Ok! So here is my review of Frozen's characters! I've already reviewed the music of the film, which you can read here (just copy and paste the link: link

INTRODUCTION
I'm just going to say right now....Frozen has some of the best characters of any Disney film. Why? One word: DEVELOPMENT. The characters are all so well developed, and they all have such great and complex personalities (yes, even you Hans). I found that as I watched the film, I realized every character symbolized something. Olaf represented the bond between Elsa and Anna...and Hans, the villain, represented the breaking of their bond. BUT I WILL GET INTO THAT LATER!

ANNA
Anna is the main protagonist of Frozen. She would also be one of my favorite Disney princesses. Anna is quirky, awkward, and a little clumsy. Most importantly: she's flawed. "FINALLY!" I can hear the feminists cry. A Disney princess who isn't perfect! Of course, there have been others. But Anna's flaws are emphasized...I mean, they show her snoring and drooling out of her mouth for God's sake. I think girls in particular will relate to Anna very well. I thought Anna could be a little rude and obnoxious at times...I think we see the sweeter side of her towards the film's end (when her primary concern is the safety of her loved ones). Anna also becomes less self centered as the film progresses. This is explained in reprise of the cut song "Life's Too Short." Anna was so desperate to be loved, that she only focused on her own feelings. During the scene on the fjord, Anna finally matures. She does NOT go to Kristoff to save herself. She goes to Elsa. Although, I was confused about one thing....after Hans reveals himself to Anna, Anna doesn't go to save Elsa. She doesn't even mention Elsa's life being in danger. She only thinks about Kristoff. But then I realized, this is still the immature Anna. She was only thinking about saving her own life at that point. When she sees Elsa in danger, this is when the switch flips. She sacrifices HERSELF in order to save her sister's life. I thought this was a great climax, probably one of Disney's best. And it goes along with the film's theme: love is putting someone else's needs before your own! One part of this scene in particular broke my heart: when Hans is standing over Elsa with his sword drawn. Anna looks hurt and confused, because her sister, who was usually cold and withdrawn, looked VULNERABLE. It probably broke Anna's heart as well, seeing her sister defeated like that. Moments before that, she said very boldly to Hans that he was "no match for Elsa." But now she saw her beautiful, powerful sister about to be slayed by his sword! Overall, Anna's character goes along with Disney's traditional coming of age films. Yes, almost every Disney princess movie is about COMING OF AGE. Notice how almost all of the princesses are teenagers. During all of their films, they go through the things most people go through when becoming adults: they become less selfish and naive, and they slowly begin to understand how the world works. Most importantly: they find TRUE LOVE! And Anna's character shows that it doesn't have to be romantic love, it can also be repairing a broken bond with a family member.

I've noticed that characters and relationships are discussed in great detail on this page where a lot of the Disney Princesses are ripped apart. Well as much as I agree to a lot of whats being said I think to kick-start my first time writing an article on this page I would start out on a positive note.

Snow White
For starters she is the one who started it ALL. Disney's first and most anticipated movie was hers. For years he dreamed of recreating this wonderful fairytale that is so incredibly enduring and timeless that here we are on fanpop talking about it all the time. The best thing about...

The Queen of Spoilers
The Queen of Spoilers
Tony Stark is Iron Man, everyone dies at the end of Les Miserables, Cinderella goes to the Ball, Spoiler, Spoiler, Spoiler, SPOILERS!!!!

Back in the day before the web, 'yes there was a time before the web,' it wasn't this hard to hide yourself from spoilers. Now with one the BIGGEST Disney Movie Event in a long time, it's even hard to hide from them. But this article hopefully will help everyone know what do to when it comes to spoilers.

The Wall.
The wall is like your facebook wall, you post something and everyone can see it. Now when you see Frozen say opening day you’re going want to be...

This is my first article on Fanpop and I hope you all enjoy viewing it! This is completely my own opinion and should not be taken seriously. I will be creating an updated list after Frozen premieres. Please keep in mind that this is a list for specific characters, not their movies. Otherwise, this list would look much much different. Let the countdown begin!

#11: Mulan

I have nothing against Mulan, honestly, but she is the one Disney Princess that doesn't interest me in any way, shape, or form. She is strong, chivalrous, and brave. Which is great, but I've always been a girly-girl. Her personality...

Hey guys! So I’ve been here since the beginning of summer, and I figured it was time to make one of these since I’ve seen so many of my new friends make them, too! I haven’t really opened up to anyone about who I am and what I like, so I thought this would be a good place to start! :)

My name is Brooke and I’m 18 years old. I live in southern Delaware with my parents, my two older sisters, and my younger brother. However, I’m going to be moving to college in a couple days, so that’s going to change soon!

I originally came to fanpop when I was researching Disney history for a fun...

CALLING ALL MEMBERS!!!!!

A petition is starting and I need your help! There are five women who are part of the "Disney Animated Characters" who I believe deserve to become known as a "Disney Princesses". When I am done with the petition I will be sending a letter to Disney Productions.

I will start with Kida(Kidagakish), Princess of Atlantis from "Atlantis:The Lost Empire" and "Atlantis:Milo's Return". Next there is Esmerala, Princess of the Paris Gypsies from "The Hunchback of Notre Dame 1 & 2". Then there is Meg(Megara), married to Hercules(Prince of Gods) from "Hercules". Some would...

Alright, it’s getting toward the end of summer, and before it’s over I thought I’d do something entirely superficial. The placements are based purely on looks alone, I’m just going to be entirely shallow. These are just my opinions, they’re weird, I know. This is going to get very long. The pictures are their prettiest shots in my opinion.

11. Merida
*Blows out a deep breath* Merida. (Read in same intonation as Nostalgia Chick uses when she says “Anime” in her top ten hottest animated guys countdown- watch it, it’s hilarious.) I want to like the way Merida looks, I really do....

When dimitri_is_hot made her list of the Disney Princes she'd settle down with I figured I'd do it too but with the Disney Princesses. It took a lot of thought to figure it out. Anyway please comment about what you think and please keep in mind this is just my opinion.

11.Aurora

I honestly don't think we would have any chemistry. Me and her don't really have anything in common, other than feeling like people treat us like we're still children, but other than that nothing really. I'm outspoken and a little rebellious while she's dependent and does what she's told. For me I prefer to have...

Favourite Formal Dresses: link

10) Mulan's Green / Multi-coloured Dress

I don't like this dress. The top green part really suits her so does the red sash. But the rest of the colours doesn't do her any favours.

9) Aurora's Cottage / Forest Dress

This is proof that Aurora looks good in any thing. It's a very plain dull looking dress, but Aurora's graceful movements and natural beauty make it seem elegant. But I can't put it any higher because the grey makes it too dreary!

8) Snow White's Forest Dress

I don't like the back-collar high neck piece. The skirt is...

I'm a big fan of Britney Spears, her songs are fantastic and she's very well known and has been a singer since 1998, isn't that amazing? Now this time I'm not going to post a link to an article about her since I think most of us knows who she is. Again it was hard to choose which song I would use for each princess, but anyways enjoy!

Snow White: Oops!...I Did It Again

This song suits her very well in my opinion because well it suits the relationship between her and Grumpy, it's not a very well suited song, but it still suits her in my opinion.
Here's a link to the song: link

As usual, lessons were unbearable to Lizzie. She had been doing the same things repeatedly since she was six years old and little had changed. It always started the same. The headmaster would have Elizabeth and her lady-in-waiting Cornelia have tea and then they would start with a geography and literature lesson that Elizabeth didn't mind. Next came the unbearable part. Learning proper party protocol or dealing with fans or dancing. None of this Elizabeth particularly enjoyed (especially dancing) but at least she didn't have to learn about the 40 different utensils for eating one meal. She...

With one dress per princess, this is not in any perticular order of which i like best

Snow White: Yellow dress
With only two dresses in the film my fav has got to be the yellow one. it fits her well and matches her skin tone nicely.

Cinderella: Wedding dress
White looks so good on her so my fav dress is the original wedding dress. the way it complaments the frame of her body makes her verry pretty.

Aurora: Blue dress
Her blue dress has got to be hands down my fav dress on her. blue is definetly her color, the pink doesn't quite work as well with her purple eyes and gold hair.

Ariel: Blue town dress...

Now Jasmine was forced to be a slave for Jafar. Luckily Alexandra and Erica hadn't been noticed, but they still sneaked into the palace to see what was going on.

They saw how Jafar tried to make her fall in love with him and how it in the end worked, they also saw the boy who they didn't knew the name of who was trying to steal the lamp, but Jafar stopped him from doing it and when Jasmine tried to do it Jafar putted her in a hourglass.

This is my first fan fiction ~ and I choose this story because it allowed me to use 4 Princesses (And one non-Princess) in major roles. All ten princesses have a part in this story as well, although 2 won't appear until part 2. I also tried to add origional aspects (most of which unfortunately won't come until the later parts either) instead of just directly quoting the movie. Anyways, I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it :) And if you could, constructive critisism for things to improve on would be definitely be nice :) Anyways, I'll stop blabbing. Enjoy :)

Dear John,

Wingapo,

I miss you. I miss you so much it hurts. I am forever grateful that you took a bullet for my father but it broke my heart when you left- but I knew it was for the best- you needed to get healed, the only chance you had of surviving was if you went back to England.

I remember I showed you so many things: a wolf crying to the blue corn moon, the grinning bobcat, mountains, I taught you to paint with all the colors of the wind.

There's a full moon tonight, it reminds me of you, half a world away.

A few days together, that's all it took, a few days for me to fall in love with you....

Sorry for taking so long, but I've been quite busy on this spot with posting new forum posts and such, but now I decided to write about the results from the Best DP title picture countdown and I will write a few comments for each of them and where I would place them (you might recognise it from my article about it)! Anyways, enjoy the article and please comment!

10.Snow White
This sweet, refined, adorable little girl might be a joy to watch on-screen, but might've been lacking a bit in the smart department. First of all, she goes into some little house that she doesn't even know who's it is, and sleeps on their bed! Really? What if they all had malaria or something? Then, even though the dwarves warned her PLENTY of times, she lets in an old, creepy lady into her house....

14. Cinderella

To me, Cinderella isn’t the best princess. I’m not sure what it is, but something about her just rubs me the wrong way. I’m not sure if it’s her voice, her personality, or her naivety, but I just can’t stand her. She doesn’t try very hard to get Prince Charming, she does try just not very hard, she doesn’t even tell him her name! How wrong is that? She dances with the dude all night and doesn’t even tell him anything about herself, to me, that’s just wrong!

13. Megara

Again, this whole truth...
