Hola!

For those of you who don't know me, I'm AprilGhost, and here is a list of people who, in my opinion, look like Disney princesses.

A few things, first:
1. I have not cast Pocahontas. This is partly because it is so hard to find Native American models/actresses, but also because she was a real person. I think it's insulting to dreamcast her.
2. Yes, some of these are, in fact, models. I'm not saying that these people should play the princesses; I'm just saying that that's how I imagine them.
3. I haven't dreamcasted Elsa or Merida since I can't find anyone who looks like them.

On with the list!

Snow White : Astrid Berges-Frisbey


Astrid, to me, has that stereotypically innocent look to her. To tell the truth, I've not really seen her in anything besides Pirates of the Caribbean since, well, I don't speak French, but looks-wise, she'd be a great Snow. Her hair is a bit lighter and longer than Snow's but otherwise she's perfect.

Cinderella : Rosie Tupper


Rosie is a model, so I can't comment on her acting, but looks-wise she looks exactly like how I'd imagine Cinderella. She has a very refined look to her, with a similar facial structure and features to Cinderella. Colouring-wise, Rosie has similar hair and eye colour. Looks-wise, I think she's a very good Cinderella.

Aurora : Elsa Holmgren


I found Elsa while searching up other models, and immediately knew that she belonged in this list. She definitely gives off a very 'flower child' vibe, and her photos seem to show naivete and dreaminess; which is the vibe I mainly got from Aurora.

Ariel : Sophie Turner


Confession time: while Sophie is a very pretty girl and definitely looks like Ariel, the main reason I cast her as Ariel is because of a character she plays. Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones is, in my opinion, quite similar to Ariel; they're both from nobility, who hope to leave home, who fall in love and for different reasons realise that it isn't quite what it seemed. But while Sansa's life doesn't get better, Ariel's does.

Belle : Sophie Cookson


I really do seem to have a thing for girls called Sophie, but this Sophie looks like a Belle to me. Not least is that she looks really nice in yellow, which has become Belle's signature colour. I have also seen Sophie in a movie (Kingsman), and she gave off a very Belle vibe of elegance and refinity.

Jasmine : Aiysha Hart


Every time I see anything Atlantis-related on my dashboard, I immediately think 'Jasmine'. Aiysha gives off such a strong Jasmine vibe; maybe it's the fact that she always seems to be in blue, or maybe it's just her general look. She just has a serious princess look going on, and she just makes me see Jasmine every time I see her.

Mulan : Arden Cho


I kinda feel guilty about this dreamcast, as Arden is Korean and Mulan Chinese. However, Arden looks exactly like how I pictured Mulan, and after seeing her as Kira in Teen Wolf, I think she could play her too. Kira, like a modern Mulan would be, is tough and good with a sword, but also really sweet. A vibe like that is definitely Mulan in my opinion!

Tiana : Aja Naomi King


I know Aja from her role as Michaela in How to Get Away with Murder, a role that makes me think 'Tiana'. Michaela, like Tiana, is a very smart, hard-working, career-minded girl. Looks-wise, Aja also gives me a serious Tiana vibe, and she just seems great to me.

Rapunzel : Nell Tiger Free


Nell is actually 15 compared to Rapunzel's 18, however, I think she'd work. Looks-wise, she's great. Long blonde hair, light eyes, and with the whole dreamy vibe. I've not seen Season 5 of Game of Thrones so I can't see her in action, but she seems good looks-wise.

Anna : Luca Hollestelle


I first came across Luca on Tumblr being offered as a dreamcast for Ginny Weasley, and she never struck me as Anna until recently. She just has the perfect combination of spunk and naivete to be my dream Anna. Aside from the brown eyes, Luca looks so much like the Anna in my imagination.
