movie is Once Upon A Dream, which I find is the perfect duet. The others are all well composed - maybe with...

FIRST, I would like to congratulate ppgbelle4 for being January's fan of the month! :D She really deserves it, with all the wonderful contributions she's made :) *cues round of applause*

1. How does it feel to be Disney Princess fan of the month?

I am going to be honest: I didn't expect to be voted as FOTM. ROFL Honestly. I haven't been on as most people here, so I was shocked. I thought tiffany88 was going to win with how much she contributes with all of her desktop wallpapers. ...So yeah, I was like :O, and still like :O. Here are my favourite Disney princess endings

#1 Beauty & the Beast: One of the most touching endings I have ever seen this one is so beautiful as you hear the Beauty & the Beast song in the end and Belle dancing with Adam and you see the stained glass at the end. Simply beautiful.

#2 The Little Mermaid: Another touching scene that I love and the reason is because I love how Ariel says that she loves her father and you see her and Eric sharing true love’s kiss...

I found this article on Ezine Articles and I thought it was really interesting.

Trying to decide what the best all time Disney movie is not an easy task to do, but trying to determine what the top five Disney princess movies are is even harder. One of the best things about the Disney princess movies are how much they have influenced kids of all ages. Little girls enjoy princess dress up clothes even more so because of the Disney princesses. Putting on that Cinderella costume or even a Snow White dress allows them to dream that someday they will find a prince.

Princess dress up clothes even encourages...

I hope this will be the last chapted I have to write cause I wanna get the heck out of here. Okay so Aurora step twords Maleficent as a dragon and Maleficent made a small laugh of humor.

"Well what a twist on our story it's the brave little princess coming to the rescue" laughed Maleficent

"Yes and she's also going to slay the dragon" said Aurora with confidence but felt like a coward on the inside.

"Let's just see if you live long enough, because not even your ruby slippers can protect you from my fire blast" said Maleficent as she blasted green fire at her.

The princesses found themselves in a dirty dungeon, with skulls and bones all about. They were amazed that Fairy Godmother's magic really worked, and were wandering around.
Ariel poked at one of the bones. "Cool! A whatsitcalled!"

Belle tried her best to explain the insides of the human body.
Ariel looked at the bone, then at Belle. "Ew!" she screamed, and stepped closer to her friends.
"Please excuse the mess," Snow White informed them. "The Evil Queen never liked cleaning up after her prisoners." She hopped on over to a mirror hanging...

Since most of the Disney princesses are derived from fairy tales they have gone through many transformations before Disney took their stab at it. I’m going to use the stories I grew up on as “the original”.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
In the original Brothers Grimm story the evil queen tries three times before the poisoned apple to kill Snow White and fails, ones with a poison comb, once with a murderously tight hair ribbon and another time with a similarly tight corset. Each time she is saved by the dwarves. Disney also gets rid of the queens violent smashing of the magic...
